They were very courteous, responsive and professional - from the office staff to the actual servicemen. We needed a part for our air conditioner (through our warranty company) and they came out to install the part the same day they received it. They called me first thing in the morning with a scheduled timeframe and arrived within that time. I would highly recommend them.

EMCO text company installed my Trane AC unit in 2019, which is under warranty for 10 years. Two days back my thermostat went blank. I called the EMCO company for the service. Next day the technician came and replaced the Transformer in the AC. Still then the system was not working. Then the technician checked the voltage going to the unit and told me that AC unit is getting 140 instead of 120 volts. And then suggested me to call the electrician and PECO to check the voltage coming in to the house. I called PECO and their technician checked everything and confirmed that 120 volts is coming inside the home. Then I called local certified electrician to check the voltage inside the home. Next day he came checked the voltage, it is 120 volts . Then again I call the EMCO company. The customer service lady got annoyed and then agreed to send their technician next day to recheck the system.
Today the same technician came back and checked the voltage, it was 120 and checked the Transformer which went bad, again he checked the voltage with his multimeter which was reading 140 volts. He checked the voltage with my multimeter which I own. It was reading 120 volts. That means the technician multimeter was not working properly, then he went to the store and brought his own new multimeter. Then he replaced the new Transformer. Still then system was not working properly and the thermostat was still blank. Then he went and checked the outside unit and found out that one of the part was not working properly, which he replaced. Now the unit is working properly.
I don't know whether it's a good review or bad one. That was the ordeal I went through.
Take away from this experience is. Being a good company, please try not to treat your customers this way, because they trust your company and your service.

Initially in July 2023 there was a bit of back and forth to determine if EMCO would be able to procure parts as my HVAC system purchased in 2019 was still under the manufacturer's warranty. For the first service, I was advised this wasn't offered so I paid for a circuit board and labour, it was pricey. I used another HVAC service to replace my blower as that company was able to confirm warranty for the new blower. Fast forward to November 2023 and my heater doesn't work. Seems like I need a new circuit board based on their diagnostics. Spoke to EMCO and asked again about my warranty, after a bit of haggling, they confirmed they were able to procure. The technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the issue (and replaced by filter for free). Rating them 4 stars as I paid for a circuit board and labour in July and only paid for labour in November. If it were left up to me, I would ask for a refund for the July cost but I didn't. Overall, they company is efficient and Hannah is pretty thorough in her approach. I would recommend this company.

Very professional and kind. Wish they had parts on hand instead of having to wait several more days for a repair. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating.

Service was ok, but I was charged $320.00 dollars per lb. For r22 freon, I was charged $1000.00 dollars for 3 lbs. I checked the internet and found that it can be purchased for $299.00 dollars for 10lbs. This is total price gouging! I don't recommend their service!

Very unprofessional! The tech shut off my broiler without any warning or consent. After the tech left is when we realized our broiler was shut off. We then found wires exposed and parts of the broiler removed. Once this was discovered I called and requested they return to restore heat in my home. They did not return to my property to turn the broiler back on after requesting they due so due to the low temperatures for the weekend. I do not recommend this company! Do not allow them in your home!!!!!

Again your response to my review is deceptive and further confirms my statements below. This information was not communicated nor did my system fail. YOUR technician shut my system down without any explanation or prior communication. I will deter any consumer from using this company if you have a steam heat in your home.

FRAUDS!!!!!!!! I trusted this company to fix my heat. They told me what was wrong, I paid $1200, the heat worked for 3 weeks. They came back out, then found another $1200 problem. So, 3 weeks and $1200 later, I'm still without heat!I'm contacting my attorney and the Better Business Bureau.

Terrible came out because the upstairs split unit wasn’t working. They said they filled it up with coolant but never fixed the issue of the unit not working outside so the upstairs of our house right now is 80°. Knowing this the only available time they had tomorrow is 12 to 3 at least you could come out here first thing.
