I cannot recommend Summers Quality Services enough.
I purposely waited about a month before doing this review. That way, I can give true experience as opposed to just it install.
When we purchased our new house, unfortunately, the previous owner screwed around with the HVAC unit essentially making it inoperable about a year after hour house purchase.
We received quotes from numerous companies but we were highly recommended to go with Summers quality service. Their price was also one of the best we received.
Their communication was awesome and the person that originally came out to give us the quote was very informative.
We did not go with the top of the line system but we did go with a mid-range.
The unit that needed to be replaced was in our attic as well as the compressor outside. The unit in the Attic was a monster in size and was leaking at the coils. Unfortunately as I said the previous homeowner screwed around with the system that the compressor outside needed to be replaced as well even though that was essentially only 3 years old.
It took Summers and entire 2 days to install the new system as our walk-up steps to the Attic we're not as wide as the unit itself even after being dismantled. They had to break it down in the small pieces and chop it to get it down the steps.
There were two people when the first day, they were both very knowledgeable it appeared. One worked upstairs and the other one worked outside. When the second day, one of them was replaced by what seemed to be more of an apprentice work gopher.
They did not take a lunch either day but definitely put in very long days in very hot weather. It was extremely impressive.
I ended up with an Amana unit which replaced a Carrier unit.
Multiple times, I've looked outside to see if the compressor was running as it's super quiet even though it's right in front of one of our side windows.
With the old unit, we used to hear a whooshing sound every time it turns on but we do not hear that anymore. There are many times I will reach up to see if it turned on. This unit does not blow as hard as our old unit and it takes a little bit longer to cool down to temperature then over the unit did when it's first being turned on. Yes, I know we should set it to a specific temperature and just leave it but I do typically turn it off when it's not necessary.
As far as cool in the house, this thing is amazing.
As I said, I highly recommend Summers as their price was great they're installed was fast and their communication was awesome!
