I’m very disappointed with the lack of reliability and customer care from W. F. Smith, Inc. I had scheduled an appointment with them several weeks in advance to repair our central air conditioning—something crucial for our household, especially because we have an elderly woman on bedrest who absolutely needs a climate-controlled environment.

Throughout the process, I made sure to keep in touch with the company, confirming that someone would be home and ensuring all necessary details were communicated. Despite this, the appointment was canceled, and I was informed that there were not enough technicians available to cover when one canceled. That’s completely unacceptable for a company in this industry, especially when dealing with essential home systems like air conditioning.

When someone requests central air service, especially in a vulnerable situation like ours, there should be some level of priority and contingency planning. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It became very clear that customer needs—especially urgent ones—are not a priority for this company.

Ultimately, I lost any respect or trust I had in W. F. Smith, Inc. and turned to another, far more reliable company who took care of the issue promptly. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for dependable, responsive HVAC service.
