John Pratt is an ace of a plumber... and person. He has done work for me a couple times so far. He responds quickly, checks out the problem and does what needs to be done at a good price. He is professional and friendly, making it an all-around positive experience. I highly recommend him.

Excellent and honest plumber! I had a mysterious toilet clog. John got back to me right away and provided a clear plan and price. Needless to say, we were up and running in no time. Relieved to have a reliable and trustworthy plumber to call and recommend. P.S. I won't post pictures, but how a banana peel landed in my toilet will remain a mystery!

I must say I had a very good experience with John. I had a leak under my sink in the bathroom and kitchen sink was clogged on two separate occasions. He was knowledgeable and creative and for the most part reliable. You call he’s there. I will refer him to anyone who is looking for a reasonable plumber and I will continue to use him in the future. John did an excellent job fixing our bathroom sink drain. We had a leaking S-trap with old corroded pipes. He was able to provide an estimate over the phone after I sent him some photos of my sink set up. He noticed the pop-up assembly and trap adapter needed work, too. Really glad he caught those issues - would have been a headache dealing with them later.
He was able to come out the next day, which was perfect since we needed it done while our 3-year-old was at daycare. Work was done quickly and looks great. John was straightforward to work with and guaranteed his work for a year.

As someone with a house built in 1925, I especially appreciated his expertise with older homes - he was careful around my old enamel sink and knew how to handle the lead drain pipes properly.

They were a dream! I had a toilet I just could not get unclogged despite multiple tricks and tips I found online. My landlord kindly informed me tenants were responsible for their own plumbing issues unless it was something related to an issue with the building. Panicked, I called these guys and they were so kind and accommodating. They were able to come out and resolve the issue within the hour. Would absolutely recommend them! They were responsive, professional and reasonable.

We had what turned out to be a more complicated fix than expected. John provided a detailed explanation of the situation and provided the best in customer service to solve the issues and successfully complete the work with the utmost care, dedication, and reasonable cost. I had a plumbing crisis on a Saturday, googled “Plumbers near me” & the 1st company I phoned have yet to return my call. I called John & he came to my home within 2hrs. Surveyed the issue, he & his partner got working right away, and made special accommodation to get the job done the next morning (on his day off.) That’s dedication & heart! Contacted company as a result of positive reviews online. Company responded promptly and arrived soon to repair a leak originating from the bathroom sink. Also had two toilets replaced. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and work area was thoroughly cleaned afterward.
Company communicated well and arrived on time to perform work. The price for the repairs was reasonable and the workers were personable and respectful of my home.

Having read many excellent reviews, I hired John to install a heat pump water heater. His work was outstanding, he’s knowledgeable and informative, and he’s a great guy. I recommend him highly.

I initially met John Pratt through the app Next Door when I was looking for a contractor to help me find out where the water was coming from that was seeping into my laundry room. He offered to come out to my home free of charge to take a look at the problem. He determined it was not a plumbing issue and never asked me for any money. I truly appreciated his kindness. A few days later I needed to hire a plumber, without hesitation I called him and left a message with his service. It was late in the afternoon so I really didn't expect to hear from him until the next day. Not only did he return my call a short time later but he said he would be able to take care of what I needed the next morning. True to his word he was there first thing the next day. John is not only professional but very personable. If you are in need of a good plumber don't hesitate to call John. He will definitely get the job done.

I have had to call on John twice so far and he has been timely and courteous. Just as important I don't feel like I’ve been “price gouged”.
