I've been a client of Fred's since I purchased my home in 1985.

He has installed/replaced heating systems, bathrooms fixtures, drain pipes - just about anything that needed to be replaced or repaired in an old house. He has been nothing but professional, always prompt in his response, never needed call backs - a fabulous plumber.

I'm a first time customer. I had found this contact information by simply doing a google search and thought "what do I have to lose". I called and spoke to the message center. I received a call back within 5 minutes. I explained my issues and was told that the "drain guy" would reach out. The "drain guy" called 5 minutes later, I reiterate my issue and was told that someone would be out within the hour. Sure enough someone was knocking on my door to deal with my plumbing.

After a horrible experience with another plumber, I called Fred Jonas & Son, and Ian was very responsive to the somewhat urgent matter, and resolved the issues left by the last plumber. I have 100% in their work and will surely call upon them again.

Ian installed new plumbing fixtures and hardware we purchased. Rushed the job, poor installation and dinged brand new fixtures. Left a leaking faucet, I discovered it and had to turn it off from the shutoff to prevent a flood, and he didn’t come back to fix it for three days. Maybe others have had a good experience but ours was not.

Excellent experience with this business! Ian Jonas, who runs the family business, responded quickly to my initial call, and asked specific pointed questions re my plumbing issue. He made an appointment for the next morning, and messaged me that morning to confirm time. He was 90 minutes early, and completed the job (replacing faucet and two valves) in less than 45 minutes. Efficient, professional, polite, organized + fair pricing. Will use them again and can recommend them enthusiastically!

Ian just finished a big job for my daughter in Philly and he was very efficient and was able to diagnosis the problem and remediate it very quickly for us! He also recommended a great company to do the cement work so he could go back and seal up the drain! He is really great with communication with good prices. Highly recommend!
