I called Josh on a Sunday, he answered, asked me to send him some pictures and said he’d be out a few hours later to give me an estimate. He showed up, was very honest about what he could and couldn't do and gave me a very fair estimate on the spot. I had wanted the work done within 3 weeks and he said he could make it happen. A few days after Josh had stopped over he text me and said he was going to come the next day at 7 am to get started. The next morning at 6:55 am he was at my house. He finished the work that day and the very next day had guys over to hydroseed for me.

From start to finish working with Josh and Rock Hill Landscaping has been an easy, stress free experience. A breath of fresh air compared to other companies I've dealt with in the past. I highly recommended them.

Josh does a great job cutting our lawn and also did a nice job adding mulch to our landscaping beds. Josh is responsive when I communicate with him.

Josh did a great job mulching our yard. With his mulch machine it took him 90 minutes for a job that used to take me 8 hours over two days (not including the time it took for my body to recover). He tidied up as well. If you are moving mulch around your yard by hand, do yourself and your body a favor, call Josh!

I had a big job of spring cleanup that included major shrub and decorative grass pruning and removal of one tree and lots of branches. My husband and I dreaded having to face this project yet again this year so we decided to call in the professionals. We met with Josh and his team, explained what we wanted and they got to work. They worked very hard and did a great job. We got exactly what we wanted and didn’t have to lift a finger. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you fellas! See you next year!!!

Rock hill Landscaping is absolutely the best snow removal company out there. We were in a bind and could not get any other snow removal company around us to help out. Just came out right away. Josh continues to get the job done asap. HIGHLY recommend.

Rock hill landscaping saved the day!! In an attempt to till, grade, soil and seed my own lawn, we had some inclement weather that thwarted my plans. My yard was a mess and panic set in. I called Josh on a Sunday (multiple times) and he was extremely responsive. After talking to him I learned he did work for a few of my neighbors. We Went to check out their lawns and my panic immediately subsided, their lawns looked great and I knew I was in good hands. They also recommended him!! He’s a hustler, responsive and did everything he said he would do. I’m extremely pleased with his work and I plan on having Josh back in the fall to do my side yard. 10/10 would recommend. Josh is reliable and does quality work for a fair price! He provided mowing and trimming service for my 2-acre property, and it always looked great after he came. He also was prompt to make up if there were delays due to weather and was great at communicating and meeting the expectations he set. He was also always very responsive to quoting and completing work I might as for beyond the recurring scheduled lawn service.

Josh was professional and polite. My wife and I hired Rock Hill to address our front hillside as it was impossible to maintain as grass due to the steep incline. He gave us multiple options to solve our issue and we decided on river rock with a retaining barrier to prevent the rock from sliding. Josh had the job done in two days and it looked perfect. I will definitely hire Rock Hill for future projects.

Josh and his team replanted our yard while also building some rock retaining walls and mulching our landscaping. And when he left everything was neat and clean. The plants seem to be thriving and I would highly recommend him. He's young, but really seems to know what he's doing. Josh is an amazing person to work with. Our quarter acre yard was covered in enormous boxwood that had been unmanaged for nearly 20 years, invasive vines, brush, junk, and had a hill that needed graded. The “before” picture does not do justice to the mess we had.We had several businesses come out and never call back because it was such a big job, or took months to communicate or move forward at each step. Josh took it on quickly, worked tirelessly, and gave us a fresh start in our yard. He was easy to communicate with, fast, sent us updates and pictures while we were out of town, and even gave us ideas for follow up projects he could help with in the future. Last fall, I approached Rock Hill to reclaim our yard and give it a chance to grow this spring. Josh very candidly cautioned we were quite late in the season to replant the yard but we elected to have him do it anyway ("before" pic attached, muddy and sparse - a result of a year or two of home renovations and poor soils, shady conditions).

Josh brought in an inordinate amount of topsoil and graded the complex contours to promote growth and drainage. This spring, the lawn came in exceeding our expectations. Josh stopped by several times early this growing season, reseeded and addressed particular areas that needed a little more attention.

We couldn't be happier with Rock Hill and Josh, both personally and professionally. His prices are fair and he won't leave a job until you are happy. We have been working together on projects ever since this one.

Josh with Rock Hill went above and beyond with this project. I asked for a level circle area for a fire pit (my yard has a pretty drastic slope) and Josh exceeded my expectations. His work ethic and attention to detail is spot on. After the job was finished he ensured everything was cleaned up and made all repairs needed in the grass. I would recommend for any excavating/landscaping needs. I look forward to working with him on the future.

We removed our above ground pool after 20yrs and needed a restoration of our backyard. This required excavation, fill, grading, top soil and seeding.
