Josh has worked with me on a few interior and exterior needs including photo hanging and vent replacements. Great person - friendly, professional, tidy and good pricing. Highly recommend.

We found Josh through a random online search after moving into a new townhouse. Our build was a rollercoaster due to various reason and we needed someone last minute to set up a few things for us so we could feel a bit at home in the first few days while juggling moving. On the first visit, he arrived promptly and pleasantly. He removed his shoes and came with his own equipment and tarp. He was very clean with his work space, which we appreciated with everything being so new. Mostly, he works FAST. He put together our entertainment system in under an hour. It would have taken us 10 hours and a divorce. He is efficient. So efficient we brought him back to do our backsplash, sink, shelving, chandeliers, fan. There's really nothing he can't seem to do and he's very honest and upfront if he feels like a job can't or shouldn't be done. He's knowledgeable, which was really useful for us as first time homeowners. He's also very pleasant to be around and trustworthy. It's best to give him multiple things to do per visit because he will fly through the list and get them done correctly and promptly. We have a few other things we've been waiting on having him complete for us once spring rolls around. We can't recommend him more.

Working with Sears Handyman Solutions was wonderful. I don't usually write reviews, but this one was worth sharing. The owners name is Greg and he works with his son Brad. Brad does some of the handyman services himself on site. We had a terrible leak in the ceiling that was coming from somewhere in the bathroom upstairs. We had three different plumbers come in to look at it that said they fixed the problem... only to find out a week later the leak was not fixed. Finally, I called Sears Handyman Services and they came out. Brad and his other guy Skip came, placed covers their shoes as not to dirty our carpets and assessed the situation. After a few trips, drywall, and paint they fixed the problem. They sealed our bathroom floor, put up a special waterproof siding, re-caulked the bathroom fixtures, replaced the pipe with a hole in it, and they were very careful to explain to me and show me what they were doing so that I knew I was not getting over charged. The textured paint on the ceiling was matched (very impressive as it was art-deco work), and they even sealed some small holes at no charge. SINCE THEN, we have had no problems and we hired them back for: electrical outlet replacements, new rear door and sealant for cold weather, new locks, other plumbing, and other odd jobs. They are reasonably priced and do great work. Their staff is great, respectful, and very customer service oriented. I recommend them to anyone that needs repairs. In fact, I have recommended them and they did nice work for them too. VERY satisfied. -Ethan

Called and was told to email them a list of improvements needed. I did that, providing detailed pictures of the areas of the home to be improved. I called, Sears denied receiving it. I forwarded to them the email showing they had received it, the first time. They apologized, said they would send me an estimate the next day.... Never happened. This was a week ago. Still waiting. No follow up from Sears.

The process was very quick and inexpensive. It took less than a minute to make a copy if my keys and the lady at the counter was extremely nice.They have all kinds of accessories and kinds of keys. A great experience in general!! Highly recommend

Highly recommend this business. My front door lock would not close 8 at night and I did not want to go to bed with the front door open. The owner showed up within the hour and I had a new lock on my door with very little time spent. I had to change the entire lock and knob and he came with his fan fully equipped with a nice selection of knobs to choose from. I got a beautiful new lock and knob that did not clash with my door. He was friendly, approachable, and by the time he was ready to go, I felt like I had made a new friend. Best of all, I did not end up with sticker shock. The service was honest and reasonably priced. The owner is truly a nice guy! Thanks!

They not only extracted a broken key with ease but were able to re-key my rv lock without a registered key code. Helping me avoid waiting on the manufacture to send me a key saving me time and money. True experts at what they do!

I needed emergency service to open a door to an apartment after being locked out. I was told that noone was available to come, which was very disappointing.

We had locked the keys in our car and had no extra key. Murray Avenue Locksmith came promptly and succeeded in opening the car and making us another key and fob on the spot. This is the second time we’ve used them. They always deliver excellent service. I recommend Murray Avenue Locksmith highly.

I just want to address how unbelievably wonderful Tony was to me. I needed to replace my missing Dodge key fob and he initially quoted me at $400. I was having one of the worst weeks of my absolute life.. I misplaced this darn key over a week ago.. I wasn’t able to take my son to an important ophthalmologist appointment, get groceries for myself or my two children, or get medication from the pharmacy without having transportation… I reached out to my mother in desperation and she literally gave me the very last $230 to her name. She suggested I call around to see if anyone would be able to replace my key and no other companies were able to, so hearing the price of $400.. it was just another blow for the week. Tony returned my call and said he had a Dodge fob that would work despite it not being an original and lowered the price to $350.. unfortunately, when he called back he could tell I was crying and talked the owner to the company and got the price down to $250… when I say that I genuinely believe an angel encouraged Tony and how wonderful God can really work.. I am just so unbelievably grateful for Tony. I had to take the last $20 from my SO, who the biggest reason my mom gave me the last money she had to get away from so I could pay for the his services.. Tony if you see this, I hope you can understand my extreme gratitude and I want to thank you a million more times for being so kind to me. Thank you!!!!!!!!

In addition to being Way over priced the employees have Very Nasty Attitudes as if the are doing You a favor, which is why I took my business elsewhere. Recommend you do Not Use...

I visited this locksmith this afternoon to get a copy of my key. David was incredibly helpful and efficient. The charge for the key copy was super reasonable. I highly recommend this locksmith for anyone in need of their services.

In addition, we had a genuinely enjoyable conversation that truly brightened my day. It's rare to find such personable and friendly service these days, and it made the experience all the more memorable.

They may do great work at Murray Avenue locksmith. Unfortunately, unless you are like Charlie and you find the illusive golden ticket, you may never know. To be clear, this is a review of their customer service and not of their services and products. They list their hours on their website as 11-6 Monday through Thursday. On Wednesday, I went to another locksmith looking to have a key copied. They were open when they said they were, a plus. Unfortunately, they could not copy the type of key I have. Having heard good things about Murray Avenue locksmith, I gave them a call. A gentleman answered the phone. While he wasn't sure if they carried my type of key, he said "we have thousands of blanks, so come over and we can have a look at it." This was around 12. I told him I would be on my way over and drove straight to the store arriving 20 minutes after speaking with him on the phone. The first thing I noticed was the "closed" sign in the door. Also, the door was locked. I called back and the same gentleman answered the phone. After a few moments, he told me that they had to close the store due to a locksmith emergency and no one would be there until the end of the day and that I should come back the next day. I asked again to clarify and he rudely said, no one will be there until tomorrow. This was odd, especially considering I just spoke with him and the store is technically opened until 6 pm according to their website. So, having already wasted my time once and not getting a simple key copied, I attempted to come back the next day, Thursday, like he told me to. And what was I encountered with? The store closed again! According to the employee on the phone, due to locksmith emergencies it would be closed all day. Why not try again the next day, he said.

To conclude my review, as I stated above, Murray Avenue Locksmith may have great products and do a fantastic job. But unless you are one of the lucky few who comes in when the stars align and pigs fly, you may never know. This is all especially comical when you claim on the phone that you "don't know many locksmiths who have storefronts like we do" as a benefit of your business.

I have utilized their services multiple times, and it has consistently been an exceptional experience. They consistently demonstrate the ability to resolve any issue, are exceptionally friendly and easy to communicate with, and consistently deliver high-quality results. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

called them in a panic because my keys were locked in my car. just moved the area so I didn't know which borough I lived in but I did have my actual address including the city. The representative made it so difficult for me! challenging me on the phone asking me if I live in the Southside or westside. I continue to tell him I just moved here and I only have my address. This is not a place of business you want to call when you're in a panic. This was so unacceptable I just hung up! I called Capital Locksmith Pittsburgh and I just really had to thank them for their phone service after dealing with the representative from this place!!!! THANK YOU Capital Locksmith Pittsburgh!!!!
