These people must be among the best arborists in Pittsburgh — with the most advanced equipment (“The Spider”) that can be moved into small spaces, then unfolded into a large, quiet machine. The also had skilled climbers who pruned all of the dead branches high off a huge Sycamore tree without batting an eye. Was impressed and grateful.

Ryan and team did a great job with our property and our neighbors for many trees on our property line. I would recommend them for any job out there when it comes to trees. Could not be happier with their work.

We had a pine tree fall in our back yard. I called Ted at Allstar Arbor Tree Services after speaking to my insurance company. Ted came out and gave me a very fair price for removing the tree. Ted and his helper removed the old tree and did a nice job cleaning up, I plan on having them back to remove another old pinetree in my yard.

I highly recommend Allstar Arbor. I had some large branches overhanging my yard from my neighbor's trees that I wanted cut down. From start to finish, Allstar was excellent. (1) My initial phone call was answered by a real person; (2) I got an appt for the next day to look at what needed done; (3) the estimate was fair for the work being done; (4) I was informed when they planned to come, and then timely informed when the day was changed because of inclement weather; (5) they showed up on time; (6) they cleaned up all branches, twigs, etc; (7) the estimated time of 2 hrs to complete was accurate (actual time: 2 hrs 15 min); and (8) Ted was a pleasure to work with: pleasant, professional and dependable. I will definitely use Allstar Arbor for any future tree services.

Ted was very responsive and communicated promptly with a bid and setting up our appointment. They did a fantastic job trimming and pruning our large trees. The trees look great! They were respectful of our property and cleaned up thoroughly. I highly recommend AllStar Arbor; Ted did a great job for a fair price.

From start to finish, it was a great experience working with Ted and his team. Ted kept me up to date at every step of the project, they were on time, were very careful with our property, did a great job and the price was half of other estimates. I cannot recommend Allstar Arbor Tree Services enough!

If I could give a higher rating I would as Ted from Allstar was fantastic. We had one tree very close to our house that needed to be cut down. He got back to me very quickly once I submitted my quote and went out next day to check out our tree. We were on a bit of a time crunch as we are putting on a new roof next week. I actually was the one to slow down the process and I was waiting on other quotes - Allstar had the best price no questions. When I approved the invoice he went out the next morning and cut it down and cleaned it all up. Didn’t realize the previous owners left bags of wood cuttings / brush that he also disposed for us. Great service all around and so thankful to Ted!!

I wish I could give 10 stars!! Northwood Tree Care is outstanding in their professionalism, commitment to safety, deep knowledge and true dedication to caring for trees. I learned that our wild cherry tree is one of the most biodiverse trees, hosting numerous birds and bugs. I'm glad they are extending the life of this amazing tree, while also mitigating further risk by pruning damaged and weakened limbs. Thank you!

Professional, kind, neat, communicative, safe and I love supporting them by passing on the accolades. They were as interesting to watch as an adult as it is for children. A seperate thing but an equally as awesome thing is that they aren't a men-only crew. This small but mighty team consists of maybe more, but those I had interaction with was the owner, a guy, a woman who cut down the trees and a super easy to book and ask questions to, woman who is the main person besides the owner with whom you ask questions. I'll hire them again in an instant the next time I need any tree care or cutting. 11 stars out of 10.

Smaller tree service company that does excellent work at a very reasonable price.A three person crew,including the owner, trimmed and shaped a large pin oak on my front lawn. They arrived at the scheduled time and date and made sure that we were happy with the end result including clean up.
