Do yourself a favor and hit Sewickley Creek greenhouse instead. I recently bought eggplant from Chapons on a whim. I should have noticed they were infested with aphids and another bug I have yet to identify. Now they have infested all our other plants that were started from seed. Here I am hand washing every plant and treating when the others were in superb shape before. Not worth it

What a great local nursery and garden shop - great that they are open year-round and have good prices! Always awesome to stop in and see what's new - especially with spring approaching!

As a frequent visitor for all my gardening needs, I can confidently say they offer a truly excellent experience. Their selection of soil is always top-notch, and I've found a wonderful variety of plants every time I've stopped in to stock up. I especially appreciate that their herb and starter plant selection leans towards American-grown varieties, which is a nice touch. While they may not have a huge international selection in that area, the quality and range of what they do offer are outstanding. If you're just starting your gardening journey or are a seasoned green thumb, Ponds Greenhouse and Supplies is an amazing shop to get you going. Highly recommended!

I like their native plant sel3ction and have put many of them in my yard. My only complaint is that they dont stop me from buying everything 😆

Lovely plants and reasonable prices. The best selection of Fox Farm soil I’ve seen in the area.

This is the best place to find fun exotic plants. Citrus, tropical pitchers, sundews. They also have hard to find herbs like bay laurel.

We get our herbs, flowers, Christmas lights, and Christmas trees there. Everyone, especially the younger workers are always so nice and helpful. Support local!

Great selection. Friendly service. They carry a large selection of annuals, perennials, gardening etc.

By far the BEST greenhouse in the Pittsburgh area!
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Huge selection of perennials, annuals, fruit & veg, house plants... anything that you can imagine.
They have a wide variety of all of the species of plants that they carry. I have never seen so many varieties of hydrangea or rhododendron plants before.
The perennial plant section is full of a bounty of native plants! I was so excited to see all of the natives. All of the plants appeared to be in good health. I did not see any evidence of pests or neglect.
There is a huge amount of gardening supply as well. I loved the bulk bird and animal feed section. If you are an avid bird watcher like myself, you'll have to stop by. Tons of speciality products. Great layout. I spent hours in here and will be back many more times this season!

Always great selections on plants and trees for your yard. Also good selection of house plants, I get a majority of my air plants from here!!

Brian was very professional and punctual. Delivered exactly what he promised and quoted us. He rebuilt a portion of our driveway retaining wall that collapsed and it looks better than how it was before. He answered all of our questions and was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Bryan was fantastic to work with on a repair of a house sewer trap and grading of our front & back yard. He was very direct with us throughout the entire process and easy to communicate with. He and his team finished the work completely to the scope of the project and in a timely manner. The price for the work was competitive and he went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied.

Bryan and his team were great to work with, very professional. He was able to repair a sinking portion of our driveway and did a great job matching it to blend in with the existing pad. Our repair was on the smaller side of things, but Bryan was still willing to come work on it (in fact he was the only one willing to even quote it). Because of that, in the future when we have other larger projects, he will be our first call.

Pittsburgh Excavation exceeded my expectations. They came when they were supposed to, got 2 Walls built right on schedule, the Walls look great, they cleaned up to the point that you couldn't even tell that a major rebuild was just done on my property, and the Owner Bryan couldn't have been more professional and a nicer guy. I highly recommend their Company.
