Eric was great! He was really knowledgeable, honest, and focused on the health of my plants -- not making money. My old tree care company usually recommended spraying, but Eric explained that the goal is to have resilient plants, and that in this case spraying would be counterproductive. He spent a lot of time educating me, and left me with a recommendation to be better about watering my shrubs. He wasn't at all pushy. Total bill: $0.00. I will definitely be calling him again next year!

I had a young tree planted in the last few years that started browning. I looked up a few different tree care companies but Northwood was rated the highest and all the customers were happy with their service and follow-ups.

They recommended a root excavation, which was recently completed, and had a detailed explanation of what they had done and what to look out for moving forward. Overall I was very happy with the communication and service provided and would definitely hire them again.

Northwood Tree Care did a fantastic job pruning my trees. The staff was very easy to work with. Eric was very knowledgeable and explained everything that they were going to do beforehand and showed me the completed work after. Northwood took some reduction cuts out of a very cherished Magnolia tree in my front yard. They are very well-educated and trained arborists! They did an excellent work quickly and professionally. They trim with the tree and surrounding ecology in mind.

Great crew, all work fully explained, good cleanup, worked fast and put everything back in place that had to be moved. Arch checked in at start of job, answered all our questions, as did the crew as the day went on. Highly recommend this company as tree artists who clearly are dedicated to preservation as much as they are to trimming trees as necessary and removal of dead material. Northwood cleaned up mature and much loved huge pin oak in our Pt Breeze back yard, cleaned up a semi-mature norway maple in front and cleared a dead tree on our garden lot. The guys had a tough tree removal job (XL tree close to power lines/on a hill) at our commercial building and they did a great job. We have worked with them for both residential and commercial tree removal and I highly recommend them. Kind staff and processional.

I had a 60ft dead evergreen 5 feet from my house and Fred and his guys had it gone in 4 hours, cleaned up and everything. Very nice, polite bunch of guys and I couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was.

Tripoli Tree Care were so professional from the estimate to the great work they did removing a tree in a very difficult location. I was so impressed with their service especially during an extremely busy time after a storm that brought down many trees all over the city. I can’t say enough about their skill and professionalism! Our experience with Tripoli Tree Care was excellent. We first saw work they were performing nearby, and consequently contacted the proprietor – Gabriel Newman. Within a couple days, he paid a visit to discuss our project, and provide an estimate. We appreciated his “can do” approach to our variety of needs, and the fact that he had qualified arborists on team. We thought his bid was fair for all that we needed done: 1. Remove (cut flush to ground) 1 mature arbor vitae. 2. Trim and prune 3 mature maples. 3. Full grooming of 31 arbor vitae in back yard. 4. Shape and top 2 large arbor vitae at front of house. 5. Maintenance of a couple dozen perennials and shrubs 6. Full clean up and haul away of debris. Gabriel makes great use of technology to document and manage the project, and guarantee that nothing is overlooked. On the project date, the team arrived on time. They were friendly, and performed the work with great attention to detail. Near the end of the job, without hesitation, they were totally responsive to our quality control requests. We think Tripoli Tree Care is a quality operation providing maximum value, and they have our full recommendation.

The gentlemen that came to do the job were very professional, courteous and polite they did an awesome job and I could’ve never asked for anything better instead of a five star review I give them actually a 10 star review I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone thank you thank you thank you again.

I highly recommend Tripoli Tree Care. The guys were very respectful, professional, and friendly. I had gotten seven estimates, and theirs was close to my lowest. I went with Gabriel because of my phone conversations with him. Gabriel was very punctual and listened to my concerns about the tree. The job was top-notch, and they even cleaned up the sawdust!
