We chose the Perkins Team for tree removal/thinning from the home we just purchased and they delivered! They showed up promptly in the morning with a five people which made the job go fast. Hilly terrain wasn’t an issue since they have track pads for the cherry picker and rubber tracked equipment for getting out heavy logs. My wife loved how they cleaned up tree limbs and assisted with other downed tree limbs that just recent fell. They came recommended from another family in Ehrman Farms and I’ve already recommended them to my neighbors.

I was very nervous to have a tree company come to our home and remove some very large dangerous trees but after searching I found PERKINS TREE SERVICE and Tom the owner came over to give me a quote. Finally i felt very comfortable after he explained the process he would use to strategically remove without harming my home/shed/barn/and playground area. They used expert techniques and top notch equipment to not only complete the job on schedule and on budget but they also cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. Tom came over for an estimate very promptly and once I got things squared away on my end, he scheduled me in pretty much next day for service. Guys came over and got the job done promptly and professionally. Will definitely be calling them again if I need any other trees trimmed!

For the initial estimate, Tom came to our home to assess the trees we were concerned about but also took the time to take a look at others in the yard that were potential hazards, diseased, or dying. He made a recommendation and we opted to plan for a day rate with his crew. We received other estimates but decided to go with Tom due to his knowledge, fair pricing, and excellent communication.

When the weather improved, Tom and his crew were there bright and early on the expected day to get to work. They moved quickly and safely to remove all the trees we discussed. The crew used large machinery to remove the trees and worked to grind the stumps. For a small period of time the yard looked a bit squished from the heavy trucks but now that summer is full swing you don’t notice that they were ever here.

We were very pleased with Perkins Tree Service. We had several mature pin oaks on 2 properties. During the estimate, Tom took the time to review our wishes as well as make suggestions. Once the work was scheduled, Tom and crew, showed up early and was able to complete the entire job in one day. Many of the trees had dead branches and were encroaching around the house as we had been putting off pruning for years. Tom took out all the dead wood, raised the crown and restored the shape of the trees. Great clean up and a job well done.

We had a large maple tree that was difficult to remove due to rotting and accessibility issues. Perkins worked with us and the neighbors to develop a plan to safely take down the tree. They were always responsive to calls and email, prompt on the day of the work, and thoroughly cleaned up after the tree removal. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Tom and his team came out today to take down a chestnut tree and did a fantastic job! The tree was touching our house and was very close to the fence and they did the job without causing any damage to either. They cleaned up everything nicely and were very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend them and would be happy to contract them again! Thanks guys!

Doing business with Perkins Tree Service was outstanding – starting with Tom’s visit to our home to see our requirements and bid the project, to performing the services. We liked his suggestions and loved his competitive bid. When our day approached, he gave us a “heads up”, and arrived in a timely manner on the day of the work. He and his crew were amazing – so efficient and friendly. Great to have the “boss” on site. Clean up was spot on. We felt as though he and his crew performed beyond the original scope of the project, so we added about 15% to the payment. On top of that, after the fact and at our request, Tom sent a crew back to perform additional pruning/shaping that we wanted. We are 100% satisfied, and without hesitation recommend Perkins Tree Service.

Tom and his team did a great job dropping and cleaning up two large oak trees for us, despite the extreme heat. He was responsive throughout the process, qualified, and fair.

If you are looking for a company that you can count on to show up and do an excellent job, look no further. If you call around for estimates after receive a quote from Perkins you are either wasting your time or have an unreasonable idea of how much tree services cost. VERY reasonable pricing and they leave the job site in excellent condition!

Tom Perkins is extremely professional and has a great crew. They were timely, an amazing value, and very courteous. If I had more trees needing taken care of I would absolutely call them back, but I will highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Perkins Tree Service recently did some clean up work and removal of dead trees at my home. We were very pleased with responsiveness during planning, and communication in getting the work scheduled and completed. The crew was efficient and did a great job on clean up.

We have had really bad experiences with other tree companies in the past, but we were super pleased with Perkins Tree Service. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable, he gave us the best price quote out of several and kept us updated when weather kept delaying services. They cut down two huge trees for us (while taking care to try to protect our lawn from their equipment) and took care of a huge limb on another tree that came down two days before their arrival and wasn’t part of the original plan. We would highly recommend Tom’s crew and will definitely use his services in the future.

Perkins Tree Service removed a very large, old tree from our property that was very close to our house as well as another tree. Tom is exceptional. From the day we called, he came out to give us an estimate that same day. Quoted us a very reasonable price and did a phenomenal job. Took only one day to remove both trees and grind stumps. Cleaned up nicely after the job was over. Has the skill, equipment, and team to get any job done and pricing can't be beat. Would very highly recommend Tom to anyone.

Perkins Tree Service removed two giant trees from my yard one of which was over hanging my house. They did it so quick and carefully. The cleaned everything up, hauled the branches away & ground the stumps down. The crew was super professional & I highly recommend them for any tree service needs!

Wanted to share how great Perkins Tree Service is. We have used them twice and we are more than satisfied. Very careful removing limbs above my neighbors fence and potting shed. When I told my neighbor they were coming back to do more work, he even mentioned how careful they had been. They really cleanup before they leave. They were very friendly and helpful.

Tom and his team have removed 3 trees for us over the past few years - some much bigger jobs this year and they are incredible. They are fast and leave your property so clean. We’ll never recommend anyone else!

Perkins did a fantastic job taking down our silver maple in the back. We have zero access to the yard from the road so the fence had to come out. Got both trees down in under 4 hours then came back later and grinded out both stumps. The rest of my yard was still in great shape and even saved the grass where the fence pole was. Price was the best one we received out of 5 other companies. Don't hesitate to call them.
