We had a house fire with tons of water damage. Half our contents were lost and the other half damaged. Every item in our 5BR house needed to be itemized and then stored, cleaned or discarded. It was devastating, but would have been impossible but for the excellent help of GS Jones. They were friendly, efficient, organized, responsive, and most importantly, understanding of what we were going through. It clearly wasn't their first rodeo. This excellent service continued for the 15 months it took us to get back into our house. For the sake of your sanity, do yourself a favor and use GS Jones if you ever find yourself in such an unfortunate situation.

Great company. Timely and do great work

Had a great experience with GS Jones. We were getting water on 2 levels from an ice dam. They responded late in the evening on Saturday after Christmas to help us thru a tough situation. Clinton did an awesome job helping with initial issue and coordinating all the recovery activities/repairs. Team kept to schedule, showed up as committed and got us back in a good place in a short period of time. Absolutely recommend their services

This place is so in professional it's not even funny they have been working on hour house for 15 months most times they have 1 person there working two Fridays ago we was on our way in and got a call from neighbor fire trucks were there we go in and we found out from a former police officer that one of there crew overdosed on the job in our house we've found beer hidden on the porch the quilty if work is very poor instead of putting right sized windows in they put smaller windows in on put furring strips around windows they didn't even make the uniformed one upp above window one below window just look terrible and the appraiser is so unprofessional it's crazy he talks to us like we're garbage and all he does is tell you what you want to here and there is so much more I will post the rest later please do your self a favor and don't use this place if you don't have to we need to turn into better business bureau which I'm gone to do

We used this company to rebuild our house it was all smoke and heat damage they Don was who we delt with who did nothing but lie they were 8 months behind schedule and the quality of work was very poor my windows had to be removed and replaced 3 times and still are not right. They did the main bathroom wrong no shower doors used the cheapest bathtub and shower enclosure they could buy at Home Depot they I should say Don told us nothing but lies we had 4 project managers w the last being the best ask for Sean he does a wonderful job don't waste your time w the owner he also lies we had 5 electricians 4 project managers we got no construction clean this company should be shut down. Do yourself a favor look at reviews before you hire it's been 18 months since our fire we had 2 rooms w actual fire damage and the rest smoke and heat damage we were told qq months to be back in a year and 7 months ago.....please be careful with Don and Lyod the owner Sean walked into an awful mess and worked with us to get things right and back in our home....If you use GSJones don't say you weren't warned and be careful. Anytime I referred people to use G.S. Jones they have been pleased with the prompt attention and professional work manners.

We had a basement water leak that went under our new synthetic wood flooring. I discovered it on a Friday night about 8PM and by 10 someone came to assess the scope of the damage. With my consent the company sent a team out to my house that worked during the night to take up the wet flooring and remove the wet portions of the drywall. They set up drying equipment to run over the weekend. Several days later after I had my plumber come to repair and replace the faulty valves, GS Jones team came back to repair the drywall, replace the flooring and paint the 2 walls that were repaired. The workmanship was exceptional. The floor and walls were done so well that no one would know anything ever happened. Excellent work and wonderful professional people.

I recently had another leak in my basement as a result of the freeze and thaw of the weather. GS Jones arrived within an hour to address the problem which did not required anything too involved to repair. They were able to evaluate the extent of the damage within a very short time. The company is consistent and thorough. I highly recommend this company.

G.S. Jones was instrumental in helping us recover and renovate following a significant water line break. They took great measures to complete the restoration within the tight time-frame that we had before residents moved in. Their work was professional, high-quality, detail-oriented, and complete. A devastating fire engulfed part of my apartment around midnight the day after Thanksgiving. Frightened, shaken and lost, I was not sure where to turn. Fortunately, someone recommended that as soon as I complete my insurance claim that the next step was to hire an emergency restoration company. I hired G.S. Jones to help me clean up the damage from the fire. By 8:30 am the next morning I was meeting face to face with one of their managers who explained the steps needed to get me back to normal---and there were many, many steps, many of which I had no idea were needed/important. There is a clear sequence of what needed to be done and dedicated teams would be scheduled in a timely manner to take me through the entire process. The next day five people came and began a multi-week process of cleaning, airing, disinfecting, repairing my apartment. Professionals were brought to repair walls, ceilings, patch, prime, etc. A team cleaned to content of every room, leaving no object untouched. Large exhaust fans were brought to air out my place for several weeks. Drycleaners, furniture cleaning people, painters, wallpaper hangers, an art restoration company, oriental rug cleaners, electricians, company to clean my blinds, etc., all came through the apartment at the appropriate intervals to do their part. All along, the project manager(s) were on top of everything. My phone calls were returned promptly and they were also particularly useful in being a conduit with the insurance adjuster. There is not one person/contractor/ that they brought to the job that was not professional, caring and attentive. At a time when I felt most vulnerable, they helped me put the pieces back together again. It never felt transactional. The human touch was always there. It’s a deliberate and slow process and at time I was impatient with all these steps but, in the end, it was done with care and attention. I would highly recommend G.S. Jones. At a time when I needed to cede control to the professionals so that I can take care of my own emotional needs and deal with the trauma of a fire, they were there and took care of business.

I used GS Jones after a house fire with severe smoke damage throughout the entire structure. I can not say enough good about GS Jones and how professional, responsive, and friendly the entire team was throughout the process. Greg, Anthony, and Derek were a pleasure to deal with, very friendly, honest, and professional. What was initially estimated to be a 12 month project was completed by GS Jones in just 6 months time. Anthony and Derek did an amazing job helping us reconfigure the kitchen and 2 baths, as well as give suggestions on certain updates we were hoping to make during the renovation, and areas where we could save money on certain projects. Greg was especially helpful in facilitating the conversation and process with insurance and making sure that everything went seamless. They were very professional, easy to work with, and I was always able to get ahold of them any time of the day. GS Jones made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it and up to our standards. We received constant follow up on the progress and were always contacted if any issue arose or they had any questions about what we wanted done. GS Jones even facilitated our move back into our home, supplying the truck and about 10 workers to help pack and move our belongings back into the house. I would recommend GS Jones to my family/friends and anyone who has a restoration need. Truly can not say enough good about this company and Greg, Anthony, and Derek.
