We had an excellent experience working with Doing It Right Roofing. Starting with our salesperson, Zach, to Brianna in the office, to Jose's work team, to Matt as project manager, everyone was extremely professional and easy to work with. We were very impressed with the roof installation crew. We would highly recommend Doing It Right if you are looking to replace your roof!

Complete lack of customer service. My roof was installed December 2014. They came out twice during the 10 years warranty period. Once for a section of roof they “forgot” to replace, and then again 5 years later for some storm damage. After these latest April storms, I lost a some of my shingles. Knowing I’m out of labor warranty, I called Doing It Right, to have them repair the roof that they installed, fully expecting to pay out of pocket for the repairs. It wasn’t a lot of damage, so it’s not worth it to me to make a homeowners insurance claim. I called, and was told, despite the fact that I was a previous customer with a roof they installed, that they don’t repair storm damage, repair leaks or perform inspections. That I would have to call my insurance company. As for the 50 years warranty period shingles rated for 105mph winds, I would have to deal with the manufacturer (Owens Corning) for any warranty. Me willing to pay out of pocket meant nothing. They want your big money to replace your roof, but could care less about you, for the occasional repair. My little money isn’t green enough for them.

I recently had my siding, gutters, soffit, and fascia done by doing it right. They also replaced a kitchen window and a garage window for me. Everything from start to finish was great even when there were a couple little hiccups in the process. Chris was always super responsive, friendly, and answered all of my questions. The crews were always very respectful and efficient while working on my house. Chris and Derek both made sure that I was happy with everything before they closed the job. Clean up was perfect too! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good and honest company to come do work on their home. Everyone I came into contact with during the whole process was awesome! I will definitely use them again if needed!

The process started meeting with Neil,who explained everything thoroughly and was extremely pleasant. The work began just several days later and the entire job was completed in about 6 hours. They did an excellent job and cleanup was great. They even took my old ugly TV antenna down for me.I was pleased from start to finish and would highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Doing it Right Roofing. I primarily communicated with Dan and John in the New Kensington area, both of whom were great.

I had just bought a house and found out shortly after that I was having issues with water ingress through the metal roof to the old shingle roof that was left underneath it.

Since the previous home owner did not have any contact info for who had installed the metal roof, I had Dan come out and give me a quote for removing the current metal roof as well as the old shingle roof underneath, and then replacing with a new shingle roof, as well as adding gutters in a couple areas and some fascia in a few spots. The quote was significantly less than I thought it would be for my 1400 sqr. ft. house.

The work was delayed for a little as we had sub zero temps with wind/snow/ ice for a few weeks, but as soon as temperature returned to above 32 degrees and ice had an opportunity to melt, Doing it Right came out and completed almost all the work in 1 day with John as the foreman for my site. The only reason it wasn't finished in one day was they were a little short on shingles, but they came out and finished up the next morning, and cleaned everything up very well.

The roof looked great but there was one small honest mistake. They had forgotten to vent the bathroom vents to the exterior of the roof. I let them know right away and John apologized and worked with my schedule to quickly come out himself on a Sunday to fix this, which took about an hour.

With everything all done, I now have a great looking new roof that I am confident in, and a great warranty and company to back it up.

Was happy with the company 9 years ago when a new roof was installed. Have called at least 2x this year to have the roof checked and gutters looked at - signed a release for them to come to the property. Never heard anything more. Very disappointed.

Our experience with Doing it Right has been great! Not only was the installation process for our roof managed very well, when we needed additional support after the installation was completed (on two occasions), the staff was responsive and effective. In particular, Derek was outstanding! Derek got back to us over several instances to find times convenient for us to have him fix an issue in our attic. Derek has been prompt, courteous, and went well above our expectations on multiple occasions. His commitment to his work and to providing the best customer service possible is impeccable. Highly recommend Doing It Right for any roofing and siding work. I submitted a request with them, responded within 24 hours on the damage of my siding panels, they came out, gave a reasonable estimate, within 2 weeks they repaired it. Big shout out to Derek, made the whole process easy. Would use them again!

The experience with doing it right was easy. I called 724-New-roof. Talked to a nice lady on the phone to schedule a roof replacement estimate. She told me an estimator/sales rep would call me soon. Zachery called me within 2 hours and scheduled the estimate for the next business day. When Zachery arrived he was on time, actually a few minutes early, very professional and did a thorough inspection of the roof and gave us an estimate. After seeing the roof the cost, we asked about gutters also. He put a total for the job together and shared all of the information about warranty, insurance, how the process would go. We decided to sign for the price given. As we were told after the three day right of cancellation we would receive an email about the next steps. The emails came promptly. Next the project manager, Colton called me and told us when they would be able to do the job. He told us what time the crew would be here, when he would be there and how long he thought the roof would take to be complete. While he was on the site Colton was paying attention to every detail to ensure everything was being done properly and safely. After completion of the job Colton came back to the house the next day to inspect the roof and make sure everything was done correctly. I still haven’t found a nail in my yard from the job, my dogs paws haven’t either. I would recommend this company to anyone needing help with a roof and gutters. Ever person I dealt with was fantastic. I’ll be back for siding in a year or two!

Doing it right roofing replaced my roof about 10 years ago. It has started leaking so i called about the waranty. New owner said i would need to call the old owner as they dont cover his old warranties. Maybe they just bought the name and not the assets but either way thats not right. Very unprofessional

shitty company, gave me the run around for six weeks and then told me that my warranty is no longer valid because they were purchased in April and the warranties no longer transfer to new homeowners, even though I bought this house years ago and it states the warranty is transferrable in that contract.
don't use this company if you want a roof that lasts longer than 8 years.

WOW...We're SO GLAD that we called "Doing It Right"! Their name REALLY DOES "Say It All"! From start to finish, they treated us with respect...they took the time to patiently educate and explain what our roof and siding options were...They did EXACTLY what they we agreed to, with incredible care, expertise, and attention to the smallest details! Roof installed in 2018. Leaking right through the center. I have invoice numbers, warranty numbers, all receipts, etc. I was told over the phone that Doing it Right Roofing does not have a small repair team and can do nothing to help me. Not sure why any roofing warranties exist. These were not cheap - composite shingles. Less than 8 years of use out of a $10k roof.

We had Josh come out for a siding and flashing repair. He arrived promptly and did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed safely and with a high degree of quality. Would call again for his service on my siding or roofing!

Doing It Right Roofing came to our rescue after a highly recommended but very unscrupulous roofer did not complete the job he started. Upon inspection, Doing It Right realized they had to redo the entire roof. We were fortunate to deal with three of the most competent professionals---Zach Elliott, Ahmed Rayzah and Derek Hofmann. All three went above and beyond to solve any problems encountered and to accommodate our special concerns.

They did a great job on my roof. The price was the best out of the 8 quotes I received. I was having new siding installed in 2 weeks and the salesman promised me that the roof would be done before the siding started. I was skeptical, but they moved quickly and finished the job in 1 day. They also removed and old non-functional chimney and installed under shingle vents to properly ventilate my attic.

Doing It Right was awesome. Roof and siding install was super clean. Both Zacks (sales and project manager) were fantastic to deal with. Project is beautiful.

They came out and did a great job.. gave me great tips on what to do next very helpful, very friendly, and efficient, exceeded my expectations. 👏 thank you again!

Yesterday (6/14) had my new replaced by these men and can't say enough on how they worked..fast effective..started about 730 am and by noon it was completed. 6 men just killed it..so impressive how they got the job done..split level home so pretty much an up and down roof..but still..50 yr. Guaranteed..lifetime work..price was the best of maybe 4 other companies. 12 mon.free financing..highly recommend
