Thomas Greenage from A1 electric calling me a pain in the a$$ on the phone due to time scheduling was all I needed to know about this company and why I will never recommend them or use them.

He inspected a property for me and he was able to schedule me quickly and was very professional and courteous. I have added Tom to my list of recommended contractors - I was very pleased!

Every experience we have had with A-1 Electric has been exceptional. They do the job right and make sure safety is a priority! From simple jobs to complex jobs they do it right! Highly recommended!!

Driving south on Woodlane Road 5/13/24 at around 7:45-7:55 I was nearly run off of the road by an A-1 Electric dual rear wheel truck going nearly 100 miles an hour. I was unaware that these drivers were allowed to drive like that. When i attempted to call and complain it went straight to voicemail multiple times. I do not care if these were the last electricians on the planet Earth, I’d rather electrocute myself than hire this company. It appears that this is not the first time after reading other reviews.

Thomas was great, very professional, gave great advice. If any electrical work is needed call these guys. A+ work!!!!

I was getting quotes for electricians to inspect my apartment. When I called him for a quote, he cursed me out for exploring other quotes. I am glad I did not work with him.

I called A-1 electric for an electrical inspection and they were very responsive and able to come out the same day and were extremely polite. Their customer service, quality of work and responsiveness is second to none! I would call Tom for anything I ever need when it comes to electrical work. A-1 is A+!

A-1 electric really helped me out when I was in a tough situation because a contractor didn’t get permits for the work being down. I called Friday night and got a call the next morning about doing the inspection. He talk to me over the phone and had me send him some picture so when he came out to inspect that everything would be to code. He made it as easy as he could for me and after that has guided me on another electrical project. If you need an inspection I would highly recommend. He’s more than fair and helps as much as he can.

Used A-1 electric for Peco under writer certification for a new service and meter request and also for rough electrical inspection for Darby borough on my investment property. Tom was friendly and courteous; has great customer service, very reliable.

Tom came out super quickly to help me solve a difficult electrical wiring situation, when we were in a timing pinch. He solved the problem efficiently and was explicit about what he was doing. I am very happy with the work, knowing it’s been fixed the right way. I look forward to using A-1 again in the future!

Tom was rude and unprofessional. Couldn’t be bothered to answer a phone call. Didn’t like that we had questions. Called us from several different numbers. Told us to find someone else when we were hesitant to pay him without any documentation or invoice.

Warning: Be cautious of this inspector. Excessive charges and deliberate failed inspections were major issues.
They charged $500 per visit, well above the industry standard of $125. It became clear they intentionally caused failed inspections to make multiple return visits necessary.
Communication was extremely challenging, with minimal responsiveness and occasional rudeness. Due to these issues, I switched to a different company mid-project.
Avoid this inspector and find a more reliable and fairly priced professional for a smoother inspection process

Trying to sell a house in Falls Township Pennsylvania is blocked at every conceivable step because the Township likes to play God! Getting that out of the way I can tell you after exhaustive searching and researching having your "ELECTRICAL PANEL CERTIFIED" is not an easy arrangement to make, unless you call A-1 Electric.

I finally searched for an "ELECTRICAL UNDERWRITER" and A-1 Electric was the top listing. I love Google! I called the 800 number and was greeted by Thomas Greenage. He was polite, professional and assured me that he could get me EXACTLY what I needed to satisfy the township. He was able to make room for me the very next day.

Tom sent me a message with a time window, confirmed, and on the day of the service he sent me a message updating the time window and it was still within the original time frame! That's CUSTOMER SERVICE! When he arrived he was pleasant and courteous and got right to work. He inspected the electrical system outside as well as inside and told me the only correction I would need to make when I packed out.

Whether you need a pre-sale inspection or a post sale inspection and repair you will not go wrong calling A-1 Electrical. Tom and his crew are TRUE professionals in every sense of the word!

I had an inspector come out from A 1. I believe his name was Tom . He was very professional, attentive, and informational on exactly what and why things needed to be done. Any questions asked were answered and explained very well. I got a great sense of integrity dealing with the inspector and will be useing A 1 for any electrical needs in the future. 100% recommend this company.
