Our 20+ year old generator died during a 2 day power outage...We contacted New London Electric to install our replacement. They were fantastic throughout the process. Our installers, Scott and Duane were amazing. They explained the process and timing for the installation, reviewed everything after install and were finished much sooner than expected. Tony did a great job replacing our old Tesla Gen 2 charger and putting in a new Gen 3 Tesla Universal charge with J1772. A previous storm probably blew out our last one and it was 1 month out of warranty thru Tesla (ouch!). We opted to get surge protectors installed on our systems to avoid the issue again. Also protect our other expensive electrical appliances from electrical surges that are happening a lot this summer! I recommend folks reach out to New London Electric soon to do the same. The cost to install outweigh what we have lost recently due to these surges. Tony clearly new what he was doing very smart and personable.

I just had New London install a whole-house Generac Generator for me. I can't say enough about the professional job that Scott and Dwayne did. They arrived on time and finished quickly. They were neat and highly skilled electricians. Nice work New London and Thank you.

Anthony was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and helped us out with all of our electrical needs. We installed 4 new fans and recess lighting which he was on time and completed it to perfection. Will always go back with these guys.

I needed to replace my fluorescent ceiling light in my kitchen with recessed lights. The scheduler got me on their schedule within four days. Had an estimate done a few weeks ago. It was a small job, but they didn't laugh or try to over sell me. They provided an estimate quickly. The electrician came today to complete the job. So, I had an electrical situation Thursday (Sept 4, 2025). Some of my upstairs bathroom outlets and my upstairs AC thermostat went dead. AC would not run and zI thought it was related to the loss of power in the bathroom so I called New London hoping to get someone out that week or early next. They had a tech at my door a few hours later that SAME DAY. Will said that, normally, electricians dont handle AC problems but he said he would look into the bathroom loss of power and see if he could find a solution. He checked and fixed the power to the bathroom but that didnt fix the AC. He might have dectected my stress at not finding a solution to the power to the AC so he looked over possible solutions for that. He asked if there was an emergency switch for the AC upstairs and I said yes, so he suggested we try that and, sure enough, that was the issue! The cleaning ladies must have turned it off by accident while dusting. AC back on family happy again. Thanks Will for going the extra mile! New London has a customer for life now.

I would definitely recommend New London Electric to friends and family. They Arrived on time, explained all work that was needed and explained all work completed. Had a transfer switch to the fuse box and exterior plug-in port for a whole house generator. The best quote for the work. Will definitely use New London Electric again!

I had Scott, Dwayne, and Chris out today to install my generator and associated equipment. They were all really friendly, very knowledgeable and had all their gear setup quickly to do the install. Cleaned up great afterwards and spent time with me going through the operation and troubleshooting of the system. They worked with my on my power out time too as it was a work day which I really appreciated. Really happy with this service and crew!

Paul did a great job installing our EV charger in our garage. He was on time, has a good personality, did quality work at a fair price. Would definitely recommend New London Electric.

Had a lightning strike take out multiple items in my house and created quite a mess. Called New London Electric and asked them to come out to check a list of items involving electric. They were incredibly quick to come out and look at everything I had issues with and fix what needed fixing. Paul, the on-site electrician, suggested I may want to think about a whole house surge protector. Was not a high pressure salesman sell, just a simple and friendly suggestion. Told him I didn’t know much about them so he showed me one, explained how it works, showed me how it would connect to the breaker box and told me the installed price. I thought about it for a couple minutes then told him to set me up with another appointment to install it and he offered to do it right then. Could not be happier with the very quick service we received today and very happy with the price they charged me. It’s easy to see why they have a 5 star rating. THANK YOU New London Electric.
