We hired Shock Construction to remodel our family room and kitchen island. We provided Steve with a photo of a fire place and storage cabinets/mantel and he took the time to put together an outstanding design, build plan, and estimate. The design team helped us with style choices and colors. The project came in on time and budget! I highly recommend Shock Construction.

We made a bathroom out of a laundry room, and remodeled a second bathroom. Schock was extremely professional, friendly, and systematic. They took care of surprises and finished the project ahead of time. They kept us informed throughout. The entire team is amazing! I am so glad we picked them.

thought out before we started but as is often the case - we continued to add significant projects - the team still managed to stay on schedule! We stayed away for much of the project but totally trusted our house was safe and in good hands. The workmanship was expert with attention to detail but what really stood out was the care and kindness to make sure we were happy and satisfied - we never felt pressured into anything. Everyone takes pride in their work and often went above and beyond. All the trades they brought in were careful, talented and respectful. I highly recommend Schock Construction!!!

Schock is a fantastic crew! We contracted the team to do a major remodel of our midcentury house. After interviewing a variety of contractors we landed on Schock as our partner. I have a lot of experience with contractors from family members who work in the industry and I could recognize straight away that this team really knows their stuff, have deep expertise, and care so much about the quality of the work they do. They come with the full shop of experts as well - including help us with designs for all the new rooms (Amanda has a great eye!). Front Street Builders helped me remodel my house to remove and replace an old fireplace and redo my backyard, including a new outdoor kitchen in the garden. They were so helpful and friendly; I’m definitely calling them back when I’m ready to remodel my kitchen and bathroom.

We did a major house remodel with Steve Hirsch and Front Street Builders, including our kitchen, a sun room, windows, the exterior, 2 decks, 2/5 baths, painting and hardwood flooring, We could not have been happier. Steve really listened to our vision and executed it, was responsive to questions and issues, and was able to troubleshoot on site, (such as when a wall was opened and things were not as hoped/planned). Steve worked closely with us to design non-traditional window frames, wall cap reveals and baseboards with great attention to quality and detail. He and his team treated our home as if it were his own with regard to making sure not to damage our possessions. We started our project right before the COVID-19 shutdown, which added extra delays, lead-times and product shortages to our project, but Steve worked closely with us to openly communicate and flex to meet our needs. We stayed in the house during the renovation, which added an additional level of stress to Steve and his team, but they were respectful, patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend Front Street Builders without reservation.

Steven Hirsch and his team did a large Bathroom, Bedroom, Closet, and Basement remodel in Burlingame for me and it was great. I can't be more pleased with how the remodel turned out. Our project was very complicated with many details.

His team completed the project within budget and did everything with high quality. What I appreciated with Front Street Builders the most was that when something had to be adjusted, redone, or modified... Steven always cared deeply about "doing the right thing". My wife is really really detailed and Steven's team was able to satisfy her (which is difficult to do).
