Lemel and team did an awesome job remodeling several areas within our home. The attention to detail on the dining room conversion to an office and walk in pantry met all our expectations. I’ve used Gibson’s construction for two projects. My kitchen in my first house and they were reliable and did an amazing job, because of the reliability I called on them again to install recess lights In my home and I absolutely love them! There is one word that I would use to describe our experience with Gibson Construction; ELITE. Consider them the standard by which all construction professionals should be judged.

After spending time and money on three previous contractors (who only provided temporary band-aids for our issues), Gibson Construction took the time to address the root cause of a problem that would have eventually proved to be catastrophic for our home. Initially, we were set and requested specific work to be done, but Gibson Construction operated in absolute integrity and recommended the most cost effective option for us as a customer while forgoing the opportunity to make more money.

We look forward to a long, enduring relationship with Gibson Construction to help build and maintain the home of our dreams!

Bad company for payment with subcontractor they hold a lot money from as back charge for minor problem they hold a lot money. They take advantage on Subs.

It was as if they didn't want to help me... almost dismissing me. Then, I never received a call back after I finally received a consultation. ...which was a good thing since their price was ridiculously high.

Rick and his team are professionals! They do great work in a timely manner with fair pricing. Will be keeping this company on speed dial!

Extremely positive experience, would highly recommend. We renovated the better part of our first floor, kitchen, laundry, bath, and floors in dining room and living room. Their price is point is high when compared to serving as your own general contractor (individually coordinating yourself between carpentry, electrical, plumbing) or GCs who will just execute what you say, no more and no less, but at the low end for a more "full service" approach to renovations. That is exactly what my wife and I were looking for and they delivered excellent service from start to finish.

At the planning level, we interacted with Meg to get the initial scope and quote, Chelsea for design advice, and Rob for project maintenance. Great interactions all around. They were very responsive to what we wanted done and had great suggestions about how to get it done, including some gentle nudges when we were headed in the wrong direction :). The space is very much our own, but came together much, much better than we could have achieved on our own. Also can't say enough about their follow through, every comment and question was addressed, even if it took some time to work through, and whenever I checked up to make sure they heard something that we had only discussed verbally it was already noted down as part of the plan and in process.

Execution was also extremely good. They did much of the work internally, with trusted subs for some of the specialty work. Apologies for names I forgot, but Craig, Henry, and Jeff became our honorary roommates for the duration, and the quality of finish and attention to detail was at the highest level. I regularly work with professional engineers on high-dollar projects and they brought the same ethos of "good enough is not good enough" to everything from the big picture questions of layout to the finish details of the baseboard.

Our work took about 3 months, which was quite good for what we had done. We were able to stay in the house (mainly on the second floor), and they worked with us to keep the space livable. In addition to the professional work product everyone was courteous and kind, the best kind of house guests :).

Do not hire this company. They will not finish your job and what they do complete will look like trash. They obviously don’t even know how it level works. My job has been “ completed” for two years 25 months to be exact. There is still a list of warranty work that is not finished. They will not answer their phones or reply to text messages. I’ve had to get the BBB involved, so just don’t use this company.
