Alan and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel, it’s night and day transformation. We highly recommend Barra’s for your kitchen remodeling.

We were extremely pleased with the service & workmanship of Alan, owner of Barra’s Refinishing Company. Alan is a honest, reliable and trustworthy businessman and his professionalism is refreshing! Alan completely rebuilt our master vanity, painted, built the custom mirror and the outcome was beautiful! We can/do/would HIGHLY recommend his expert service, and we already have other refinishing jobs planned for the near future.

Allen and his crew were professional, prompt, friendly, kept a clean work area, and honest workers.

I had a out dated kitchen and wanted color. Some of my cabinets were falling apart so we replaced them added panels on the sides and around Island. Moved my cabinets up and painted them NYPD blue. He also added 3 sliders to my pantry and soft close to all drawers and cabinets. We also did away with the window looking into our playroom. I love the work they did and would highly recommend them.

Beautiful!! Changed my life! For several years, I thought about painting our cabinets or just getting all new ones. Our cabinets were great quality and very functional but just very 90’s honey oak, very dated. I could not decide what to do. I really did not want to go through months of renovations. I worried that if I did get new cabinets, I would have buyers remorse because the design, time, or quality didn’t justify spending so much time and money on a complete renovation. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family so the idea of months without a kitchen made me hesitant to do anything. (Barra’s did it in just a week!! Keep reading)

I had spent time with a designer for a whole new kitchen but it seemed like more than I wanted to invest, in money but mostly time. I really just wanted a brighter, more modern kitchen without the stress. In the past, I spent a lot on custom built-in’s but was disappointed in the high price and poor quality when they were put in. So getting new cabinets made me skeptical….I was not sure what to do… Then I talked to Alan at Barra’s…..

Alan and his team are absolutely wonderful! Even though there were others that came up in my search, I chose to call Barra’s because I knew that if he put his name on it, he would stand behind his work. He was immediately responsive, professional, and very knowledgeable. He looked at my project and we discussed any modifications that I wanted to make. The team modified my existing cabinets for new appliances, trash can pull outs, etc…

My home went from the 90’s to 2023 in one week! And I was able to spend a lot less money and time than I would have new cabinets but keep the quality and design I loved. The team is amazing! Everything turned out beautiful and I could not be happier!…I wish I had done this a long time ago! Now I don’t have to think about it, the stress is gone…I just get to love it!!

Alan and his team just did a fantastic job on our cabinets. Showed up when they said they would. Completed the project on time. No change orders or surprises. Truly this was a model of how to run a home services project!

Alan and his company came into our kitchen remodel to fix the mess from another contractor. Alan and his team were VERY professional, worked with us to reach solutions to the many issues and the kitchen turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! Even our dogs like Alan and his team!! We just wish we would have gone to this company to start with.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Barra's Cabinet Refinishing do a quality job and are very professional to work with. It has been a pleasure doing business with them. For the painting part of their project, they put down paper to protect the floor, walled off floor-to-ceiling with plastic sheeting and taped off all edges to protect for paint overspray. Further, they also installed some high-quality new cabinets, soft close door and drawer mechanisms and new brass door and drawer pulls. We would definitely do business with them again.

We bought this house a little over a year ago with so many updates needed. We’ve slowly taken our time and left the kitchen for last because I was fearful of the cost to redo my cabinets. When we finally started I found Barras and I’m glad I did. They were a great value and did an outstanding job. We kept the base of my cabinets and replaced the doors because they were in awful shape. I never even thought about doing that.

My cabinets now look brand new and with the new appliances and countertop it looks so clean and it’s nice to cook in there again.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to get cabinets redone who maybe don’t want to fully build out new cabinets. At least have him quote you. It’s worth it.
Also - done in 5 days !!! Started on a Monday and finished on Friday.

Alan and his team repaired and painted our kitchen cabinets. He added soft close hinges and drawer rails. Some of our drawer boxes were in bad shape so Alan made us new ones.
Our kitchen cabinets look fantastic. The finish on them looks like a factory finish. We’re extremely happy with the outcome.
Alan is a nice guy & easy to work with. He takes pride in his work to insure total customer satisfaction.

Barra's Cabinet Refinishing did a phenomenal job updating our 26 year old kitchen cabinets. Mr. Barra supervised his workers, provided a quote, and used quality materials with our input.The craftsman were on time, cleaned up, and kept us informed during the entire Refinishing Project.

Allan did a amazing job. I cannot put into words how beautiful the cabinets are. The original were dark and dreary and he and his team brought them to life. I would 100% use them again. Alan and his team are true professionals. From our first contact with Alan to the end of the project we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. If they say they will be there at a certain date and time, they are. The price quoted us was very reasonable. The guidance and suggestions were spot on. Our kitchen project was absolutely perfect in every way. If anyone wants a great job done by people who are very trustworthy, these are the people to use. We are very well pleased. Thanks guys.

We interviewed two other cabinet refinishing companies before we selected Barra’s. They don’t use pushy sales techniques, they don’t make you wait an unreasonable time for your quote, he brought samples of his work, he showed videos of some of his before and after projects, and he was obviously skilled in what he and his team offer. We felt so comfortable in giving him our kitchen project that we also had him redo the cabinets in our master bath. Basically, they are just a great group of guys to work with and a company we would highly recommend.

Beyond Expectations!!
We contacted Alan to update the kitchen in our newly purchased home. Alan set up an appointment to come to the house. He arrived at the scheduled time. We discussed our design/layout options. He clearly explained the changes he would make to fully utilize our available space. We received a very reasonable quote the following day and decided to move forward. We set up a date to select final design options.
Alan arrived with multiple door and hardware options and an array of colors to choose from. We were given an approximate date of installation. Alan called us with progress updates throughout the process.
Alan and his team arrived on the scheduled date and completed the installation. We were amazed when we saw the new cabinets installed. It brought tears to my wife’s eyes, a truly magnificent kitchen. We have so much more usable space in the same footprint of the old kitchen. It was beyond our expectations, everything we wanted and more. Alan is knowledgeable, personable and most important, an honest businessman. We highly recommend Barra’s Custom Cabinets!

Achieved the goals we were aiming for and astheticly it turned out great. Well done all around.

Bathroom looks great, but team removed my Jacuzzi tub when the contract didn't call for it (didn't want it removed). They replaced it at no cost to me, but team wasn't careful enough. Also, new tiled floor doesn't appear to be properly secured beside the toilet as it makes noise when stepped on.
