Ben came in and painted a vaulted ceiling we had in an office that I was too afraid to get on a ladder and paint. It was better than I could have expected. His crew was spotless and even laid down extra painting sheets in my hallways to protect my floors.
He was so easy and responsive to work with we have hired him on for several other household repairs, lighting, and other things we need to have done that we have been avoiding since we bought the house 2 years ago. -
We needed several things fixed or updated before selling our townhouse and Ben was great to work with to get everything done on our timeline and within our budget. He provided guidance for decision making when we needed it and was also flexible when we needed to add a project or make a change to get to our final goal of staying within our budget while ensuring our house looked it’s best when we listed it (which it did, and it sold on the first day!) In addition to Ben being there to do a lot of the initial work himself, we had a lot of work done by Daniel who we were extremely happy with; he spent quite a lot of time in our house by the time everything was complete and he was very friendly and respectful, always making sure everything was clean and organized at the end of each day. We were impressed with his painting and drywall work in particular - everything looked fantastic!
We will be hiring Ben again for some updates to the new house! -
Ben and his team are incredibly professional, value for money and above all a pleasure to work with. Ben is very professional and takes care of the customers need in proactive manner. He also has good objective suggestions on materials, cabinets, electrical, etc. It was a pleasure working with Ben and I highly recommend their services.

Thanks to Ben's support, we completed a successful kitchen upgrade, including flooring, walls, electrical... He was professional, dependable, knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. His team installed our provided cabinets adequately, with craftsmanship matching the cost (though some elements could have been perfected with closer attention). Despite some setbacks, he stayed positive and resolved issues quickly. They kept things neat, taking care of leftover packaging. Overall, we're pleased with the results and would consider using them again. Would recommend.

Benache has been outstanding in their approach, professionalism, and work ethic. They delivered exceptional results on our remodeling project, consistently staying open to design discussions and assisting greatly with the permitting process.
We also appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile by lending a hand with moving our furniture — a thoughtful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed.
Highly recommended! -
Ben was great to work with, and handled our master bathroom remodel with professionalism and care. There were a number of things that had to be redone along the way, but he and his crew took responsibility, fixed their mistakes, and ensured the final result met our expectations.
Ben was personable, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and his crew was accommodating and attentive to detail. We also appreciated how they kept the workspace tidy each day and worked hard to minimize disruption.
While the project had its challenges, we’re happy with the finished bathroom and appreciate that Ben and his crew stood by their work to make it right. -
Benache Remodeling did a fantastic job with our bathroom update/remodel. During our first consultation, Ben gave us suggestions for layout and floorplan options. He listened to our needs and adjusted things to our liking. He and his team were professional and experienced. There is no hesitation to recommend this company.

J&J worked with us to design and remodel our kitchen along with some additional renovations in our downstairs. They provided design options and went through the good and bad of each option. They laid out a schedule that included demolition, drywall, mechanicals, installation, painting, and floor refinishing. Best of all, the kept to the original published schedule. They were available to answer many questions during the process and were flexible to handle some additional work during the project. J&J and their subcontractors were professional and conscientious about doing quality work. They paid attention to details and fixed any issues that came up. Overall J&J Construction is an excellent company that will provide quality work

Looking to have our bathroom remodeled and called J&J for an estimate. The office staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We are looking forward to working with them soon.

Called for an estimate for master bathroom, they said minimum $60,000? I'm not Michael Jordan living in Oak Brook, il. I could build a house for that, what a joke, bye!!!!!!!!

I have been waiting over a year for a deck job to be completed. The deck was expensive, and cosmetically it looks great...I think Joe the owner has even used it as a 'sales pitch.' However, I was 'sold' and idea which seemed great at the time...an underneath 'gutter' system on a Tree deck to make the underneath a water free usable space. It leaked. A 'patch' repair was done and the work was never completed, and over a year later, despite my attempts to contact the company and Joe...no one returns my call. I was left with very large and heavy panels of water damaged headboard plywood, and an exposed ceiling and gutter system underneath - even my neighbors have complained at it's 'unsightliness.'
I am a single woman without the physical strength or ability to take care of this myself, and the building of this deck exhausted my funds.
In addition, the supporting posts of this very expensive deck are on piers, however the piers sit so low in the ground, that the base of the supports are pretty much very vulnerable to water damage /rot. I have since had to hire other people to try to compensate for some of these problems, such as adding concrete as well as wrapping posts in an effort to prevent water damage.
I am still awaiting a call from this company. I would still very much like them to come out here and rectify the problems, and finish this job. -
I have used J and J Construction on two major renovations/additions to my home. One when I was pregnant in 2004. I added a four season sunroom to my home. They did an unbelievable job. More than exceeded my expectations. Mike the head of my project was amazing. They did everything I asked and more! The crews were in and out when they said they would be. Called before they came if there was something that needed to be worked on that I wasn't aware of. They always left the area clean. I was so impressed I hired them for a project to gut my entire first floor including removing walls and raising ceilings! It was in 2006, my daughter was 2 at the time. They made my home very livable, blocking off my first floor from the rest of the house. Everything was done on time, they always left my property clean when they were done for the day, I love working with this company. I hope to be adding a 3rd level addition to my home. I will be using J and J for this addition also!!

Joe and his crew put a 2nd floor addition on our Elmhurst home, as well as a sunroom. The work is OUTSTANDING. They actually met the time frame provided (4 months), and were very honest and transparent in everything they did. Joe was just a phone call away and fun to work with. He has also completed work for other family members and friends, and everyone highly recommends J&J. Now I know why! Thanks, Joe!

J & J remodeled our basement; new walls, flooring, bathroom, electrical. The project started on time and actually finished sooner than the promised completion date!
They were terrific about the few items I felt were not finished as I had envisioned them, all of these changes were completed quickly and without my having to make calls to get them back here. Everything they said they would do they did.
Nice people, clean, considerate of my pets and property. -
I contacted this company requesting a quote to remove a living room wall.. Joe proceeded to tell me they only do bathroom and kitchen remodels along with additions and what I needed was a handyman. He then proceeds to tell me they only take jobs for greater than $25,000. I asked him if he had any referrals and he said laughing that he does not have any referrals for anyone less than $25,000 job because anyone he knows who would do a job for less than $25,000 is going to screw it up and he said I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place with my project.

Just two years after remodeling our master bath, and hall bath...here are the issues we have!! First, some of the grout in our expensive showers, wipes out every time I clean! Joe says "harsh chemicals" MUST have been used on it! I don't have harsh chemicals in my house, nor do I use harsh chemicals! He Took months to "research" grout they used, and decided it wasn't his fault! Still must be "harsh chemicals"! Nothing is their fault, if they can find a way around it! Then.... toilet paper holder, which they mounted on my new cabinet without asking, keeps getting lose, and is impossible to tighten! They did fix it one time, but has since gotten worse! Then...I started noticing the finish coming off my expensive cabinets, along the edge! But of course, warranty is up on that too! Now, the finish is coming off cabinet hardware, so will have to replace after just two years! Also water sits in corners of my shower, and causes mold. Guess they didn't pitch the shower floor correctly! Lastly, my 25-30 lb mirror nearly fell off the wall! I noticed it was crooked, we took it down, and the screws were ripping down the drywall and pulling out! Thank God I noticed it, someone could have been seriously injured! I don't recommend this place....at all! I tell all my friends to go elsewhere! And you should too!
