Reviews of local pros in Coventry, Rhode Island

We had been in desperate need of a new backyard for over a year and a half after having to unexpectedly replace our septic tank. We searched high and low for a reputable company, only to be ghosted by one we thought we could trust—leaving us with just three weeks until a big family cookout and no lawn! In a last-minute scramble, we came across Kevin and Always Green Hydroseeding, and it was truly a game-changer.

First off, the calculator on his website was so helpful in giving us an accurate idea of the investment based on our yard's size. Kevin responded immediately, came to inspect our yard the very next day, and began work promptly the following week. The result? Nothing short of spectacular! Kevin transformed our yard beyond our expectations, leaving it looking even better than before we needed a new septic tank. He also provided a detailed care guide with tips and tricks to help keep it looking amazing.

Now, our friends, family, and neighbors can’t stop talking about how beautiful our yard looks, and many are now planning to reach out to Kevin themselves! Kevin’s professionalism, promptness, and expertise made this an incredibly smooth experience. If you're looking for turf-quality lawn service from a true professional who guarantees satisfaction, look no further than Kevin at Always Green Hydroseeding in RI. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend him—you will NOT be disappointed!

I highly recommend Kevin at Always Green Hydroseeding. Kevin has nearly two decades of experience in lawn care. He works with the highest quality products from premium local suppliers. We used Kevin to Hydroseed nearly 30,000 sqft. His custom blend of Turf Type Tall Fescue, Ryegrass, and Blue Grass provides a thick, drought resistant, and self repairing turf. There is no one in our area that provides the high quality product and service like Kevin does. Don’t hesitate to call him today.

Kevin put my lawn in 3 years ago (1/2 acre) and we couldn't be happier with the results!! This is what my lawn looks like at the end of August 2018 in 100 degree heat and humidity. We chose to go with their drought tolerant mix and this is the result with minimal watering. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and you cant go wrong as long as you follow his recommendations and instructions. Very happy customer here!!

Lawn was sprayed on September 20. Have to agree with all the other reviews on the results. In a month I couldn’t believe how great the lawn looks! Excellent job and would highly recommend.

Awesome experience. I had Always Green hydroseed my entire property, starting from scratch, and years on it still looks amazing. Definitely recommend for both the quality of the work and the ability to work with Kevin

Totally worth it. My grass is awesome. I seeded sept 21st and was mowing in 3 weeks. Last pic is my grass this summer. Really looking good. They’re coming back to do my back yard next month.

Highly recommend Always Green Hydroseeding! I had my front yard done, and it looks like a carpet! They use nothing but the best products in their mix. 5 days after the seed went down we had germination! At 2 weeks my front yard was completely covered! 1 month after application i was cutting for the first time! I could not he happier!

Kevin is always quick to respond to my calls and emails. He knows his product, is always professional and worked with us to stay within budget. We have used his services twice now and will hire him again when we are ready to do the remainder of the yard.
Go with Always Green!

Kevin is extremely professional and knows grass seed! Very knowledgeable about his product. It’s been just about 4 weeks since always green hydroseeded my yard and my yard went from a mud pit to a beautiful green lawn. All my neighbors comment on how amazing the yard looks and how it is the best grass they’ve seen in this neighborhood

Thank you again Always Green Hydroseeding

We have used Kevin at Always Green Hydroseeding for approx 15 years! Kevin goes above and beyond each time to assure our grass becomes lush and beautiful! At our previous home our yard was beautiful becomes of him! When we moved into our new home the whole yard needed to be done over. Kevin had helped make sure our yard was prepared properly prior to the seed going down. Once again our large yard is now gorgeous and it’s only been 5 weeks since he sprayed! The front yard was sprayed this past fall! It really is thick and strong! Thank you Kevin and crew!

Kevin did a great job .My lawn came out great . Came buy to check to job and make sure i was satisfied . Would highly recommend to any one . Price was fair

Always Green Hydroseeding was the best decision ever. Kevin was so professional and knowledgeable! I appreciated his list of follow up directions! He left nothing to chance. I would definitely recommend him!

Kevin and his team did an amazing job on our yard. It was a new construction so fresh loam was put down prior so I chose to not bother with the contractors seed and went with Always Green Hydroseeding instead and I have zero regrets. They use a great blend of seed and as long as you follow the instruction sheet they give you, your yard will look fantastic. Amazing results and couldn’t be any happier.

Horrible business don’t call them !!!

I have been a satisfied customer of Greenwood landscaping for many years . Doug and his crew do an excellent job are professional and reliable. I highly recommend Doug Greenwood landscaping. Elaine Roche

Great experience with Doug and his team doing fall cleanup and lawn maintenance. Can't wait to use them in the spring to redesign my yard. Highly recommend!

Doug and his grandson Derek did a great job on both my front and back yards. They are a great team and work well together. They are very personable and professional. I would highly recommend them. Beautiful work at a very reasonable price. Great job!!

After this unusually rainy summer, the overgrowth in our yard was totally out of control. A friend referred Doug Greenwood Landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. Doug and his grandson, Derek, did weeding and tree pruning and then cleaned up all the debris. The results were remarkable and we’ll now be using their services on a regular basis. Timely service, hard-working, responsive, accommodating, and really nice people. My husband and I would definitely recommend them.

I asked Doug to step in and complete a landscaping project at my home after two different contractors either didn't complete the job or not return my calls. He did a phenomenal job. He is completely professional, always stayed in communication, and made the front of my hose sing. He and his grandson make a wonderful pair that will warm your heart. The final product not only included your usual landscaping materials, but also some wonderful personal touches. I can't tell you how much I appreciate his work and would highly recommend him to do the same at your house.
