The first thing you think about when taking on a sizable home addition is 'where do we even start... incredibly overwhelming'. Don't want to be repetitive, but feel free to refer to my earlier exemplary review of Sue, Loukas, and the rest of the design team at JPS. They were the kickoff, and they were phenomenal.
Then the time came to put the beautiful design into a reality with the construction phase. First, thanks to Jamie (JPS Founder & President) for having the foresight to hire these incredibly talented individuals. Dominic was our project manager, and we can't imagine how this project would have turned out without him. He was always there for us, with his ideas, knowledge, expertise, experience, kindness and humor. Wyatt was the assistant project manager, also terrific- so hands on and dedicated. He worked closely with us and the subs, always making sure that things were running smoothly, and we really came to rely on him as well. We had constant texts and emails with Dominic and Wyatt, and they were always ready with the answers to our endless questions. They also connected us with Lindsay at their Design House in Portsmouth, and she was such a big help with tile, lighting, flooring, ordering materials...
Thanks so much also to Jose, Noah, Tyler, Nate, Jimmy, Tony, etc... I'm sure i'm missing some, but this was the construction team who showed up for the daily grind. Also want to give a shout out to the subs. Happy with every single one. So unusual for a project of this size! The whole team became family to us over the past year and we will miss them- (although we'd be lying if we didn't say we're happy to have them done!) Thank you again for everything Jamie, Dominic, Wyatt, Sue, Loukas, and the rest of the team who showed up. We are thrilled!

JPS did a great job on my roof. The staff came out and reviewed my roof and explained in detail what needed to be done. They came out and put on a new roof for me and now my roof is the envy of the neighborhood. Great job guys I am very pleased with your work.
Thanks
Daniel Crawford

JPS Construction has been a great pleasure to call a partner in the construction world. Our experience on projects together has always been positive. JPS is well organized with great communication. They always take care of their sub-contractors as well as their clients!

JPS Construction and Design is a very dedicated company in providing top quality workmanship in all of the projects they land. From the rough frame to the very last detail of the job JPS Construction and Design will not disappoint their clients.
Regardless if it’s a small project like a bath remodel or build your dream home JPS Construction and Design should be on your top list of contractors to make your dreams reality.

Home Healthsmith has worked with JPS Construction on many projects requiring either an Residential Elevator or Vertical Platform Lift. Their knowledgeable experience and professionalism is unmatched not only in the field but also with their design team. Jamie has a great group of employee's that care about their clients and their work!!

My home needed extensive renovations. As Linda S. stated, I also wanted to retain the original character of my 100-year-old home, but to add a few modern updates. After meeting with Sue and Dominic, I knew I had chosen the right company. They listened to my ideas, offered great advice, and suggested a phased approach to complete the work. Project Manager, Dominic, together with his team, provided quality workmanship and a beautiful, finished product. I am so happy with the work that was done and look forward to working with JPS again soon. Highly recommend JPS!

JPS did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation. Jamie & his team were extremely professional, meticulous & completed the project on time. They created my dream kitchen.

JPS Construction and Design’s reputation for high quality craftsmanship is well deserved. This was our 3rd project using JPS and certainly the most extensive.

The 8 month project involved both exterior and interior renovations, the first floor taken down to studs. From the design phase through completion, the project could not have gone smoother.

Our project manager, Andrew was exceptional. He was truly a partner every step of the way, including working with us to insure we stayed within our budget. All throughout, keeping us on schedule.

The renovations exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend JPS Construction and Design for any project.

Wow what a great job they did. I am so happy with the installation of our new floating stairs. They were professional, courteous and always on time I would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future

Jamie & his team are amazing! They are always looking for ways to help local businesses and organizations. JPS Construction was generous enough to make a donation to our organization to assist with taking a group of kids to Ireland to learn about their agriculture and how they grow things in other countries! You can always count on JPS to support local businesses and organizations!

Kevin and the team at JPS were fantastic to work with from start to finish when designing and installing our Viewrail staircases and custom nosing. I would not hesitate to work with them again, and recommend them very highly.

I have been working with the entire JPS design and construction team for nearly 3 years now, I have found them to be very responsive, professional, efficient and talented. I have utilized all of the services JPS offers to its clients. I have been told that the house they built for me is some of the best workmanship and craftsmenship anyone has ever seen. I recommend JPS to any homeowner who is looking to build a new home or renovate an existing home.

Our experience with JPS team has been top notch. Working with Kevin Sawyer as our point person has been excellent. The project of window replacement is underway plus JPS stepped in to help us with an unexpected chimney issue, providing on the spot critical assistance and guidance. Excited and VERY satisfied to be working with JPS to the finish line!

The JPS Construction does a great job maintaining our home. They manage repair and update projects and monitor our home when we are away. Their service is terrific, very reponsive, high quality and fair prices. They installed a stage 2 charger in our garage when we bought an electric car, installed a home generator and manage large and small projects equally well thanks to Sue and John.

The JPS Construction and Design team demonstrated exceptional performance during the entire design and new-build construction process - they get top marks across the board!
The design team helped us consolidate and improve our ideas for a large custom house - both the overall architecture and interior design. They successfully incorporated many details that were important to us, and clearly communicated cost and schedule details along the way.
Their expert Project Manager was involved early on during the design process, and led the team of JPS builders and subcontractors every step of the way to produce a great result. Frequent communications between the Project Manager, subcontractors and owners was an important part of the JPS new-build process, and helped ensure project success.
Maintaining consistent high quality in every aspect of their work is built into their process, and a source of satisfaction that we continue to enjoy now that we live in our new home.
We highly recommend JPS Construction & Design to anyone considering either renovations to an existing home, or a more comprehensive new-build construction project.

JPS Delivers!! What an excellent experience. We needed a new roof and several skylights replaced. Jamie and his team exceeded my expectations with every phase of the renovation. I highly recommend! JPS is the BEST!

We hired JPS after another contractor had let us down. JPS did a fantastic job. Our project manager, Dominic Skrajewski, was not only accessible, communicative and quick to respond, but he was also often pro-active in heading off any potential issues. Site Supervisor Kevin Levesque was reliable, organized and also engaging throughout the process. The workmanship was outstanding, the project completed on time and they were fair and transparent. We wouldn't use anyone else in the future.

After a decent experience with JPS in 2023, we trusted them again in 2025—and deeply regret it. A simple two-bathroom remodel turned into a nightmare. JPS ignored the design blueprint for the primary bathroom and completed the rough-in nine inches off, requiring full rework. Due to poor communication with their plumbing subcontractor, our family room ceiling was opened and closed three separate times, causing needless dust and disruption. Basic measurements for tile and cabinetry were repeatedly wrong, leading to incorrect orders, delays, and avoidable design problems. The entire process was excruciating. We won’t be using JPS again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I would hire JPS again and again. Building a new house can be an overwhelming and unpredictable experience, but not in my case. My house was completed on time and aside from unforeseen costs, under budget. The attention to detail - from plans, schedules, construction and finish work - was extraordinary. Every JPS employee who came to the job site was courteous and professional - and my project manager, Dominic, could not have done a better job. I highly recommend JPS for any project, big or small.

We had an outstanding experience working with JPS Design & Construction on the build-out of our new café at 135 JT Connell Hwy. From start to finish, their team was incredibly attentive, professional, and dedicated to making our vision a reality.

The entire team was on time every day, ready to work, and brought both insight and creativity to our final design. Their expertise and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. Our project manager, Loukas, was on-site daily, ensuring everything stayed on track and that all of our needs were met. His commitment to keeping things moving efficiently was instrumental in allowing us to open.

JPS went above and beyond to make this project a success, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. If you’re looking for a construction company that delivers high-quality work, clear communication, and exceptional service, we highly recommend JPS Design & Construction!
