Constraction reviews in Middletown, Rhode Island

Thank you to Jon, Aaron, and the team at JPS Construction for doing a great job on the addition to our house in Newport. They got the project done in a professional and courteous manner. The communication from the project managers, Jon and Aaron was excellent and the end product reflects the quality of the JPS internal team and their choice of sub-contractors. I would highly recommend JPS Construction for construction projects in Newport and the surrounding area.

JPS built our home in Portsmouth in 2022-2023
We have remodeled or built 7 homes and this was by far the best experience. They were professional and most importantly if something was wrong or wasn’t working they showed up and took care of it.
Dominic S. Was our project manager and he was fantastic which made our experience great!

Billy and his team were amazing to work with right from the start! My husband and I struggled to find a team dedicated to what was considered more of a face lift renovation and we couldn’t be happier with the process, the work, and the expertise that Billy and his team with JPS delivered for us.
Our kitchen went from an early 2000s dated design to our dream kitchen and the team ensured we were informed through every step of the process.
It takes a lot to of research and commitment to find the right team to work with and welcome into your home and we’re so glad we chose Billy and his JPS team. We will absolutely use him for future work and highly recommend him to others!

Overall I had a very positive experience with JPS. I was looking to do a total remodel of my master bathroom and adjacent laundry room, combining them into one room and hoped to add a soaker tub. I've never done any sort of home remodel before and needed a lot of help through the process. Sue and Tom from the design team were able to come up with a floorpan that worked for everything I needed, which seemed a miracle given the space we were working with. I also worked with Lindsay and Morgan at Design House, a JPS sister company, to come up with the cabinet and tile selections, which was an enormous help. The amount of decisions can be overwhelming but everyone on the team, including the project manager, were super helpful throughout the process. Lewis and his team did an amazing job on the remodel itself, they were all extremely courteous of my property and the homes around me, the job site was always very neat. As these things tend to do, the whole job took a lot longer than anticipated but despite that, it was worth it. The new bathroom is gorgeous, better than I could have imagined. Deepest thanks to all of you!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are extremely pleased with the completed garage conversion into two bedrooms. From start to finish, the project was handled with a high level of professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail. The quality of workmanship met—and in many areas exceeded—our expectations, and the finished space is both functional and well-designed.

The construction crew was punctual, courteous, and respectful of our home throughout the entire process. Their work ethic and craftsmanship were evident every day, and they maintained a clean and organized job site.

We would also like to specifically recognize the project managers, Jon and Aaron, who were outstanding. They were consistently responsive, transparent, and proactive in addressing questions or adjustments along the way. Their coordination and oversight kept the project on schedule and ensured a smooth experience from beginning to end.

We highly recommend JPS for any construction project and we look forward to working with them again on future projects on our home.

We hired JPS Construction to build our retirement dream home in Little Compton. Overall we are thrilled with how it came out! Project manager Kevin along with Matt, Jon, and Jordan were all professional and cared about the quality of the work being done. They were nimble and willing and able to change things on the fly when needed. As with any large project there were some hiccups along the way, but the JPS team listened to our concerns and made sure everything was dealt with to our satisfaction. We would recommend JPS Construction for any new build or remodel.

We had a great experience working with Wilson and his team at Hamptons! He helped with a few random projects in our small 1910s home in Newport. All of the work was very well done and looks beautiful! They even rebuilt our front door frame so the original door and new storm door are now secure with no daylight coming through. Never thought I’d be so excited about a doorway - but it’s beautiful! The tile and cabinets we had installed also came out great. Wilson was easy to communicate with, flexible with scheduling, and very patient with unexpected delays (2 blizzards, a plumbing issue, and shipping hold ups)! We would absolutely recommend Hamptons General, and use them again for our next project. Thanks, Wilson!

Wilson was a pleasure to work with. We worked with the company for a garage conversion and to refinish a basement. On time and on budget. Competitive prices. Would definitely recommend and will use Hampton again in the future for other projects.

Wilson is our go-to carpenter. We have worked with him on several of our home projects and always take his advice. We trust him to do a highly professional job at a reasonable price since he has proved himself to us numerous times, including an amazing mahogany deck with doors opening over a bulkhead- no easy task! We highly recommend him and his team!

I have recently experienced my 3rd project with Hamptons General Construction. The first was re-shingling the cedar shakes on my house, second was replacing my front porch and third was re-roofing my house. Each project was under the guidance of Wilson who is careful about details and project costs. He comes up with designs that are beautiful and clever. When an emergency porch repair was needed he and crew responded in one day, despite it being a weekend, to shore up the porch roof which was in danger of collapsing. The crew follows his directions carefully and worked in difficult weather conditions when finishing the house roof. They were always pleasant and appeared to enjoy their work. I found the costs of all my projects to be reasonable. In light of my experience I wholeheartedly recommend Wilson and his crew.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with Hamptons General Construction. Very professional, knowledgable and skilled. Easy to talk to, puntual and always accessible. We definite recommend and use again!

I have had the pleasure of working with Hamptons General Contractor on several renovation projects, including a complete kitchen remodel and a full bathroom remodel in my condo. From start to finish, they have been nothing short of exceptional.

The owner, Wilson, is a soft-spoken gentleman who truly listens to your ideas and provides thoughtful options to bring your vision to life. His calm and professional approach makes the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The team—especially Edwin and Diego—are a joy to work with. They are incredibly talented, hardworking, and always bring a terrific attitude to the job. They consistently give 110%, and if it takes staying late to finish a day’s goal, they do it without hesitation. Their craftsmanship and dedication really show in the final results.

Another thing I greatly appreciate is their reliability: they were always on time and made sure to clean up thoroughly at the end of each day. That level of respect for both the project and the homeowner is rare to find.
