Reviews of local pros in Middletown, Rhode Island

Cam Tree Service has transformed our property into something special. They passed all the tests, from clearing out Japanese Knot Weed to taking down big trees. We highly recommended calling them for all your tree adventures. Mike and his guys were able to tackle any tree problems my family threw at them. Not only were their prices competitive, they finished the job right on time too.

C.A.M had the impressive ability to professionally take down our huge Oak Trees, organize stump removal and then coordinate hydro seed options to make it look like the trees were never there. As a bonus, during Christmas time, Mike and his bucket truck put up over 500 feet of lights onto one big evergreen tree; it’s a memory my family and I will never forget. ( I recommend the plastic LED lights;)

This Company is great! I’m glad I have them saved as one of my contacts.

Again, we highly recommend C.A.M to all our friends around the island.

5 stars all the way!

I can’t say enough good things about Mike and his crew. I had a dead elm tree that had become dangerous (randomly falling limbs). I called Mike and he came right over and set a date to come remove the tree. They came right on time on one of the hottest days of the year with the most amazing equipment. It was fascinating to watch them cut down this huge tree. They were extremely professional and the cleanup was exceptional. The cost of removal was very reasonable. I highly recommend CAM Tree and would definitely use their services again.

Very pleased with services provided by CAM tree services. We had been calling several companies to come trim the trees by our driveway. After contacting them, we had an appointment scheduled within a week. They were very responsive, cleaned up after themselves and easy to work with. Will be calling them again for future projects.

CAM Tree Service came highly recommended and they exceeded expectations! Mike & Matt were wonderful people with incredible skills, respect for our tree’s health & appearance and employed very cool, advanced equipment. My husband and I are grateful for their outstanding care and craft.

Just had Mike and his crew come out last week to deal with an old White Pine that lost much of its canopy and large limbs recently.

They were prompt in coming to see the damage and submitted a very fair quote for the work involved. A week or so later, they turned up and in what seemed like no time at all, the damage was cleared up and tree remains removed. They'll also be coming to completed the stump grinding as soon as weather improves.

They're a professional outfit, tidy, polite and eager to do the best possible. I'm very glad to have chosen CAM Tree Service and without hesitation will use their services again should the need arise.

I wanted to take a moment to write a review for CAM Tree Service.
My husband and I are very pleased with the work Mike and his crew did at removing two trees from our property.
He is local, very professional and the job was done efficiently and fast.
I highly recommend CAM Tree Service !

The CAM Tree team was a pleasure to work with! They did a great job with multiple projects, immediately responded to calls and questions we asked and provided quality customer service. We look forward to doing more work with them in the future.

CAM Tree Service offered me a very fair price, arrived as scheduled, worked quickly and thoroughly cleared the yard after completion of the job. The crew was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this team for your next tree service needs.

Unfortunately, when I recently (Aug 2024) asked them to quote another job, an appointment was made and never kept by them. I took the day off from work to meet them in-person and they were a no-show. A follow-up call was made and still nobody ever responded. Not the way to do business in a small community.

CAM Tree Service is the best tree company on Aquidneck Island. Mike and his team are courteous, timely, knowledgeable and efficient. My wife and I have used CAM for 4 different projects; including emergency tree removal from storms, pruning mature trees and removal of excessive trees on the property. The team has a wide variety of equipment that allowed them to get the job done quickly and not damage any of the surrounding property. They arrived promptly, conducted the work with minimal impact and made sure to leave the property better than when they arrived. I would highly recommend CAM Tree Service for any of your tree needs.

Excellent service and quick turnaround on the removal of 3 tall pines. Pretty remarkable to see it in action, especially given the location of the trees and narrow streets that make up the neighborhood (The Point in Newport). Their truck with the grapple hook/saw combo truly is the real deal! I’d venture to guess the work their team did in a few hours would have normally taken an entire day, if not much longer. Will absolutely be using CAM for any/all my future tree removal/maintenance needs!

We had a huge tree that hung over our house on top of our electrical wires that was super old and we were worried about it falling on our house and damaging the electrical wires, so we decided to have it removed. They gave us a great price and the owner Mike walked us through the process of how they were going to remove the tree without causing damage to my home. This was a worry of mine but he made me feel so comfortable that you would think it was his tree that needed to be removed and house. The crew was wonderful, they worked efficiently and respected my property. Clean up was amazing to the point that you wouldn't even think there was a massive tree once standing on the property. I highly recommended Mike and his team over at CAM Tree Service and will be working with them again in the near future.

Mike and his team are top notch! They are extremely skilled and take pride in their work! Safety and accuracy are their priority and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

Great guys, excellent service with state-of-the-art equipment. Efficient and very competitively priced, this is the best arborist/tree company I have ever worked with in my 40+ years of construction. Beyond their arboreal expertise, the crew are also courteous and considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend CAM Tree Service.

Communication with this team has been a challenge. Originally, we had tree service (completed beautifully) that did not include stump grinding, which was not explained to me. I incorrectly assumed would be offered or included, having never had a tree removed before. We were given a price for the additional stump grinding that would be honored anytime and we reached out two weeks ago - email, telephone, text - and have been ignored by this business, clearly no longer interested in honoring the “anytime” commitment.

Updating my review from 1 to 3 Stars because I received a call from the business after posting my review, which I respect and appreciate. Our tree service was great, and we hope to hire this business for another tree service soon, but the communication and reliability are the issues. I would still recommend this business, with the caveat not to rely on text messaging or phone calls but rather on email communication.

The CAM Tree team exhibited a high level of professionalism and skill related to their craft. We had two significant sized trees in a very tight location relative to pedestrians and auto traffic that they were able to remove with no issue. The yard/grass looked untouched from the vehicles and equipment they had to use. The equipment was top notch and well maintained. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Outstanding Professional Service from start to finish! Such a great find! Highly recommended!

CAM Tree Service is awesome! They removed a large maple in a tight corner of our yard in about 30 minutes with their high-tech equipment, in addition to trimming trees on our property. Mike and his team are very professional and knowledgeable in their field and easy to work with. They showed up ON TIME and cleaned up when they left. We would highly recommend their services.

CAM Tree Services was exceptional in every regard. From the moment I contacted Mike for a quote, I was impressed by their professionalism. Matt and Ben managed the tree trimming and they went above and beyond. Their expertise was evident from the start. Matt and Ben were not only knowledgeable and skilled arborists but also incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. They took time to address all our concerns and to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. I also want to mention how extremely meticulous they were with the clean-up.
I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of professional tree care. You can trust CAM Tree to get the job done right! Thank you CAM Tree!

Excellent choice! I tried to stay out of their way but helped as much as possible. Never know what a good tip is for the big jobs but I never feel like I gave enough. Can’t go wrong here!

I had a gigantic beech tree that needed removal, and CAM Tree Service exceeded all of my expectations! The team arrived on time, worked diligently, and stayed extra hours to ensure everything was completed to perfection. Their work ethic is outstanding, and you can tell they take immense pride in what they do. They even cleaned up every last piece of debris, leaving my yard cleaner than it was before — now I don't even need to do my fall cleanup! I can’t express enough how appreciative I am. They are simply the best and I highly recommend them for any job. You won’t regret it!

Mike from CAM Tree Service was a pleasure to work with. Professional and timely from start to finish. Would certainly use CAM Tree Service again in the future.
