We hired Justin to remove 3 trees from our yard that had come down over the previous 2 years. What an eyesore! He and his crew arrived promptly and had the job done in no time. Plus they were super nice! We would definitely hire them again. Great work, thank you!

We were looking for a landscaper to help with some flooding issues so we called Total Lawn Care based on their reviews. Marc answered the call and within a hour he and Justin were at our house looking at the proposed project. Our first impression was that they were very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. We knew right away they were the right guys for the job. Within couple of days we had a detailed, and very fair, written estimate. We decided to go with the project and they kept us in the loop every step of the way as to a potential start.

Once they started work we were amazed with how quickly and efficiently they were able to complete each phase. Both Marc and Justin are incredible knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping and were able to answer all of our questions (which were lots!). Justin took us to a project they had previously completed to give us ideas and then went to the nursery with us to help us pick out new plants. This was great for us as he knew how large they would get, which were for shade and sun, what seasons they would flower, and how many we needed.

They also did some extra work while they were here and pushed back the overgrown jungle next to my yard. They were even able to get us a large load of wood chips to cover this more “rustic” area !

We can’t say enough great things about Marc and Justin as landscape pros and as people. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of landscaping services.

Total Lawn Care and Construction helped us out of a jam. The bluestone steps to our home were falling apart and becoming a hazard for visitors. Justin and Marc showed up quickly, assessed the situation, and fit us into their schedule. The project was completed on time and on budget, and they couldn’t have been friendlier or more cooperative. Take it from us: call these guys first—or you’ll end up calling them later.

Justin and Marc met with us in June and went through our ideas for landscaping our front garden and defining our driveway. Justin immediately had a vision for the project and he and Marc have executed that plan to beyond our expectations! They work extremely hard, they are as honest and transparent as can be when we deviated from the initial design. They come with the hugest recommendation and we look forward to a long standing working relationship for our future projects.

Justin and Marc were terrific at Total Lawn Care and Construction. They installed proper drainage for water flow, cobblestone edging, a bluestone, patio and retaining wall. Additionally, they graded and seeded the lawn. They were knowledgeable, responsive, and went above and beyond. The bonus was they were a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend!

Great small local business with knowledgable and friendly staff. The prices are decent and they have good quality plants, loam, and gravel. They are truly full-service professional landscapers, this is clearly not a big-box operation and it's refreshing.

Grandscapes consistently provides first rate landscaping services at reasonable, competitive rates. They also stand behind their work. I found their shrubs/trees/flowers of very high quality. Highly recommend them.

Do not get any fence work done by this company. Poor workmanship and quality. Fence fell done after a storm and they refused to make good after only second season. Had to call them several times prior to fence collapse stating the wooden posts and panels were not secure. Never fixed it right!!!
Awful company to deal with. Paid them close to $30 k and that completely disregarding our problem once they got paid in full.

I hired Grandscapes last spring to do quite a bit of work in my yard. At first, they were great, coming to the house to discuss the plans, plants, shrubs, etc. The planting went well until we neared the end of the job, then everything fell apart. There were 12 small plants that were not delivered, 8 small plants and shrubs that were dying, a Hinoki Cypress that was dying, and the "focal point" plant in front of the house never arrived. I called Grandscapes once a week for 3 or 4 weeks and never got through to the owner nor did he return my call. Finally a woman from Grandscapes (I got the impression that she was part of the office staff) and a young helper showed up with some of the missing plants and planted them in no particular order. I called her attention to the other plants and shrubs that were dying and she said she would tell the owner.
I began calling again, once a week for a few weeks, and was put through to Chris who clearly had little idea of what to say to me. He told me that due to the drought last spring (I watered the plants faithfully every day or every other day) and the gypsy moth caterpillars, some plants were likely to die. I told Chris that the caterpillars eat the leaves but do not harm the roots of the plants, but Chris was sticking to his story. He said he would come out to prune the Hinoki Cypress (to try to save it) but Grandscapes' work is guaranteed for only 3 months. I did eventually receive reimbursement for 1 plant that was beyond dead. Someone came to the house (I wasn't home) with the "focal point" plant and planted it. It was a plant of which I already have 3 in the yard, am not particularly fond of, and will grow to be a large shrub, thereby blocking the front window. The Cypress was not trimmed, and only one of the shrubs that had died was replaced. After calling Grandscapes numerous times -- again -- I was put through to Chris who again only reiterated his practiced explanation for the dying plants but offered to have the owner get back to me. I knew this wasn't going to happen and told Chris, "thanks, but no thanks."
I'm not sure where the business owner/customer relationship broke down, but it certainly did. I'm very disappointed in Grandscapes and would NOT recommend them.

Over the years our experience with Grandscapes has been terrific. The masonry work, landscaping, plantings and lawn maintenance was all first rate, very professional and done on time.
