If I could give this company negative stars, I would. Our family, of elderly/disabled people worked hard to save up a lot of money for an expensive vacation. This company was SO disrespectful... Woke us up before 8am right outside our window, with no warning, blasting music, extremely loud power tools and machines directly outside our window, horrible ruckus, blowing dust at everyone. Woke up out of a sound sleep having a full panic attack due to the extreme noise out of nowhere, and gave me a Migraine/pain flare up. I rarely sleep and I expected I would be allowed to get a little rest and recovery on vacation, and not have some selfish company trigger my disability when I'm supposed to be relaxing, but Grandscapes disagreed with that. I see you have good reviews, but it's not just about quality of the work, it's about respecting people, empathy, consideration, customer service, knowing the environment, social awareness, caring about your customers.

I very seldom write reviews but had to share our experience with Grandscapes. We needed landscaping around our pool including expansion of our patio. We can't say enough about this company. After calling a few companies, Grandscapes was clearly way above the rest in terms of returning calls, showing up for appointments and understanding our goals. Grandscapes' owner, Peter responded immediately to my initial inquiry, met with us within 2 days, designed the project, started and finished when they promised. Peter took the time to listen and understand our goals, creating and executing the plan without us having to worry about anything.
The completed project was more than what we had hoped for turning our pool and patio into a tropical oasis. We are so impressed with the project itself, and just as important with every aspect of Grandscapes' business. The professionalism and understanding of the customer needs permeates the entire company.

Every detail is meticulously managed. Every crew member was polite, always had a smile and a 'good morning', answered any questions we had, and worked very hard. Rick, and his crew was a delight to work with and so knowledgeable!

Peter Grandin, owner of Grandscapes design is your guy. My house was built in the 50s and the plantings surrounding it were, most likely, the same age. They were high maintenance, outdated, and very, very tired. Unfortunately, they needed to go because the house needed a new look. However, I had no idea where to begin. I called Grandscapes and Peter came to my home for a consultation. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. He listened intently to every word I had to say. He asked about my likes, dislikes, color preference, budget and the look I wished to achieve. Within minutes, he had a vision in his head, knowing exactly what I needed to make my tired little yard look new and fresh again. This was a whole new experience for me, and I needed someone to hold my hand and walk me through the process, and Peter did just that, every step of the way. He answered every phone call or text within minutes and assured me that I would be thrilled with the result and he was 100% correct. I will be recommending Peter and his team to anyone and everyone with the utmost confidence that you would not be disappointed. Very happy with the customer service that Peter gave our family from the beginning. Within 24 hours, we received a personal phone call and scheduled an appointment for us to go over our ideas on a new patio. Peter was able to consult with us on our wants/needs to be able to come up with a great design. He worked within our budget to ensure we were getting the highest quality. His team was so friendly and kept us updated along the way. They worked quickly and diligently in the heat to make the install move so we can enjoy. The attention to detail was very high and you can tell they take pride in their work. When I had questions, answers were provided fast and addressed, no questions asked! I 100% recommend Grandscapes if you are looking for a professional team who cares about their customers!

Grandscapes has been great. We use them for stonework, lighting, plantings, mowing and maintenance. We just needed some work done in advance of an upcoming event and they took care of it right away — with their work crews working through the rain. Peter, Andy and their work crews have been great.

If I could give this company a zero I would. Last September had 4 trees planted so I could have shade in my front yard. They were not the healthiest looking trees but I babied them through the fall. One tree did not make it. Peter assured me they would be replaced if any died. In May it was obvious one was dead. Called to get a replacement and was asked to send photo which I did. No call back, called again no call back, finally went to store and they said they would replace. Still no tree. Called again, went again, finally Peter called and said too hot and they will come in September and he would send someone to remove dead tree, which they did. After 1st week in September called. They did call back and said they will be there Sept. 13. Stayed home all day, missed out on to functions I really wanted to go to. Still no tree. Obviously it takes a lot for me to write a review but in this case I felt it was necessary.

I hired Grandscapes to regrade, compact, and edge my driveway using natural stone for the main material. A front walkway was installed with mixed shade bluestone and a stone veneer wall entrance. The yard was fine graded, then spread with hydroseed. Peter was professional, knowledgeable, and understood my requirements. The masonry is amazing, just beautiful. The landscaping was provided as discussed. The plantings were installed, however much smaller than I anticipated. My only dissatisfaction is a low grade area in the driveway which puddles when it rains. I spoke to Peter about remediation, he said he would come by when it rained, but has not come to date.(11 months)

Peter came out and helped us design green giants to provide privacy in lieu of a fence, moved boxwoods next to our shed, and designed a front landing for our stairs. We were stalled for years not knowing what to put there, Peter did an amazing job recommending pavers w a charcoal border. Amazing outcome and we are living it. Mark is a professional and leads the crew who are just awesome, polite, hard working, and skilled. I would highly recommend Grandin!!!

Patio and brick walkway.. Also most shrub and tree planting, grass and bed maintenance.
All work is professional and carefully done.
The inevitable issues that occasionally arise are respectfully addressed and resolved with either Peter or Andy I believe he treats his staff fairly and they happily do their jobs.

Grandscapes has done multiple projects for me over the years including bluestone patios, brick driveways, stone walls and related landscaping. Attention to detail is paramount and budgets and timelines are met. Grandscapes is a reliable, quality operator.

have been working with GrandScapes since I moved to Rhode Island 8 years ago. What started out as a backyard privacy landscape project, has evolved over the years with continued service. They now manage all of our seasonal maintenance, as well as multiple different landscaping and even hardscape projects - they’ve custom built a bluestone patio, a new cedar fence, and number natural rock retaining walls. The team is very experienced and knowledgeable, works promptly, and most importantly they are always kind.

Another great job at our home in Narragansett by Pete Grandin and his crew!! Todd was our lead guy on this project and he was fabulous. His co-worker Jeff was right there following up making sure everything was cleaned and in great condition when they left each day. Todd kept checking in to be sure that he was doing exactly what we wanted. Great communication skills. Thank you Grandscapes!!

They did a beautiful job. The workers all worked together happily and beautiful. They were helpful and polite. Replaced cedar shingles on the exterior. It looks great.
