Reviews of local pros in Wakefield, Rhode Island

I had my laundry and utility room floor done . DiStefano Concrete was one of the most professional companies I’ve dealt with in the two years my home has been under construction. They have a wonderful team from the sales person to the project manager, to the workers that came, Cory and Luis did a fabulous job. They made sure to protect the flooring, worked hard, cleaned up well, and made sure I was happy with the results. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone!!!

My garage floor is the envy of the neighborhood. Gone are the oil stains, water stains and white lime powder that emits from the old concrete surface. I had an 8 foot long crack in the floor that has completely disappeared. My Camaro convertable loves it's new home too!

We recently had our garage floor finished. Every step of the process was professional. From the presentation given by Steve Medgyesy to the installation done by Cory, Jared and Jossy. Every member of the DiStefano team was polite, curious and professional. Our garage was transformed into another room in our home. We would wholeheartedly recommend DiStefano Brothers for home improvement projects.

Excellent. They coated my garage floor. Staff was very friendly professional. The job was completed quickly on schedule.

We had a great experience working with DiStefano Brothers for our outdoor patio and expoxy flooring project on Block Island this summer. Justin and team were easy to work with from estimates to installation. Communication and excution was excellent (which is often a challenge when factoring boat schedules, island transportation etc on Block Island). I highly recommend and would use again.

Wonderful company! They renovated our home and built a guest cottage over a two-year time period. Great attention to detail and reasonably priced. Many terrific and skilled workers, and our project manager, Tom Ragan, is the absolute best.

We had contemplated redoing our garage floor ourselves for the 3rd time using epoxy. It just never lasts very long. We made a very fortunate decision to contact DiStefano Brothers to have the work done professionally. Our first call was answered by Domenic Distefano. Impressive start that one of the brothers answered our call. He scheduled our appointment himself. Sydney showed up on our appointment date. You could not ask for a nicer young woman than her. She was very thorough, explaining the process to us, how the work would be accomplished and she answered all of our questions, too. She is a true professional who loves what she is doing and it shows. We picked our color and signed the deal. The installers showed up right on time on the day the work was to begin. Junior and Teago were there on day one. Roberto joined them the next day. On the first day, they sanded down the floor to the concrete, fixed the cracks and totally prepared the floor to be coated. They had to apply a coat of moisture barrier which had to dry overnight. They returned the next day on the time they said they would. They applied the next two layers and were done by around 1:30 p.m. They only stopped briefly for a break each day. They, too, were true professionals, transforming our garage into a masterpiece. We still can't get over how good it looks. We feel like our cars are parked in an auto dealership showroom. Five Stars Plus for the DiStefano Brothers Team. Top to bottom they are the best in the business!

We used them for a major home re-model & it was a terrific experience from beginning to end. Our house is now so gorgeous & impressive. It turned out much better than I could have hoped for. Things were always explained up front, they were very professional & it was a real team approach.

If you ever have a dream of something you wanna build and are looking for someone to turn that dream into a reality…but then make it even better…than call DiStefano Brothers. My wife and I reached out a year ago with an idea. At each step of the process, we were guided by their amazing team. The bill/payment schedule was clear and communicated, the expectations were exceeded, the entire process was transparent and consistent. Every member of the team we worked with made us feel like we were their most important clients. Tom, Kaitlin, Toby, Eric, Johnny, Ronnie, Jimmy, and countless others, were members of our family throughout the entire project and were always able to answer or guide us no matter the situation. Like I said, if you wanna build a dream project look no further!!

DiStefano Brothers Construction recently completed a kitchen remodel in our home. Transforming our dated, dark, inefficient space into a bright and functional kitchen, ready to tackle the demands of modern life.

From the initial consultation to the final touches, the team made the entire process enjoyable. The quality of the craftsmanship and the beautiful design have transformed our kitchen into a space we love and cannot wait to use. The attention to detail, professionalism, and execution truly exceeded our expectations.

We cannot thank the team enough for their hard work and bringing our vision to life.

Jared and Ryan just left the job at our home.  The first thing my wife said this morning was, "They both (Jared and Ryan) have a wonderful work ethic"! I agree, both worked hard all day, and stayed on task all day!

They were outstanding and a pleasure to have do this project.  Also, many thanks to Adam who took my calls and or text messages, and got back to me very quickly, answered my questions, was honest and straight forward from the get go.  Also, thanks to Mike, who also called and answered my text, again, almost immediately, even though it was after work hours.

All these people is what makes an organization great!  In my opinion,  they deserve a great deal of credit for the customer service and work ethic that is so hard to find these days.

Our sincere thanks to Jared and Ryan, for your hard work and dedication to detail.  You made it all worth it!

Jay and Ethan, with precision, provided a beautifully coated garage floor with amazing curb appeal. Michele promised a high-quality product with exceptional installation and delivered.

We are so happy with our new garage floor coating. The product is exceptional. The installers were so professional and answered my questions. Great customer service. Josh was always available to answer any questions and kept us up to date regarding the installation time and process. I highly recommended this company and I will be telling my friends and neighbors about this company. Thank you DiStefano!

Destefino Brothers ground the epoxy off my concrete floor in preparation for the application of cork tiles. From Steve and Mike in the office to Justin and Devin in the field they were professional, came when they promised, and did a wonderful job. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

DiStefano Brothers did a fantastic job at our work site, Central Assembly of God in Wauregan. We couldn't be more happier with the wonderful job they did for us! They are a very professional job and their goal is to please their customers. You will not be disappointed with the work and care they put into your project.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings!!!!

Working with DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings was a fantastic experience. If there was one word to describe them, it would be PROFESSIONAL. They put down a coating system in my home garage/shop at a fraction of the cost of other companies, without any sacrifices!

From the start, Adam was prompt and knowledgeable when he visited for the initial consultation and quote. He wasn't pushy and wanted to make sure I was comfortable making a decision. Communication has been great and he even followed up after the sale and after the work was completed!

The gentlemen that showed up the day of to do the install were very prompt and professional. Throughout the very chilly day they worked almost non-stop, knowing there was impending rain coming. They managed to finish up the job in 1 day, saving having to keep some weather sensitive equipment from being outside the following night. There were a few blemishes, mostly due to the wind and leaves being down, and they came back within a week to correct the small issues, you can't even tell they were back to work on it! Very satisfied customer!

This company and their employees are amazing to deal with! Adam was my contact/came out to get an estimate and idea for my project. It turned out amazing! He was super helpful and they gave me every option i asked for. On top of that he was just super friendly. I was able to contact him at every interval/step of the process and they fit me in for the install as fast as they could. I really could not ask for anything better. Their prices are premium BUT there is a HOST of reasons for this from how they treat you, to the outcome of the project. They went above and beyond filling cracks, holes, crags etc in my garage. Basically neither of my bay doors were air tight due to the bottoms concrete being pitted etc. They fixed these without me even really requesting it and also other various spots i thought they would not be able to get to. If you want good flooring for your garage or whatever. Go through these guys! Ive included before and after photos.

Buyer Beware. I contracted with DiStefano for a greenhouse project on my property. They are all "smoke and mirrors". They take you into their fancy office and show you their fancy software (that they never used), and once they have your money, they drag your project out as long as possible. I ended up firing them after six months of them doing absolutely nothing for me. You do not need them to do your project. They will overcharge you for services other contractors do for them. Go small, go local, or simply find your own vendors. I have received my second deposit back from them, and a small portion of my first deposit. And now, instead of admitting their neglect and lack of work (they basically take money under false pretenses) I am forced to sue for the balance or accept being taken advantage of. Just be careful. They are just a "name". But it means nothing apparently. I ended up finding my own vendors for each phase of my project, at a substantial savings. And I am happy to refer any other them to you. Good luck!

Great team to work with from the top down. You could tell all the team members (esp Toby, Tim, Cole, Steve, Tom R and Tom W) cared about the project and our family. They were on time, on budget and very easy to work with as we adapted along the way. We dormered out two sides of our cape to increase room size and gain closets. From the first demo day to the last finishing touches I was pleased along the way and highly recommend for any home improvements, you get what you pay for!

DiStefano Brothers Construction did a complete gut and remodel of my 1950's home. Communication was excellent from start to finish. I walked in with a good idea of what I wanted but the architects and designers took my plans up a notch with improvements I had not considered. The DBC crew are not just talented and incredibly competent, they're also really good people. I enjoyed getting to know them. Each of the carpenters did something special for me above and beyond the plans, and I really appreciated those personal touches. I LOVE my house!!! DBC will not be the lowest estimate you receive, but with them you absolutely get what you pay for. I recommend them without hesitation.

We had looked at a few contractors who do remodeling projects in southern RI and chose Tom W. & DiStefano Bros. to reconfigure a decrepit deck and replace it with a new deck and screen room, attached to the house at the kitchen/dining area.
Fitting what we wanted onto the space to work with we had was a challenge from the start, but we were expertly guided by Tom R. and his engineer, Tim and agreed on a solid design.
It took some time to work through the permitting process, but when the work began, we found the DBC team to be true professionals. The work was started when promised, the site was kept neat, and a few necessary design changes were handled gracefully and amicably. The building work was done expertly and with care.
Communications were frequent, with nice photos of the site and captions provided via text at least 2 or 3 times a week. Hats off to Toby, Tim, Cole, Ronnie, Dave & anyone on the site I might not have met!
The project turned out to be a little more expensive than we had originally budgeted for - but the beautiful result will last and is something we'll enjoy with family & friends for years to come, God willing!
