Highly professional and responsive, always very organized and clean, extreme attention to detail, continuous communication and outcomes that surpassed our expectations. Stonehaven did a great job on our bathroom shower remodel from start to finish. We had some pretty unique requests, and were trying to recreate a classic tiled vintage bathroom vibe. They understood our vision and went along with it even though I’m sure it wasn’t the usual style of bathroom they see! Extra kudos to Nicole, who was an absolute star of this project - she graciously communicated with us the whole way and helped us handle some difficulties with the tile vendor we ordered from. We highly recommend Stonehaven and their team and look forward to the next project we can have them do at our house!

Chris and his team did a great job replacing our roof and caulking our windows. On time and did not leave mess.

Did our Masterbath. Paid for items that our project manager Stacy asked us to and he said that it was no problem that we would be reimbursed for what wasn’t used or returned. Stacy lied!!! We got a nasty call from the owner stating that they would not reimburse us from the items we returned and paid for.

Christopher, Michael and the WHOLE staff at StoneHaven are AWESOME! They were quick to respond to my inquiry, answered my questions and took time to educate me on what I didn’t know. I truly appreciated that! I would recommend (and I do) them to anyone needing remodeling services. You can’t go wrong!!!

Stonehaven did a full gut of our master converting our never used tub into an amazing shower. we were so impressed with all the folks they used for each job. Very respectful and hard working.

We were interested in having them remodel bathroom and add an addition. Mike called stating he might be late because he had to be in court Monday morning. Okay understood life happens but when he finally arrived it was a waste of my husband's time and Mike's time. Mike was not interested in the project we wanted completed it was as if we weren't his type of customers.

We hired Stonehaven to do a kitchen remodel. Michael, project manager, was professional and conscientious. Despite covid related delays, etc. he made sure I was able to use my kitchen for Christmas. And it was nice to know that when they were in a pinch in the office, the owner stepped in to handle calls.

We have this disaster created by Stonehaven Remodeling! We asked salesman Stacy to renovate our master shower to a roll-in wheelchair accessible shower . We explained health concerns including spinal fusions, knee surgeries, lung cancer/COPD which may cause one of us to need wheelchair access in the future. Three months we’ve been at this. Apparently Stacy did not communicate to the workers that it was to be a roll-in shower. They put in a WEDI shower tray ,with a 2 inch lip. When my husband asked how the wheelchair could get in, the tile mason tub on site said “ lift up the front of the wheelchair and lift it in!” Our original 4 year old shower did not have a lip that high! That’s when they added an unsightly ramp with trip points at 3 edges , as nothing was flush with surrounding flooring. The ramp is twice as steep as the ADA mandated 1:12 ratio. I could not push my hubby up the bumpy 1:6 ramp . Owner Chris Chambers refuses to make it right . He’s keeping our $ 3100 down payment . We will fight later in court and are preparing an official BBB complaint . ( They told us our complaint was too serious to just do a review) . Chris refuses to give us the references and pictures that Stacy promised us they have of other baths remodeled for the same reasons. Stacy had said they had done “ thousands” . Now we’ve no choice but to find a real pro , tear it all out , and start over.

Stonehaven built our deck. Everyone was so professional. Stacey, Dimitri, Mike and the women in the office were great. They kept me updated and always responded quickly if I had a question. I highly recommend Stonehaven.

Had a shower and tub removed and replaced with a tile shower and tile flooring in guest bathroom. Quality of tile work, flooring and Glassdoor installation was very good. Plumbing and painter did good work. Communication could have been a little better, but overall job was done in a reasonable time frame. We love our new bathroom!

Stacy quoted our job efficiently and the work came in under budget which rarely ever happens with a contractor. Mike was our PM and stayed on top of the job and Demitri did a great job with all of the finishing work. We would definitely work with them again.

Stonehaven was professional from start to finish, with reliable and capable subs, and for us they were most responsive and flexible. Stacy helped turn our ideas into reality and Michael and Chris walked us through this challenging time for everyone due to COVID. Gil was super friendly as he handled a variety of jobs. Turned our dreary bleached screen porch into a four-season sunroom and built a fantastic banquette in the kitchen. Great for Baxter, Tega Cay, Fort Mill and beyond.

Stonehaven did an amazing job refinishing a basement room which was demo'd to fix basement water leaks by DryPro. They were instrumental in helping guide me in the process to a proper foundation contractor to finish with the room back to 100%! I'm planning to have Stonehaven build a garage for me this year and I know that project will go just great as well! I highly recommend Stonehaven!

The entire Stonehaven team was top notch in every way-- fantastic work ethic, professionalism, craftsmanship and creativity!! My husband and I have had lots of experience with contractors in the past, but saying goodbye to this crew was bittersweet-- like saying so long to family. Our kitchen looks GORGEOUS-- from the island and cabinets,... to the millwork and stonework... to the paint and new doors,.. and oh my gosh the lighting!! Stonehaven pays fine attention to all the little details-- seems everyday we pick out a new favorite feature. We now call our kitchen our "happy place", and makes it hard to want to leave home for any length of time. We're already planning our next renovation project, and it's such a relief to know we have a trusted partner in Chris and his team! 😄😁😀

Did a master bath remodel. Stacy, the Project Mgr was excellent in his communications. We know what was happening each day, and who was going to be there. All of the subs were courteous and respectful of the surroundings, keeping the work area clean at the end of every day. The final cost came within 5% of the estimate even after I added a couple of things during the process! We enjoyed working with the team, and would recommend them to anyone!

We are disheartened to share our frustrating experience but we would like to warn others from going down the same road and losing time and money.

After meeting with a Stonehaven sales representative, we made a deposit for half of the estimated project cost on September 9, 2022.

On October 11, 2022 we reached out to the office as we had not heard from anyone at Stonehaven. We had not been given a Project Manager or received any communication on the project. Office staff indicated that she would speak to the owner and we would get a call back.

We made 7 additional calls requesting to speak with the owner. We were told the owner was busy, sick, working on other projects etc.

October 29, 2022 Chris Chambers returned our calls. He stated that he had not looked at our project file. During the call Chris did not listen to our concerns about the lack of communication from Stonehaven, or that our project had not begun and no materials had been ordered. Chris did not acknowledge any company shortcomings. We signed a carbon copy paper, agreeing to the estimates for a remodel and gave a deposit. No one at any time reviewed or discussed contract stipulations.

At our request to cancel the contract prior to the commencement of work on the project, ordering appropriate supplies or preparation for the project by Stonehaven, Chris indicated that he would be deducting 10% of the quoted cost of the remodel.

In the end, Chris kept a portion of our deposit in the sum of $1,628.71 and justified his actions by saying that he had paid his staff commissions and to cover administrative fees for our project that never started, no work was done and no materials were ordered.

There is no way we could recommend working with Stonehaven Remodeling.
