Greg Dunlap repaired my dock In Tega Cay on Lake Wylie which was in great need of work. Greg did a spectacular job. He is a true professional. Greg’s knowledge and ingenuity in construction is unmatched. He is honest, fair and most importantly a true craftsman who I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in need of dock work whether it be repair or new construction.

We are very pleased with the outcome of our complete dock experience with Todd. We live in a different state and communications were always open and explained to us before moving on to the next step. We chose to go with the WearDeck product recommended by Todd Flowers in order to have dock free maintenance. We are very happy with the color and build of our dock. It was built so it can have a boat lift or second floor in the future. Highly recommend!

For those of us who have purchased lakefront property that has not been maintained properly .. what is referred to as “A Fixer Upper”. You know that your list of projects will be long and that you will need to prioritize what you start first.

In our case, we needed to stabilize the shoreline to prevent further erosion. There are a number of alternatives that you might use ... but if you are a first time lakefront property owner your knowledge about which alternative is best for your property is limited.

That is where Lake Wylie Dock Construction came In.

Todd Flowers and Greg Dunlap are the co-owners of the business and make a great team. One phone call and an appointment to look at my property and come up with a recommended approach to stabilize my shoreline was quickly made. In fact they both came out same day.

They both walked my property and measured the shoreline and recommended that the best alternative to stabilize my shoreline was to install Rip/Rap. They walked us through their process and estimated timeline for the project and within the hour gave me a comprehensive estimated of cost of labor and material and the timeline of the project.

It should be noted that our project also included the install of stone steps into the water so we can easily launch Kayaks and Paddle Boards or just go swimming.

Flash forward .. to completion - the project came in on time and on budget .. they did an excellent job !!!

As a further note .. both Todd and Greg live on Lake Wylie and they know their stuff and understand what it is like to live on Lake Wylie. They treated my property like they would treat their own.

We shopped around with a few of the well known builders in the area before we finally found LWDC. I'm so happy we did! They are so responsive and flexible. These guys run a high quality and professional crew. They were always available and patient with my 6000 questions. They gave the best work and the best price. As of writing this, everyone in the construction industry has a wait list. These guys are worth the wait, trust me.

I had a very complicated project and Lake Wylie Dock Construction found a solution.

LWDC offers a solar power boat lift that was another solution I was looking for to eliminate the need for electrical power.   The system will run the lift, three lights, and has a remote control.

Todd spend the time to show me a finished project with the boat lift system.

LWDC’s communication is outstanding, and they are very accessible through phone/text.

Greg and his team’s craftsmanship and attention to detail was outstanding.  Greg Dunlap is amazing, talented and will take extra steps to make the project perfect.

The previous dock builders left out very vital lag bolds to keep the dock from falling in. Without any hesitations during the project Greg and his team fixed the issue.  Additionally, they installed a couple kayak racks which freed up more space on the dock.

I highly recommend Lake Wylie Dock Construction for any of your dock and boat lift needs.

Greg Dunlap's work is superb! He is a craftsman and his attention to detail is evident in every cut and joint. The three jobs he did for us were completed on time despite a couple of changes we made during the projects. We will definitely work with Greg for our planned future projects.
