Shawn was great about listening to what we wanted and sharing ideas and suggestions. His experience helped us to refine our plans. As we got into the actual work Shawn was open to changes and additions. As much as you can with hardscape work, he kept things orderly and did a great job of cleaning up the yard when they were done. The end result is just what we hoped. He and his team were pleasant and easy to work with.

Shawn and his team were very professional and did excellent work creating our patio. He even had his guys redo the patio after not liking the seem layout when they were roughly half done. Also, he sent his guys back out to fix a damaged paver.

Shawn and his crew were prompt with their services and stuck to the time line as discussed. This was so refreshing after having dealt with several other contractors recently who have no respect for your time. Shawn was honest with his recommendations and his pricing was very competitive. They did a great job widening our driveway, very informative re: ideas to alter our existing sprinkler system and cleaned up great after the job! Will definitely use them again!

Shawn and his crew are great . His company completed whole new high end stone paver patio complete with rock wall seating and fire pit for us. We wanted something elegant and high end. He delivered over what I anticipated. I would highly recommend and if I need any work in the future, he will be my first call.

If you want someone passionate and that pays attention to detail Shawn is your guy. He completely transformed our backyard this year with a paver patio, fireplace, and retaining wall, all of which was done flawlessly. Being the typical homeowner I had reservations about the end result (No reflection on Shawn, totally my own programming) but I quickly learned that Shawn takes great pride in his work and I had nothing to worry about.
Each time my wife and I go onto the patio I quietly thank my lucky stars that we went with Shawn. The end result is spectacular.

Shawn and his team were extremely helpful in grading our backyard. After removing trees and bamboo, our backyard was uneven and had major water issues. Shawn recommended strategic grading to help water flow and avoid costly drainage installation. Would definitely recommend his services!

Shawn and his team were very easy to work with. I wanted this work done asap and Shawn was able to fit me in and still provide quality work. The price was very reasonable especially when you consider that the prep work took longer than expected because of some old tree roots left over from the construction. I had my driveway expanded 10' x 31' and I am very pleased with the end product. I highly recommend Powell Concrete for this type of work. We picked Shawn to build our patio after securing estimates from several other contractors. Shawn was not the least expensive, but he was very reasonable and the easiest to deal with. Not pushy or trying to influence what we wanted to do with the project. Offered suggestions when asked and listened to what we wanted. He was extremely patient as we were somewhat indecisive on a couple of selections. The project took a little longer than expected, but Shawn kept busy and was on the job every day (weather permitting) until it was finished to our satisfaction. He has done several projects in our neighborhood and we saw his workmanship before we hired him. Other homeowners were equally complimentary of the work Shawn and his crew did for them. Overall, a first rate experience. We would recommend him to anybody looking for patio/landscape work.

I wanted to do a big patio project - to give us the space to sit and grill outside. Shawn came next day to give estimates. Gave us very reasonable estimate compare to other contractors we called who took weeks to even come out.

Project took little longer than expected due to weather, unavoidable circumstances. Everything came out as we expected. There were few things we wanted to change on the fly, Shawn was very flexible changing it with very reasonable estimate and sometimes he didn’t even charge for change request even though it might have cost him some money.

I would definitely recommend him for a project.

Shawn and his team offered competitive pricing and top quality workmanship to complete an open patio extension from an existing covered patio. The patio was designed to complement the existing patio to include a gas grill station and seating space. We are very pleased with their work and attention to detail.
