Disappointed they never bothered to contact me after meeting with owner at the Home Show last week. Why set up a booth if you don't follow through on your leads.

Crew did great work. Quick work very happy with the recommended plants for my house. Only one plant seems to not be coming in well. But all the other choices seem very good.

Well, at first we loved John and his design for our yard. John came up with a great plan and set a date. Work finally started two months after the planned date due to weather issues but we were still excited to get our back yard done. They all worked very hard and were very courteous throughout. When they finished it was just like we planned. Then it started to go down hill. Within two months our stone paver patio began to sink. We got a hold of John and he said he would fix it. Approximately 60 days later his guys showed up, pulled up the pavers, leveled the patio out with sand, set the pavers, and left. AWESOME right ! Well, come spring and our patio sunk again. We emailed, texted and called John. When I finally spoke with him he said he gets so many emails and texts that he can't read them all. I told him what was happening and he asked me to email him pictures and he would let me know what it would cost to fix it. I was a little annoyed because he built it and now we need to pay him to fix his own work but, I just wanted it fixed. A few months have now passed and, no John. Probably never even opened the email. I have washed my hands of him and have hired another company to come fix the patio.

If needed I will post pictures but the grading done prior to my sod installation started the whole project off wrong. There is standing water in a significant portion of the back yard and I provided John with pictures during a rain and after his grading but prior to the sod install but he put the sod down anyway without addressing my concerns. I was correct! 34 military years taught me not to speak unless I was sure I was correct. You can’t tell John ANYTHING because he insists he knows better but it is proven he does not. It was clearly in need of a top dresser dozer and I offered to pay for one but John Glaser insisted he could do it with a Harley rake…wrong. Then when the sod was put it (14,000 sq/ft plus) there were gaps up to 3” between rows of sod which now one year later have still not filled in. I contacted a true professional to come get it fixed and he asked if I installed the sod myself…that’s how bad it was! At a price if $38,000 I expected more. The professional I contacted charged another $5000 to put down 20,000 pounds of sand but was up front telling me that it would not fix the problem but make it better. He also advised it would likely need it again next year. Cumberland Landscape Group’s’ John Glaser said he could fix it with a wheelbarrow and a couple of laborers…the professional I chased used spreading equipment, had to drag it and more. It could never be fixed with a wheelbarrow and manual labor! Should you use them? You make the call. He even had the nerve to say some of his poor reviews were his competition saying negative things! I find that harder to believe now than ever…in my humble opinion ALL of those reviews likely came from dissatisfied customers. Like me. They got two stars from me for showing up when I called but Taft was a gift!

John is AWESOME to work with and had great ideas on how our yard should look. His team did a fantastic job from start to finish. Our yard had a big slope to conquer and they did it. I would highly recommend Cumberland Landscape Group and have already made plans to have them back for our next project.

Metro lawn care is by far the best .my family has tried several different lawn care places and metro is detailed they care about doing a very good job ...they even work in the rain sometimes
