Never heard back from Nick after I said that I do not want the “cost-plus” project plan for a $1M+ house which is an easy fall-back for a contractor who does not want to invest the time in producing a detailed estimate. This is financially dangerous as neither the customer nor the contractor knows what the project will eventually end up costing. The problem with this approach is that the contractor has no real incentive to complete the job quickly or cheaply – the longer he takes and more he spends, the larger his profit.

Nicholas Construction built our house from the ground up. We are very satisfied with the thorough and professional job. Nick does things right, which is what we wanted in a builder. Highly recommend.
