They came out on a Sunday and repaired my air conditioning unit, which had failed. Considering the circumstances, I thought the charges were quite reasonable.

Do not follow through, took a day off of work to meet estimator at house for AC install estimate, never heard back on estimate, called week later and person who answered sounded like they just woke up (2pm) but would have estimator give me a call with quote shortly, never heard from them again. Finding another contractor.

My elderly mother needed insulation installed. They came out and said would have estimate,after couple days of hearing nothing. She called back,they said would call here right back,week later no calls still. Guess customer service doesn't exist or they only want big money jobs. "Sad" Clinton deserves better.

My Thermostat from a previous installation by another HVAC company was going crazy, I would set it and within a couple of hrs it would just change. No one in the house would touch it. I called Powell Brothers and Kenny came looked it over and got a new thermostat and installed it that day. Thanks Kenny now I dont have to wear my long Johns inside the house durring the summer.

Just terrible. They put in an HVAC system less than 4years ago and have had to come out 7 times. 3 of those times were because it was so loud it was waking is up at night when it came on. 4 times because it completely quit. It has never made it 12 months without needing a repair. The only good things​ I can say about them is they haven't charged me for a repair yet and they have been nice. That is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. Their product is terrible, though, and that is a reflection of the company. I'd rather deal with unpleasant workers if the unit actually worked well. I could have saved a lot of money keeping my old unit and paying for repairs.

Kenny was the only person out of several professionals who correctly diagnosed the problem with our system. He then gave us a fair estimate and his technicians worked hard until the problem was resolved. Pricing and attitudes were great throughout. We will definitely stick with Kenny Powell.

I came home to a cold house and a unit that wasn't responding yesterday being a single mother I was worried my kids would be cold seeing as the temperature had dropped and it was only gonna get colder. I called Powell Brothers whom installed my unit and with in an hour Jeremy was at my house fixing the problem he went out of his way to answer my question and help me, in no time my unit was back up and running. Thank you all so much at Powell Brothers for being so responsive and always going above and beyond!

The office followed up twice with me to make sure the time for the repair of my Google Nest Thermostat met my schedule. The technicians were on time. They were courteous and professional. I had spent over three hours on the phone with Google technical help and crawled under my house twice. They took one look at the thermostat wiring and identified the problem. Fortunately it was a quick fix. (Just to note, the Google technicians on the phone were courteous and worked hard to figure out the problem. They also did not charge me for the repair by Powell Brothers).

I was referred to Powell Bros to come out and look at my Amana Heat and Air Unit because it had quit cooling.I gave my address and ask tech to call as soon as he got close to my home and I would meet him.He called and it took me 5min or less to get to my house.When I pulled up the tech was standing in my driveway.I told him the unit was right around the side and he said he was finished.He had cleaned drain tube and added 3lbs. of freon to unit and said it was fixed and was charged $250 dollars said I would be billed.
Well 45 days later the unit quit again and this time I called another H/A company.They came out and found a leak in the unit and repaired it and added 8lbs. of freon.I really felt that Powell Brothers should have found the leak and repaired it when they came out.Powell Brothers also charged alot more for the freon than the new company.I will not be using Powell Brothers for any repair work in the future.
