I had a difficult drainage problem and after reading the reviews chose to employ William Tucker. He did an excellent job and since then I have had no problems. I would highly recommend William Tucker for your excavating needs.

This company is very good at what they do! They did what was promised and then some, the men worked hard and the boss came out twice to c how things were going and address a concern of mine.

We were blown away with William's level of competency, dedication to doing the job RIGHT, extensive experience, and most of all, his level of integrity and HONESTY. We had misunderstood something and were about to pay him several thousand dollars when he explained that the amount had been covered in what we had already paid. Frankly, we never would have known. We eagerly look forward to engaging him again to do our next project planned for later this year.

I am so happy I found William Tucker. After 2 years of working with terrible contractors, it was a huge relief to have someone who executed what the said they would, had great communication, was on time, and actually stood by their work. William installed a drainage system, graded multiple areas of my property, and completed landscaping for me last week. I am so happy with his work and price and will be calling him again.

William is excellent. Great communication, on schedule, super reliable and seems capable of any project. Very fair price for excellent work. Super humble and easy to work with. I'd hire him again if the need were there.

William and Danny did an excellent job trenching in 2 50ft downspouts. Included a tricky under sidewalk connection. Highly recommend because they are very thorough and detailed. Also, personable and patient. Thank you for a job well done.

We have used WM Tucker for two jobs so far, and we were HIGHLY SATISFIED with both experiences. In the spring of 2020, Mr. Tucker and made our driveway a circle driveway. He used his bobcat to cut out the driveway then redistributed the dirt to help level out uneven places on the yard (he also spread grass seed and hay over these spots). We used crush and run gravel and it is all holding perfectly a year later.

Last week (May 2021), we used WM Tucker for more work in our back yard. We added a gravel ring around our fire-pit for sitting, gravel floor in our barn, and a large gravel rectangle to build an outdoor area for hosting. Once again, Mr. Tucker cut out the areas first with his bobcat, then redistributed the dirt and sod (this area was highly grassy so we were actually able to get a TON of good sod out of it) along the treeline at our house where it had been dirt. We are so very happy with how the job turned out. We are already planning to use WM Tucker again next spring to excavate a small pond.

Mr. Tucker is a very kind, fair, honest, and hard working gentleman. He does whatever it takes to make his client happy and provide professional quality work. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using WM Tucker for any excavating, landscaping, or gravel work you may need.

Great work and price was better than reasonable, even with adding things mid project. I appreciate Mr. Tucker’s work ethic and morals. It was a pleasure working with him and if I have any more projects, he will be my first call.

Update. The August 2021 floods washed out the driveway Wm Tucker installed. Not his fault. From September to November, I was told, "I'll be out next week." I was not expecting to have any work done for free. I explained that I was not blaming him for what nature did. I had to drop my rating from 5 to 3 stars, due to the lack of response to come back out for a paying job with a repeat customer. I guess I should have expected it, considering the lack of professionalism in this area.

William Tucker Excavating and Landscaping did an outstanding job helping us get the property surrounding our new Barndominium in tip-top shape. They are professional, dedicated and hardworking. They have the knowledge and expertise to formulate a plan and execute it on time and on budget with excellent results.

The most professional, polite and capable contractor I had ever had the privilege of working with. Had him level and add a driveway for a 54’x50’ shop and if I need any dirt work done in the future he will be getting a call from me.Two months after he completed the job his sign is still by my mailbox.

We are an HOA of 36 lots in Hickman County,TN. We have about 3 miles of gravel road in our “subdivision”. We contracted William Tucker to grade our roads, install a culvert, and address numerous drainage issues we were experiencing. William was quick to respond and is great to work with. He showed up on time when we had meetings scheduled and gave us a competitive estimate. His work is excellent and his final bill was $450 under his quote. I highly recommend him.

We hired William to level land for a slab foundation for our new home.

He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He went over and above the other companies we received quotes from. He went out to inspect the property more than once to get an accurate quote and plan for us. His quotes were very competitive with others we had received. He started the project right at the time we had discussed (which had been a few months prior). He completed the work timely and did an amazing job. The final project cost came very close to the quoted estimate (it was variable based on the materials needed). He is a great guy, with great work ethic. We highly recommend WM Tucker Excavation!

Mr. Tucker did a fantastic job installing a drain in my yard which I desperately needed due to the sloping nature of my property. I couldn't be more satisfied. He was extremely professional and stayed in contact with me constantly throughout the process. The estimate was very clear and easy to understand unlike the the two previous companies I'd reached out to. They left me with more questions than answers but not Mr. Tucker. He listened to what I wanted and provided excellent results. I will absolutely call him for any future projects. I've now used William Tucker for a couple projects at my new home. He helped us with a building pad for our garage, fixing the grade in multiple areas around our house and putting in a drainage system. He was very fair on price and did a fantastic job each time we used him. I would highly recommend using William for any landscaping, excavating or drainage needs you may have. We reached out to William once more for help with a difficult project that required out of the box thinking. Having worked with him on several previous projects, we knew we could trust him to understand our needs and deliver a quality outcome. We were out of town at the time of the project work and had ZERO doubt William would deliver results on-time, fairly-priced, and backed by his prior deliveries. This is the 2nd time we have worked with WM Tucker. First, he graded and compacted our build site for a 2200 sq ft home. Now, he came out to do final grade, driveway and an RV pad. The grading is perfect. With the recent rain, water is running away from the house just as William said it would. The driveway is about 350 ft and it's solid and smooth. We will be on the newly built RV pad for a few months while we finish the house. William had to move a lot of dirt to build the RV pad and it is better than we could have expected. William is a great guy and he takes great pride in his work. I can really tell that he wants everything to be perfect. He is very good about moving top soil around to minimize purchasing and trucking in extra material. William is great. We highly recommend him!

We had a major water drainage problem in our back yard. Holes were poping up all over the place during heavy rains. We call WM Tucker Excavating. He came out and found several problems, and fixed them. He even went above and beyond to make the back yard amazing. My wife is very happy with the job, and the price was great. William did an amazing job completing our site prep for a metal shop we are adding to our property. He did exactly what he proposed and went above and beyond making sure it was perfect.
