Reviews of local pros in Dickson, Tennessee

Always goes above and beyond my expectations. William takes pride in his work and it shows in the results and time he puts into any project. I have used him now three times and highly recommend calling him for any job big or small!

WM Tucker Excavating and Landscaping did an outstanding job on my driveway and pad for my metal building!! His team was timely and professional. On projects like this you can’t afford to take chances. So if you want a company locally that has the knowledge, experience, and integrity call them today! All this at a price that will not break the bank!!

I had a wonderful experience working with WM Tucker Excavating & Landscaping, from start to finish. I do not understand the work that goes into producing an excellent product such as this, and William walked me through the process, step by step and answered all of my questions. The fact that he was even willing to take photos of the day-to-day progress, made the process easy and stress-free. I will 100% recommend his service to my friends and family in the future.

As you can see from the before and after, his attention to detail and quality speaks for itself.

William Tucker’s work is amazing. Highly recommend him.. He took care of our drainage issue by locating the springs, and putting in drain tile. We went from swampy land to dry! William also took care of the erosion issues we were having with our lane. It Is wonderful to be able to drive down our lane without Having to avoid ruts.

Early this spring we had a culvert to plug up with leaves and twigs causing water to wash over and down our driveway. I called William to come take a look at things and give us some ideas as to how we might repair and prevent this happening in the future. William responded quickly and came out to view the situation. He provided options as to what we might do and gave us what he thought would be the best approach. We gave him the go ahead. He came and did the work - it took a couple of days. We are very happy with the outcome. We've had one heavy rain since the work was done (nearly 5 inches of rain), and the new ditch handled the water perfectly.

William has done work for us before in the spring of 2022. He is really good at sizing up situations and finding ways to solve problems. He is professional in all he does! I would recommend him highly - no reservations.

If you're looking for someone to transform raw, undeveloped land into a solid foundation for your dream home, look no further than William Tucker of WM Tucker Excavating. William is, without a doubt, the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) when it comes to excavating and earthwork 🐐 🐐.

Our lot had a significant slope, but William's expertise and meticulous attention to detail completely redefined the landscape. He excavated, moved, reshaped and compacted the earth to establish an enormous (109' x 100') pad with a grade differential of less than an inch—precision that is nothing short of extraordinary. This is the kind of sound craftsmanship that ensures our home will stand strong for generations to come 🏠💪.

He didn’t stop there. William also installed a construction driveway and water line, demonstrating the same level of care and precision throughout. It's clear he takes pride in doing the job right the first time, and his deep knowledge and conscientious approach gave me complete confidence every step of the way 🔑 ✅.

Although the project isn’t fully complete—he’ll be returning for part two to handle final grading, the finish driveway, and other details once the home is built—there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he’ll deliver the same exceptional quality. The work already completed is a masterclass in excellence 🛠️ 🏅.

If you want someone who genuinely cares about your project as much as you do, someone who has the skill, experience, and dedication to make it happen perfectly, William Tucker is your guy. He’s not just an excavator—he’s an artist with earth and the 🐐 GOAT in his field. Highly, highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely amazing! 1.5 acres of poorly drained and compacted soil from a home build in 2011. When we arrived Summer of 2022 we noticed the water "ponding" along the North Side of the house and foundation. We went from a couple French Drain quotes to asking Mr. Tucker to do a nice pond for us. See photos, you will be amazed. Concrete block basement used to "seep" until Mr. Tucker's work August-September 2022. Since then, and very heavy rains on off past 3 years, dry as a bone and our yards is a thing of beauty. Mr. Tucker was patient ALWAYS on time, worked extra hours for us to make it right. When we received our quote my wife said "That's it we stick to budget no extras! 6 weeks into Tucker work wife said "He's good I want a pond and holes dug for trees. My wife spending more on excavating? Speaks volumes LOL. Brick homes, settling foundation, poor drainage, or leaky basement /crawl space, WM Tucker of Dickson TN is the best. Mr. Tucker came by this year (2025) asking how we were doing and making sure his work was still sound, nice follow up and dedication to customer service! First 2 photos are BEFORE last 2 are after. Amazing work

We had a problem with rainwater flooding our front yard for years, and it just kept getting worse. After this past spring’s storms, water started getting into our crawlspace and even our garage. We contacted a few people for help, but calling Mr. Tucker was the best decision I made.
He was reliable, honest, and knowledgeable — gave us options, a fair quote right on time, and got to work quickly. He installed a drainage system that gives me peace of mind now when it rains.
I can’t praise William enough and wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again. Highly recommend!

If you want a job done right, hire traditional landscape. Brystol was top notch!! Not only did they do a beautiful job their customer service, communication, and attitudes were first class. Did I mention great pricing! If you want a complete transformation HIRE TRADITIONS LANDSCAPING.

Traditions landscaping is one of the hot new upcoming landscape companies in the Nashville area. These young men are very dedicated to their craft. They do tons of research, work closely with their clients and make sure everyone is satisfied, You won’t find anyone more dedicated and more talented. We are very, very pleased!

They did my grandparents yard and they won’t stop talking about it. They went above and beyond in every way possible I would not recommend anyone else!

I hired traditions landscape to do a full remodel at my home and they did a great job with the landscape mold and retaining wall. The next time I need someone to do a concrete driveway I will hire them.

We hired traditions landscape, and they did a phenomenal job with our paver walkway. I would hire them in the future. The next time I need landscapers for mold, weeding and stone install I will hire a traditions landscape.

These guys did a great job doing design and install at traditions landscape in the future. I will hire them in Nashville, Tennessee. I specifically live in Brentwood Tennessee and hire them for landscapers near me. The next time I need mulch and rock install, I will hire traditions landscape

Do not use Traditions Landscape! Brystil talks a good game but hasn’t followed through on the scope of work I paid for in the agreed proposal. He says he’ll use the size plant on the proposal pictures and installs inferior plants in size and species. His communication has been poor to non existent. We have weeds growing up through the mulch less than 1 month after installation, even though we paid for pre-emergent. The landscape project that we were told would be done in a weekend dragged on for a month and is still not complete. I’ve contacted him about a dead plant less than a week after installation and here we are two weeks later with no replacement, no response and broken promises. I’ve given this young man ample time and opportunity to make things right. He rarely responds to texts or calls and when he does he provides promises he doesn’t follow through on. Beware, he kept my credit card information on file without permission, and charged my credit card before he completed the job, and without my authorization!

Good job
Would use them anytime

Done a great job and a very polite young man

We have been very pleased with the lawn work of Traditions Lawn Care. The owners are professional, prompt, and take pride in their work.

The do a great and swift job in storm cleanup, their land scraping is on point as well.

I had a great experience! A wonderful young man - professional, punctual, and respectful. Showed up on time, did exactly what was asked, and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. Their work was solid, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable and honest service!

Brystol and Bryson spent time talking with my wife to understand her vision for the landscape project.
