Appliance Repair reviews in Estill Springs, Tennessee

Very pleased with the service. Kenneth did a great job balancing the French doors on our refrigerator that the installer was unable to balance. Professional and thorough! We are new to the area and will use again if we have an appliance repair need.

Drew was my technician for dishwasher repair. He did an excellent job from start to finish. He arrived when he said he would, and got right to work. Thank you Drew for fixing the problem.

Dawson was great. He contacted me 30 minutes ahead of time to make sure I was home. When he arrived, he got right to it and was done in no time at all. He also cleaned up his work space which was very much appreciated. I would definitely use Doctor Appliance again.

Great service! Sir Dawson and the other technicians were very professional. Good at communication skills. When they accept the job order, they immediately get in touch with us by sending emails and constantly communicating until the day of the appointment. Courteous and arrived on time. They are also good at setting our expectations. They are knowledgeable, proficient and reliable in their jobs.

I want to start by saying I have never left a poor review for anyone, ever. This company was sent out by GE for a simple warranty repair. It took a month for a part to come in, we were patient as we still had one side to cook on. Their technician left my kitchen a complete mess with damage to my cabinets and countertop, and glass in my floor from breaking the cooktop. Wires showing between my counter and cooktop, and installed so that I can no longer open my drawer. The entire cooktop is now damaged. When the “manager” reached out to me, he said the earliest anyone could come out to assess the damage was a week from that date. He then let us know that they would not be replacing the cooktop, but ordering parts and this could take weeks to a month- leaving me without a cooktop all together. They informed me that they had fired the technician we so unfortunately were assigned, but I still can’t imagine how you could wait a week before coming to repair this terrible job, and then saying it could still take another month. I would hate for this to happen to someone else, so beware before trusting this company.

A repairman came out to check my dishwasher and Washing machine. He told me I had to pay $891.38 for parts that he would order and the labor to install them. He ordered the wrong ones. Another trip was necessary.
After several trips, the appliances were the same or worse, and a senior technician came out and said the appliances were not worth repairing. I requested an itemized statement several times but never got any receipt or itemized statement. I had to replace both appliances and my $891 was totally wasted. -
Awful company that can't figure out simple warranty repairs. They will lie to you and say the manufacturer won't let them work on something again just because they won't make enough money. They were here 6 times and couldn't figure it out. A much better company fixed the issue on their first visit. If you have a GE appliance and they set you up with these people, call anyone else.

LG referred me to Doctor Appliance. Doctor Appliance was quick to schedule to come out and updated me prior to arrival. Technician, Dawson, was friendly, professional, and worked quickly to resolve our issue. We will contact Doctor Appliance for any future issues with appliances.

Major item: takes to long to fix. I have been with out fridge since Dec 15, 2025. Took 2 wks to have heater put in, and it lasted 24 hrs, now needs fan. Gotta weight on it. 6 month old Frigidaire, that has gone bad . Adding on to post: 1.22.26, still waiting for the evap fan to be put in, Dr appliance said 1.28.26 quickest, part was cked in 1.16.26? Still no fridge.

Good service. Initial appointment 3 weeks out but got moved to less than a week from opening. Technician Drew was very neat and knowledgeable. Changed compressor in LG refrigerator. Still need evaporator fan on order. Used LG flat rate repair plan. Only drawback is that it took a few more weeks to schedule the repair after the evaporator fan was available.

Not sure, my refrigerator is still having problems, the freezer is leaking from ice & the front. 3 alarms & overheating alarm plus refrigerator food is now thawing. I can't reach anyone. Tech was here the 18th & said fan needed replacement. This is a NEW frig ordered from Home Depot & is terrible.

Doctor appliance came out to fix a lid on my washing machine.
First time they came out, they were sent without any information on the issue so they weren't prepared to do any work. They ordered the part and came back out. The lid was replaced. The technician did good on replacing it. However, the lid would not stay open. I reached back out and someone was scheduled to come back out. Someone came out to resolve that. Upon leaving, a load of laundry was done and an hour later the floor was covered with water. I called back and pressed the button to get a call back. Never received a call again. I called back a few hours later. Was transferred to the technician who said they didn't do anything with water lines. The drain hose was not fully pushed down in the wall and the machine was fine before anyone arrived. Called back the following morning and was told I would be put on the schedule for 8 days in the future. My spouse called and she was told 6 days. Seems there is an expectation to not be able to do laundry for a week. Will update the review if this is made right. -
A few months ago a technician came out and ending up bending the vent trim piece on our range when he had trouble removing it, and so the right side is just set on top because he couldn’t get it to fit back together. I called Doctor Appliance and received an email from Shawn saying the part was on order and he was awaiting to hear back from his technician to fill out a form, and he would let me know within 24 hours. Now it has been over a month and I have called multiple times and emailed Shawn multiple times with no response. Our oven does not sit flush against the wall anymore because the vent trim is bent and pushes it out on one side, so it sits crooked. I’m very frustrated and disappointed with Doctor Appliance’s customer service and would never recommend.
And in response to below, there is so much dishonesty written, I’m shocked. When I called Doctor Appliance after the technician left, I was asked to email pictures, which I did on 4/17/24. I received an emailed response from Shawn on 4/25/24 saying “Checking on the current status of the part and awaiting tech to file out a form i sent him. I should know within 24 hours what the next step is.” So to say I was never told this or never emailed pictures is untrue. A month had passed and I had emailed and called multiple times with no response until today, when you emailed me telling me I signed something 4/9 saying the technician is not liable for any damage he does while working on my appliance. I have never heard of such bad customer service.
And regarding the technician being worried and having me sign away liability, that was not true. The technician had me sign his phone after he thought he was finished working on my oven and I had paid him. I assumed I was signing a bill, because I had just handed him a check. He held the phone while I signed with my finger. I didn’t ask to have his phone and see what I was signing because at that point there had not been any damage to my oven, and I thought we were done. As soon as he walked out the door, I turned on the oven and the same problem persisted, so I ran outside to tell the technician while he was sitting in the driveway. He came back inside and decided to remove the trim vent piece on the top of the range and never explained any risk to me, or acted like this was a complicated procedure, or had me sign anything new before he proceeded. He started pulling at the vent to remove it and then also struggled to get it back on, and I kept telling him to just leave it because I could tell it was difficult for him to get on and it looked like he was bending the metal. He kept asking me “why”, and I told him it looked like it was difficult and we could fix it later, but he kept pulling at it and did eventually damage the metal piece.
As soon as I noticed the damage after he left, I had debated putting a stop payment on the check until this was repaired, but then decided to give your company the benefit of the doubt and trust your company would have integrity and replace this piece (which costs $56, so luckily it is not more expensive.) But, then to say that your technician is not responsible for any damage he did to my appliance is just poor customer service. That speaks volumes for the character of your company. -
Costco warranty referred me to another appliance repair with terrible reviews. I insisted they change providers and was fortunate enough to have an appt made with Doctor Appliance. They texted me as soon as they recd the request, scheduled an appt, scheduled reminder, updated time frame, technician called on his way. Very professional and cared for my home, took time to give me some appliance care tips. Highly recommend.

Today Richard came to our home to assess our broken dishwasher for Frigidaire. He was timely, polite, very friendly and fixed the appliance in no time. He cleaned up after himself and I have to say he was one of the nicest and most professional technicians I’ve ever met. Really appreciated him!

Communication with the office was fantastic. Follow ups were prompt and accurate. Once on site, Matt did a wonderful job of getting our range working properly again. Highly recommend.

Matthew was prompt, helpful, and easily explained the situation with our dishwasher repair. Very happy with his service (he found that the installers from Home Depot had improperly wired it causing the short).

Dawson and Jonathan came to put in a switch for my dryer. It was pouring rain and they jumped out and came in and got in in and gave us advice about turning the switch to tell our family members that use the dry to never turn it backwards it will mess it up. Well now we know how it got messed up so fast. They fixed my washer too. Really friendly. Highly recommend
