Lee Company did a fantastic plumbing renovation for our 70+ year old home in Bearden/Knoxville in Jan-Feb 2025. Our home was connected to a septic tank and needed a re-route to KUB sewer line. At the same time, water service needed to be updated.
William Gough helped us develop an affordable contract. Mark Lawrence was our project supervisor and also conducted some of the services. Mark’s work and supervision was top notch. We had a couple of issues with old fixtures and gravel caving in to our front yard in the rain but overall, it was a smooth experience. We are quite satisfied with the quality of work and cost of service. The change in taste of water out of the tap was noticeable right away.
Recommend Mark’s crew 10/10.

Great service call. Quick and easy

I had their tech named William come out to look at a water leak I thought was in my crawlspace. He found no leak it was in fact coming from hose to my back garden.
He was a great guy, very well mannered, articulate and knowledgeable. Thanks William
Lee Company were great I phoned early Monday morning and William was here early afternoon. Great service cannot fault you guys at all.

UPDATE: For those wondering, the company had put in their response to this review that they would be calling me as soon as possible. It has been two weeks, and it appears that this was a generic reply to a bad review as I have not heard anything from them. I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but inconsistency is starting to be a pattern.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Tech called the day of to cancel annual servicing of outdoor unit due to being unable to access thermostat inside(which they were informed of when appointment was made a week prior). Made various excuses to not come when I tried to solve the issue. As I value reliability in myself and others, I will not be using this company in the future.

Mike and his crew did a really great job. There's nothing like having your AC go out in the middle of summer, but they were able to get someone out that day, and the next day have a new system installed. I priced a few different companies and Lee was the most reasonable. The technicians were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. A fair warning: there is conflicting information regarding R410a coolant and parts for units that use it. Many companies are pushing for homeowners to replace systems claiming the coolant and parts are gone. Please do your research. R410a is still around and yes, parts are harder to come by, but they are still around and much cheaper than putting in an entire system.

I had a major problem with my water heater and they took care of us like family. I’ve had other service technicians in the past, but MARK was incredible and Tracy I believe in the office was a great help.

I recently signed on for the maintenance plan - and just had plumbing and electrical inspections. Mark (electrical) and Josiah (plumbing) explained everything and were thorough in their work. My house is 100 years old this year - I am so glad I have Lee Company to help with any issues. I have been very impressed with level of professionalism and quality of work.

I had a very disappointing experience with Lee Company. The plumber Rueben who came to my home was extremely unprofessional. He smelled strongly of marijuana when he arrived, which immediately made me uncomfortable and concerned about the quality of work that would be done. His demeanor reflected a lack of professionalism, and it did not inspire any confidence in the service being provided.

When hiring a company to work inside my home, I expect reliable, respectful, and professional service. Unfortunately, Lee Company failed to meet even the most basic standards during this visit. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services to anyone.

The tech. was very professional and did an extremely good job. He corrected the fact that when the unit was installed the installation team did not install the heat kit in the unit. The technician that did the inspection after the unit was installed identified the missing heat kit and was to order one and come back and install it. He never showed up to do the job. Mr. Luke Taylor made sure that the missing kit was purchased and installed it . He was very complete in his work.

Excellent! Professional, pleasant, caring especially when having to come at 11:00 PM! Mark was very efficient and fixed the problem much quicker than I anticipated and even gave recommendations for preventing the problem in the future. I was very surprised that the service was so fairly priced! I will definitely call them again!

I installed a mini split system in my basement area, as I am finishing out the space. Installed unit completely up to code. I let the dispatcher know EXACTLY what I was looking for. I just needed the system charged and double checked. She stated that's no problem at all. I also stated that we may like to be on a schedule for general maintenance for our main level unit.

First technician didn't want to come out, due to it raining. I stated the rain is scheduled to stop many hours before the appt. Had to reschedule.

Next day when tech showed up, he stated that they will not charge a system that they didn't install. He then had to "check" with the office to see if he still had to charge an appointment fee. He stated that there would be a $79 fee. So I then said, if that's the case, I need you to go upstairs and service the main house unit. His exact words were, "Well that's a maintenance call, and not a service call".

As a consumer, do you're own research, and dont call this company.

Mark came to inspect our plumbing in the house today. We have the annual plan with Lee Company where they inspect electrical, HVAC and plumbing for anything that might need repair. They also have products like whole house surge protectors and air purifiers for your furnace. Every technician we have had has been so knowledgeable. Zac with the HVAC team and Mark with the plumbing team were excellent. We highly recommend Lee Company.

Lee company is the best! If you need quick service they most times provide same day or next day service. Their home maintenance plan is affordable and complete. Their technicians are knowledgeable and courteous.

Always on time, call 30 minutes before they get there. Very friendly and work is done quickly and in a timely manner. No worries with Lee Co. I have other people that were cheaper but when it comes down to it. It’s worth the no hassle with Lee Co and if they repair it to your standards or it has to be repaired they come back with no hassle. It’s been and enjoying experience working with Lee Co for years now.

We had some major repairs and replacements done in the past several months, HVAC, ductwork, insulation, and some plumbing. Everyone from the Lee Co. was professional, skilled, friendly, and willing to answer any and all questions. We were told all options to
address the problems we had. We also opted for the Home Maintenance Plan which has already paid for itself in discounts. I highly recommend the Lee Company!

When I called for service, they were able to send out a project manager to provide an estimate the next morning. Once equipment was ordered, they were able to make the installation 3 days from the initial phone call. The price was fair and multiple product carriers were offered.

The installation was done properly, all questions were answered and the new unit is heating our home beautifully.

Lee Company came to fix a clogged drain at our house. They were punctual, professional, and took time to explain what caused the problem and the steps they took to fix it. Mark was our technician, and he was awesome. Extremely polite and professional. Thank you!!

Kelly was very friendly and accommodating when calling the office. Dwight, who provided the estimate, was engaging and prompt. The estimate was the best, so coupled with previous Yelp reviews, we went with Lee Co. for our project (running plumbing/installing a utility sink in our garage). Wesley, the young man who did the job, arrived timely, was kind yet focused and efficient. He did a good job in completing the work and then going back and checking all connections and ensuring all was in good working order. Highly recommend.

I recently had a mini-split HVAC system installed by Will and Kenny with Lee Company, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, their professionalism and courtesy were outstanding.

Will and Kenny arrived on time and were well-prepared for the job. They took the time to explain the installation process, answered all my questions, and ensured I understood how the system would work. Their expertise was evident as they worked efficiently and meticulously, paying close attention to every detail, including little things like ensuring there was a slope for the drain line to ensure proper drainage. The installation was completed without any issues, and they left the work area clean and tidy.

When I asked Will and Kenny about a better way of installing the hide-line to where animals couldn't find their way within the molding, like birds, etc.., they recommended a solution which worked. It’s rare to find technicians who are not only skilled but also genuinely kind and considerate and willing to go the extra mile to ensure any issues or concerns.

The quality of their work and their positive attitudes made this a five-star experience. I highly recommend Lee Company for anyone looking for HVAC installation or services. They truly go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

I came home to a growing puddle of water around my water heater, with an obvious leak running down the side of it. I texted my property manager and she called Lee Company. Mark was there within two hours of my initial contact with my property manager. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work fixing it. Thankfully the water heater itself wasn’t the problem, but a plastic valve which had cracked; so he had the parts needed to complete the repair right on his truck. From beginning to end it was quick and painless. Mark was professional and communicated with me as needed, but ultimately just did what was needed to get the job done. I would definitely recommend Lee Company to friends or family needing a plumbing repair!
