The best garden store around! It’s beautiful, huge, and every plant I’ve gotten from Hewitt has done so well. They also have an incredible selection of indoor plants and beautiful pots.

This is my favorite plant shop in all of TN! I recommend it to every plant lover I meet. It is truly my happy place. They have incredible selection at great prices!! Everyone who works there is kind and helpful. Keep it up!

I was followed around the entire time while shopping for a gift for my mother-n-law. Some extremely rude woman said I had earned to be followed around. I’m not sure if they thought I was stealing but I have given them HUNDREDS of my dollars. And was gonna buy another $300 plant today. But after this experience they won’t get another dollar from me! Making me feel like I was a criminal. And then asked to check my ID at checkout. Which has never happened! Worst experience I’ve had! 10/10 don’t recommend!!

I really enjoy visiting Hewitt GC! There is a very impressive selection of plants here, both indoor and outdoor. Their pottery collection is expansive and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. My first time at the garden center Michael gave me a brief tour and showed me some unique plants, helped me pick out pots for my orchids and answered all of my questions (I had a lot). It’s great to meet staff who love plants just as much as I do. Keep up the good work HGC.

I love going to Hewitt! The staff is knowledgeable about the plants and each time helps me pick plants that 1. I’ll enjoy looking at and 2. Ones I can keep alive. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The selection of plants are abundant. 10/10

I always enjoy a trip to Hewitts! I have so many beautiful indoor plants from there and several bushes as well. They also have a great selection of pots!

My first visit to Hewitt’s was great! It’s a gorgeous space, and as one who knows very little about plants, I had a lovely time marveling at everything there. The girl behind the counter was kind, and Jesse helped the friend I was with by providing the name of a beautiful pot she bought. A wonderful place!

Staff is friendly and helpful, easy to locate what you are looking for, and large variety to choose from. I had a great experience.

Hewitt’s is the best! They have a wide variety of plants to select from. The workers were so helpful when it came to picking out the appropriate soil to help my plants survive at home. This is the best place to get plants from and I will be back regularly!

Looking for house plants? Any plants really?! Hewitt's is definitely worth visiting. They have a solid selection of plants and of what's trending. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to care tips and which plants would thrive in the environment you have! Highly recommend, stop by and walkthrough all the amazing plants, you won't be disappointed!

I drive 40 minutes out to visit this lovely garden center! It is flourishing with gorgeous scenery and abundant plants with loads of different varieties! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, always love coming!! It is beginner friendly and for those with well-established green thumbs! The competitive prices are also very alluring! Go go go!!! 🪴 🌞

An amazingly well-rounded garden center! Their vast selection of plants has yet to be matched by any other garden center I have ever visited. Regardless of whether you are seeking annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, or houseplants, this is the place to find them! I have had particular success finding interesting and harder-to-find houseplants here!

Hewitt always has a great selection of trees and plants. Large trees are a big investment and what gives me the confidence to purchase is having a knowledgeable staff to help me choose what’s best for my yard. Janice was terrific & answered all my questions regarding the trees we were interested in and because of her help we have a plan to move forward and replace all the trees we lost this year during the wind storm. We had made several visits to Hewitt but having Janice’s help is what ultimately made us a fan! Very happy with the Forest Pansy Redbud she helped us choose today.

Hewitt’s has all the BEST plants—I always find one, or a few, to take home! I also love the variety of pot and pot stand options they have. It makes it so easy to match with all the decor throughout my home! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or new to the world of plants, Hewitt’s is the place to go!

I'd driven by Hewitt a number of times on my way back and forth to Nashville and finally stopped in last week. And, I'm so glad I did. The abundance of well-cared-for plants and trees was inspiring and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a particular problem I was trying to solve in my side yard and Micah spent about 15 minutes with me showing me different plants and advising on what would work and what wouldn't. His advice helped me make my yard look great and to choose plantings that were going to work with our dogs too. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be at work. The prices are a little more than you'd pay at a big box store but the level of service and quality of plants at Hewitt are definitely worth it. I will definitely be back.

Amazing selection of plants and pots and friendly advice too! Some of my favorites - the large selection of Coleus, Geraniums and Poinsettias at the holidays. So tempting to go there weekly to see what is new...they have it all, including gorgeous native plants and exotic indoor plants and cacti!

Hewitt is the best! Huge houseplant selection, helpful employees (I chatted with Violet most recently), and a great greenhouse cat! Definitely my favorite Nashville area greenhouse. The prices are reasonable especially for the quality of the plants you get. You’re basically guaranteed a healthy pest-and-disease-free specimen. I also visit them for their outdoor selection when it’s time to plant the garden :) I’m a year round regular!

Pulling up to Hewitt Garden and Design, I realized I was driving up to the most beautiful wonderland I’d ever seen before. You automatically get a “Wow! This is gorgeous!” upon your arrival. I’ve been to different companies and nurseries before but had no idea that I was about to be memorized beyond belief.

The Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful during my experience. I thought I knew so much about succulents and other plants...and I was totally wrong. All the plants were well taken care of, reasonably priced, and they had such a variety. You could tell that the people who work there truly love what they do.

*Also, the pottery is unique, elegant, and stands out to any other place I’ve been. They also have crystals (which I’m a huge fan of).

If I could give Hewitt and Design more stars, I would. I plan to go back next week! If you haven’t had a chance to go, please do. I’ve already told so many of my plant loving friends about it and had just went there yesterday for the first time.
