Andrews ac electric was sent to house by cac in January 2014 to rewire our house and to install smoke detectors, who by the way , IS NOT ACCEDRETITED BY THE BBB ! The only thing they ended up doing is changing our old fuse box , and replacing it with a breaker box , and left holes in our ceilings from where they placed smoke detectors. We could no longer use heaters in our bedrooms because this would cause the breakers to flip off . I reported this to the inspector, however, the only response I got was the inspector jumped on to them about the holes in the ceilings. Andrews response was to send their people back out to stuff the pieces of sheet rock back in the holes , tape them back with electrical tape and slap some sheet rock mud over the top of it. The power surges had become so bad , that we can't even watch t.v. KUB was called out to find the problem, I was told that the meter box should have replaced at the same time as the fuse box to support more power. I also called two other independent electric companies out to confirm the issues, and both agreed with KUB. However , David Andrews cussed me out and refuses to be held accountable for the work that his company performed . Be warned before using this company for any work !

We sent a claim and got a call the next day they would be available sooner then expected and replaced 3 breakers got everything good to go in no time. Definitely recommend their service was great!

Desmond is a master electrician, and he assessed all the electrical issues in my home and figured out how to get it all working safely again. My electrical panels and wiring were a nightmare, unsafe, and not up to code. Desmond and his crew literally untangled the messes and replaced the electrical panels in my home to bring everything up to code and safe. I will call Andrews Electric Services for any future electrical projects.

Andrews came to fix two prior electricians’ inept work. The first one, a favor, I can’t complain about too much. The second one, called to fix the first one’s foul-up on one 3-way light switch and to install new outlets and switches in a freshly repainted great room, entry way, and hallway, created an absolute disaster.
Tony and Demarcus arrived promptly, wore masks the whole time (Covid-a whole new problem), and were very professional. They fixed everyone else’s mistakes, which is much more difficult than merely replacing switches and outlets, and did it in mush less tIme than the folks I paid a lot of money to who only created problems.
I also would not have any concern in not being present when they work...these guys are professionals and you don’t need to have a second thought about their honesty.
Andrews Electric is saved in my contacts for my next project and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

If I could do zero stars I would, every dollar I spent with them was completely wasted as all their work would not pass final inspection from the city of Knoxville. The lastest thing I'm fixing from them is where they pretended to run a wire to my dishwasher but simply did not do it so my new cabinets had to be drilled through in order to rewire my dishwasher. When I asked for my money back they claimed that because their work passed an early on inspection it was good but the inspector who gave the early on clearly didn't check most of their work because their work was honestly trash if not dangerous to me and my family. Seriously find another electrician because despite them being reasonably priced you will end up paying much more when you try to pass a final inspection and have to have a real electrician diagnose all the things they did wrong and the shortcuts they took.

We had Andrew and Mike come out and install 2 dedicated circuits & outlets for a commercial freezer we purchased. They did an excellent job and were super friendly. This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve used Lloyd’s and they always do top notch work!

Stephen and Cody provided excellent service when repairing my attic exhaust fan. They were very professional and courteous. Stephen called ahead to let me know he was on his way. They arrived on time and got the work done quickly and safely. I watched the guys for part of the time and when I was there he explained how he was testing the components to isolate the problem, and explained each step of the process to me. He built a great rapport with me. I would definitely use Lloyds Electric again in the future.

We just had our Generac generator serviced by Lloyds Electric. We purchased this generator from them 9 years ago and this is the 8th service they have performed. From the first time Jay Lloyd came out and explained our options till yesterday when Eric performed our service and everyone in between we could not be happier with our decision to go with Lloyds.

Jamey and Bryce did a great job with electrical reorganization/relocation for our kitchen/laundry room renovation. Great guys to work with as they are very cordial fellows and professionally completed the work while answering our many questions.

Jamey and Andrew were awesome! We had an elderly customer who needed an electrician immediately. She had no power at all due to the main breaker going bad. They were there in less than an hour. Had a breaker that worked on the truck and had her power back on within an hour of calling Lloyds Electric Service! Highly recommended!!

Our Generac suffered a board failure with one of the electronic components. I explained the code information the Generac was giving me. As a result of the problem I had lost power to my AC during the hottest week of July 2025. It was hot. Within one hour a technician was at our house and thirty minutes later I had air conditioning. I was super impressed with their customer focus. Everyone involved was fantastic.

Michael Wallace did an awesome job wiring up my new Smart Home Panel from EcoFlow.

Ross was very professional and knowledgeable, yet he was still friendly and courteous. He texted once to let us know he might be a bit early and texted again asking if it would be okay if he arrived a bit earlier. Very pleased with him and the quality of work provided.

Lloyds electrical did a great job, Jamey and Andrew were great technicians. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They made the repairs needed in a timely manner and had everything operating within a few minutes. I highly recommend Lloyds and would like to have Jamey and Andrew to work for me again.

Patton and Cole were amazing! They came out to my home twice to make sure the entire job was done correctly and well. I feel great knowing this is taken care of and my home is safe. They were both kind and curious as well. Patton explained all the work done and left me with a map and explanation for my husband in case he has any questions later. Appreciate their hard work.

Andrew went above and beyond my expectations. I originally only requested an ev outlet install. I said I would call later to get a quote for a whole house surge protector. He took the initiative and called his office and someone brought over a surge protector and he installed it same day. Great service. Highly recommend.

Lloyd’s Electric has done several jobs for us including a whole home generator installation. Most recent we used them for an EV charger installation and Michael Wallace did the install. Michael did an amazing job - checking several times to make sure the installation would meet my expectations and desires. The end result was better than I even anticipated. Michael was meticulous, kept the work area clean, and provided regular updates on his progress. The completed work was neat and of high quality. My wife and I are extremely satisfied and would not hesitate to engage Lloyd's services again for any future electrical work in our home.
