Ridiculous company. Their techs run off without finishing their work. Caught 1 tech doing nothing and sent them an email. No response for two months. Then I caught a different tech running off and made him finish the job. Management laughed it off like 2 months is a reasonable time for a response. I even paid and still nothing. Grass looks like shoot and they simply don’t care about doing good work. Gave them months to fix and I have txt messages just going “ok “ from them. Worst company In the 901 to deal with. Rotten from top to tech. Lied about contacts knowing there is email trails of proof Stay far away . Will post pics of the yard shortly

Southern sprays our office and it really looks good. They also spray my home. Like some others, the crabgrass is an issue, but the yard is really looking better. They are working on the issue with the crabgrass. I will upgrade my review when the crabgrass is eliminated.

I called them for a week. No one answered the phone. Then One of the guys decides to just pop up out of no where. No text or call or voice mail. I didn't know what time he was coming. No one answers the phone. I will pay for the first spray. If they won't answer the phone, I'm canceling services .

I recently called in a complaint about crabgrass and weeds. Southern Spray has sprayed our lawn since around 1995. Some years looked better than others and this year poanna and crabgrass was taking over. The spray tech came and talked with me and said he would take care of it. 1 1/2 months later my lawn is looking better than it ever has. THANK YOU !!!!

‼️ WARNING!! ‼️ DONT USE THIS COMPANY! A man went flying down our residential street during the solar eclipse 60+ mph (even went airborne when he hit the speed bump). There were children outside and everyone viewing the solar eclipse when we witnessed this truck IN THE AIR! Reported. But tried to report to the company and this sorry company doesn’t even answer their phones!!! DONT USE!

I called them more than a week ago to get the free estimate they promise on their website for a pretty significant sized field that needs to be cut. I was told that someone would be back in touch with me to schedule it. After not hearing back from them for a week, I called back to check in. I was told again by the person who took the call that someone would call back for me. Still nothing. When you consider there were several days in the past week when rainy weather meant they weren't working, it's even more surprising. Businesses pay for leads sometimes. Mine was a free lead that could develop into business. But apparently I'm not important enough to merit a return call or the estimate they claim they will give you. If this is how I'm treated as a prospective customer, I wonder how they will treat me when they have me locked up?

Guys, I have not had service with you in 5 years yet in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic I have a collection agency saying saying I owe about $100. I have not been contacted about this issue. Why wait 5 years so I don't have information going back that far to even dispute it. Clearly I can't recommend other people use this company if these are the tactics being used to try and squeeze money from people long after; tactics that include hurting someone's credit that was paid up. If you feel the need to hurt my credit then this review can be my way of damaging your credit and reputation. It's clear to me that you do care about people as my phone number hasn't changed but I didn't receive any calls from you in 5 years about this issue.

Not Professional & Not Honest.., I had asked them to always share with me when they are coming and what application they will do for that day.. in December, while I was out of town, they made an unscheduled visit and applied 2 treatments (Winter & Fall treatment for my Lawn) both on the same day without my approval, because they had extra manpower, I came to know about 2 application when they sent me late payment notice. When I called to inquire at the office, I was told that they had extra manpower that day and they did 2 different applications to my yard. When I spoke to management he was rude, inconsiderate and stated he will ask his Manager to give me a call.. That Manager never called me back, but they kept sending me late notices, I agree with google review from "Latonia Williams" …They are not honest and not Professional.

Canceled service last year in summer of 2021 then sent a bill for service in fall of that year. Called to state had cancelled service and they said their mistake and would remove bill. Now October of 2022 a year later getting another bill for service. Need to review your files to see we do not use your service and do not own you money!!!

NOT HONEST.., Initially , I asked then to always share with me when they are coming and what application they will do for that day.. in December I spoke with the employee that was assigned to my home and the management office, I asked again what service was going to be rendered that day, they told me the single application I would receive that day. I called to make payment as usual and I had a total charge of 2 application. When called to inquire at the office, I was told that they had extra manpower that day and they did 2 different applications to my yard. I made them aware that they only told me about one application per visit and for that day..I paid for one application as agreed and the other balance remains. When spoke to management he was rude, inconsiderate and stated I will have to pay.. I was not told about no extra application, he stated he left an invoice at my door. I told him I did not ok any extra charge or service…they are not honest and not doing fair business. BEWARE ..

My father had used southern spray for years on 3 homes. 5 years ago he passed away and that left 1 home. Mine. They have been so helpful with
every little question or concern. The manager has even come to house to give advise
I pay once a year and they are more than fair. They even spray a foot or so in neighbor's yard, due to there only weeds there and they get in my yard. They r Awsome.

We have been using Southern Spray for almost two years now and we could not be any happier with a lawn-spray service provider. We have three large dogs in our yard and Southern Spray always contacts us ahead of time so that we can make sure the dogs are in before they arrive. Their service tech is not only always courteous but always locks the back gate after he finishes spraying. And, just as important, they have transformed our lawns from weed infested to (almost) weed free. Their price is also competitive. We highly recommend them.

Just a response to their lying comment. I have called, and they refuse to call me back. Don’t deal with this company.

Although they have treated my yard all season (and I have paid every time), I have quite a few weeds. They refuse to come out and do a retreatment like they say they will. They said it will cost them too much in fuel and chemical. They do not do what they say they will do. Do not use these crooks. They refuse to even call me back now. I talked to Frank last week, and he said he would call me back the next day but hasn’t bothered to contact me.

We have used southern spray for several years and have been happy with their service. However this year we have had a horrible outbreak of weeds worse than we've ever seen and I have called now four times and no one has come out to check or give us a treatment. I have also left a voicemail that was never returned. I feel like we have been customers for so long they are just taking us for granted.

What’s up with these bad reviews? I have no problem with them, I don’t even water my grass and my yard looks good! Not as good as my grass in Nebraska, but it’s good lol! No problems here!!

I paid for FULL YARD weeds spraying not Partial Yard. Weeds are everywhere. Calls and voice mails are ignored. No responses.

I used this company for 5 years and they did a decent job but the last treatment , we watched their guy on camera open our gate, take a look, and shut gate back without treating the back yard ! We tried to get someone to come back out and treat it but never happened because the manager argued with us and said he did treat because he could see the machine lines. Well he def didn’t take the machine back there because we could see him on camera. They also never treated behind my garbage can or pool equipment because those areas were always just full of weeds.

I would def not recommend this company for my lawn care at all!

I am utterly disgusted with the abysmal service I have received from Southern Spray. When I initially signed up over four years ago, my lawn was lush and green. Now, thanks to Southern Spray’s blatant negligence, it looks like a scorched wasteland.

Despite paying for both my front and back yards to be treated, my backyard has been outright ignored for over three years. Even when I receive the rare call to unlock my gate, the backyard and often the sides of my lawn remain untouched. It's almost as if Southern Spray is actively trying to ruin my property.

I've contacted Southern Spray multiple times, including in the last four weeks, but the only response I get is evasive non-answers and attempts to upsell me even more useless treatments. Mgr. Fain has been particularly unhelpful, dodging my calls and refusing to put anything in writing to avoid accountability.

I have estimates from reputable lawn services, and it's going to cost at least $4,000.00 to re-sod both my front and back yards. This is the same amount I've wasted on Southern Spray’s so-called "services." I demand immediate action to rectify this disaster. Southern Spray must either pay for the complete re-sodding of my lawn or refund the $4,000.00 I have thrown away on their incompetence.

I have been a customer for about 10 years. Used to have great service..and a great lawn but not any more. I have so many weeds...worse than ever before. Call & no one calls back. Leave message and no one responds. It seems to be a trend that companies can't find help or people that don't want to work & Southern Spray is the same way. If they don't care about a 10 year customer to even call back or show up to perform a paid service... go elsewhere.
I am now seeking another company.

Did not fertilize or treat 13 weeds in small front yard- left me a bill.

Crew onsite a total of 2 minutes 3 seconds.

First video 2:11:06 – 2:11:28 Worker 1 Comes up the east side of driveway and only goes halfway up grassy area at top. Sees camera, speaks to camera, and jogs off across the top of the front yard. He never set foot near the driveway and grass in the front yard again, or the camera would have recorded every time he turned around near the driveway.

Second video 2:12:24 – 2:12:37 Second worker comes up drive with bill. Worker 1 nowhere in sight, until you see him getting into passenger side of truck at 2:12:37. That is 91 seconds since he started up the driveway with the spreader in the first video (and included him stowing the spreader and walking to the front truck door). He did not fertilize the front yard in 1 minute 31 seconds, and they did not spot treat or spray numerous obvious weeds in the front yard, which your bill stated was done. I have included 13 photos of obvious weeds in the front yard.

Third video 2:13:02 – 2:13:09 Second worker walks down drive to truck. Again, no sight of worker 1 who is already in the truck.

Your two workers have lied to and cheated me. They have lied to and cheated you. I will not pay this bill. I will no longer require your “services”. Terminate immediately any further visits or billing.

We didn’t realize we owed you money but when we received the last statement we paid the bill….and then we get a notice from some collection agency…not a phone call… nothing. If you’d called you would have gotten a credit card immediately…I will be calling tomorrow to cancel my service… unless you can do it from this review.next time just pick up the phone… you won’t lose a customer. Now you have a bad review because your customer service is horrible. By the way… the check was dated on 6/30 and it’s cleared our bank.
