We have worked with Tedder since 2009 and they have been great. They always work with our schedule, do good work at a reasonable price, and spend the time needed to service our HVAC unit. I would recommend Tedder to my friends and family.

Tedder is great! I trust them completely to always be honest with me about my HVAC equipment. I have purchased 3 units from them and installation the maintenance is always timely and complete. I have recommended them to all my family and friends.

Very courteous and knowledgeable. Randall is so helpful and efficient! He explains EVERYTHING and has done his due diligence in pursuing warrantee coverage for us. Upon moving into our house in Murfreesboro, we had contracted with another service, but were very unimpressed. Upon a recommendation from a family member and our neighbor, we called Tedder Co. We were so pleased that we took the loss of our previous contract (they never called to schedule maintenance after it was prepaid) and have been very pleased.

This has been my go-to company for more than 20 years. However, I recently had my first poor experience with Tedder in all these years. After my favorite tech Randall left the company, I had my spring tune up with another GREAT guy, Brian Mc. He came out and gave fantastic service---exactly what I'm used to, and exactly why I've referred this company to all of my neighbors, friends, and coworkers. A+! Then, my fall tune up rolls around, and another technician comes out. Not a good experience. He rushed through the tune up and said he could not get my emergency heat to come on. "Oh, well." He says. After he takes my thermostat off of the wall and can't figure out why the emergency heat won't come on, he leaves. I pay the tune up charge and it was a night and day experience from ALL of the others I've had with this amazing company. I call Tedder while the tech is in my driveway to say what happened, but they're closed. I email and the owner calls me the next morning! He agrees to send Brian Mc. out to go over the disappointing tune up. That never happened.
Fast forward to this FREEZING weather we have. I am FREEZING in my home because I cannot get the emergency heat to come on, just like the technician said. This should have been addressed in my tune up. I did the fall tune up to be sure I was ready for winter. I wasn't. I called Tedder and they send out Brian P. who finds the issue after searching for about 20 minutes. He locates a switch that needs to be flipped and wow! Heat. Comfort. And another bill $$ for me. So, in essence, I paid for the tune up, and then the tune up to be done right. I am now contemplating finding a company who does the job right the first time...but this is the first time this company hasn't done the job right.

I’d recommend Tedder Company to everyone. They assessed our home’s heating, n cooling needs, installed the appropriate equipment, n we’ve been very happy with the temperature control in our home year round!!

Tedder Company replaced our 18 year old upstairs/downstairs HVAC units. Very satisfied with their work. Jeff, Alex, John and several others were great to work with. You will not
find nicer, more capable, professional group than these guys. I’ve tried all the big names in Middle Tenn over my 30 years in this area….Tedder is best I have found . 5 stars for sure

I'm not sure of the install crew but they did great, because Tedder got my mother's HVAC unit replaced for me while I was out of state (she's disabled and I take care of anything like this).. I think it was under 2 days after I gave them the 'go ahead' and it was replaced and running, and confirmed with family in town that it was working EXCELLENTLY.
They've also done several service calls on really short notice previously and been awesome; they told me truthfully on an over 15 year old unit several times if it was worth repairing, or probably be best to replace. Previous times they recommended relatively cheap repairs, but we had a major failure and they said they WOULD do the repair if I wanted, but it'd cost half as much as a new unit so wouldn't recommend, but would do whatever I wanted, no pushiness whatsoever.
I whole heatedly recommend this company, they've been amazing to deal with and I TRUST them, which has been a problem with some other local companies.
I HIGHLY recommend them, and a special recognition to Jeff who has been my main contact!! Love this company, everyone I've dealt with has been amazing, but Jeff definitely goes above and beyond what you'd expect.

Such a great experience. Reasonable price, quality work, and super personable. Side note they fixed a problem with airflow at the intake that the prior installers made to make the machine run properly. They care about the quality of their work and ensuring everything is done right. We would not go anywhere else for HVAC work.

When our AC went out Tedder provided us with a backup the same day while a new one was being installed. It was big enough to keep the house comfortable and very helpful seeing we have health condition in our family. We have used Tedder for several years and highly recommend them. Thank you again.

We contacted Tedder Company after being without air conditioning for 4 weeks because we were being given the run around by our home warranty and their contracted A/C company. Randall came out on a Monday after business hours, found the problem in minutes and had a written report with his recommendations. He treated us with honesty, integrity, genuine care and like we were family. They had the part in the next day and installed by Wednesday. They have earned our forever business and we will recommend them to everyone! We can't thank them enough!

It was Snowpocalypse 2024. Freezing cold temperatures most of the week, terrible road conditions, and an approximately 30 year old heat pump unit that was on its last legs. To top it all off, my husband was in the hospital for the 2nd time in a month (2 unrelated issues). Normally he would be johnny-on-the-spot to keep that old unit going a little longer... but not this time. After the 3rd day of freezing cold temps, I came home from the hospital to a weird humming noise. A wonderful friend from church came to help me figure out the issue. Long story short, the fan motor was locked up. I had no idea who to turn to. My church friend recommended the Tedder Company. I called them first thing the next morning. Salesman Jeff called me back quickly. I was worried about how I would deal with everything while I was at the hospital with my husband, but Jeff handled everything. He helped me get set up with TVA financing through my electric company. He even prayed for my husband. That meant the most to me. The weather prevented the install from happening until after the weekend, but Jeff brought us space heaters to keep the house warm until then. The install happened so quickly & our new unit is working like a champ. I am so glad we chose The Tedder Company. They took all the worry out of the whole process. They were a blessing to us during a terrible situation. If you are having HVAC issues, call The Tedder Company!

I love this company so much & truly admire the people from this company! We were having an issue with our AC, the gentleman that came fixed our issue so quickly and was priced very reasonably. Will continue to recommend this company to everyone I know!

Tedder just replaced my HVAC unit this week. Their responsiveness was wonderful. Communication was frequent and meaningful. Good product recommended and unit was installed within a matter of days. Very thankful that there are still a few good, locally owned businesses out there. Price quoted was much more competitive than two other larger HVAC companies in the middle TN market. Also, thankful for no ridiculous sales tactics from Tedder, just good advice and helpfulness.

Our upstairs unit in the attic had a blocked drain pipe that was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen after regular work hours. Someone came out within an hour and a half and had it taken care of.

Could not get the part immediately (not Tedders fault but the vendor) but came up with a replacement to keep us warm till it arrived. Service was fantastic. Came early the first visit and right on time the next which I love because I have enough of people being an hour or more late!!!

Another HVAC company not only installed a portion of our system incorrectly (backwards), it is undersized and their craftsmanship was barely up to code. After dealing with their owner for several days and no solution in site, I reached out to Tedder Company.

They had someone there within 24 hours and the issue was immediately fixed. It is nice to find a company you can trust to do things the RIGHT WAY, who stands behind there quality and service. I will not use anyone else moving moving forward.

Hit and run on my 6 month puppy on Christmas Eve 2024. Driver was speeding down the street going around 60-70 mph in a 35 mph zone. Their driver knew what happened and what he did and did not stop. Very unprofessional and very irresponsible. Found the company van a couple months later due to them not stopping and not knowing what company van did this. After find the van I called and told them what happened. They got in touch with the driver who was responsible and told me he does remember and knew what he did. Company and driver are not taking any responsibility due to being a “long time ago”. Manager gave me nothing besides a sorry ass apologie. The driver never came forward to me knowing he’s in the wrong. Very frustrating on my side since I had to take 2 weeks off work to care for my puppy and when a lot of animal hospitals were closed.

The Tedder Company installed a mini split in my home and everything from the sales process to the installation was an absolute breeze! Jeff was our sales representative and he took care of the entire process from day one and was very thorough in ensuring the proper size unit, that the lines for the system were aesthetically acceptable and that the job was completed in a timely manner. The Tedder Company also serviced my existing systems and were professional and courteous. I can't say enough about the entire Tedder Team that I worked with and would highly recommend them!

The company did all of the paperwork to get the tax and TVA credits processed for the excellent Mitsubishi split heat pumps. Total savings was about 30%.
