After purchasing x4 'White Feather Hosta' plants this spring, I have noticed that these 4 hostas have no white in them at all. I reached out to Mr. Lee @ SouthBranch and even provided a receipt for x2 of the Hostas I purchased (lost the other one), and requested what kind of plant I had. I sent Mr. Lee pictures and was informed that I had a different Hosta and that their supplier mislabeled, I'm assuming, all of the White Feather Hosta plants. After speaking with Mr. Lee I was asked to dig up all x4 Hosta plants that were 'mislabeled' and bring them back in for my refund. Meanwhile, Mr. Lee has no access to more White Feather Hosta plants. So I decided, why should I have to pull up x4 plants to have nothing to replace them with just to get back 40$. I have spent almost 2000$ here in the past 7 years and have never had any issues until now. I do not agree that a customer that was sold an incorrectly labeled plant is responsible @ all and should never have to dig up the plants to get his refund. I don't want their money back, I want the correct plants. If a company received incorrectly labeled product, then it is that companies responsibility to correct the issue 😡. If the issue isn't corrected, that is okay, mistakes happen, but you don't tell the customer it is his issue and that he needs perform manual labor to correct the issue. I should be either getting a voucher for all 4 plants or x4 White Feather Hosta plants without hesitation! Big F from me. I will be pursuing many other options to spread this story.

I went to this nursery specifically looking for the milkweed plant. I asked one of the workers there and he went to go look "in the back" I waited around, grabbed a couple other pollinators. The man came back with a very wilted plant and said "here it's the last one" I went to check out and it took them forever to even ring it up because it was an unmarked plant. Well, fast forward a month or two and I am repotting the plant. I was a little confused because this "milkweed" plant was not blooming, but I read online that new plants may not bloom for a year. During the process of replanting, I noticed a familiar smell while I was moving this plant. I am new to gardening! This was my first time ever caring for flowers/ plants. I asked my green thumb friend to come over and look at this milkweed. As soon as she saw it she laughed and said "this is clove basil.... A natural bug repellant" I specifically told the worker I needed milkweed and was making a garden to attract bees and butterflies and he gives me a wilted, unmarked plant and tells me it's milkweed? I will not come back here because obviously the workers either don't care or are not well informed.

I've called to try and set up an appointment on two different occasions for landscape design services. I'm always told "Clint" will call me back, but no one ever returns the call. I tried in the fall and just recently tried again since I thought they may have been very busy in the fall. However, I just decided they probably don't need the business nor do they have the time to return a call to their customer. I wouldn't want to use them if they are not dependable enough to return a call. I'd hate to hire them to install landscaping or other services and them not show up.

I went to South Branch to buy plants for a landscaping job. I have never in my life met some of the rudest people in my life. The employees that were working outside (young people) were great. The older gentleman and the one inside were the rudest people I have ever met. They will never get any of my business. I had mentioned this to other people and they had the same experience.

We purchased a Candy Apple Hydrangea on 6-27-2019 late afternoon and planted it the same day. The person who helped us was very nice and said that this plant could be in full sun. We noticed that some leaves were droopy. She said that the plants were thirsty and needed water. To water every time looked like that. On 6-29-2019 at 6am the plant appeared sun damaged. Every part of the plant was droopy. Took back and spoke to Supervisor Richard. He said that the plant was alive (I have photos looks dead) and that I didn't take care of it. That it needed water. I only had it for 1.5 days, REALLY. Then I told him I watered the Hydrangea 3 times. He then switched and said that I water the plant to much. I have photos of before and after of the plant. I showed him photos of my yard and that I did take care of my plants.

No matter what you tell the staff it is either you take to much care or you don't. I thought that this nursery was a proffessional business. They are horrible. I was going to buy 3 additional plants and went to Lowes. Don't waste your money at this place. The staff is very nice but have no idea anout gardening. Nice uniforms no talent. They will always blame you for a sick plant. Threw the plant away. They will not exchange the plant or refund the price of the plant

A great place to buy your flowers and plants. The service from William is above and beyond service you will find anywhere else, he really is very informative about all the plants and flowers. All the plants and flowers we have got from here is doing great. I highly recommend this place, its well worth it...

This place is beautiful. The trees and plants are so well maintained. Also you might think, "I will go to Lowe's or Walmart and get a better deal." NOT TRUE!!! Their prices are very close for a far superior product.

Originally found this place when i was looking for a particular tree that i couldn't find anywhere else. They had it. Have been back several times since, and have left happy each time. The recommended mix for garden soil last year resulted in 6 zucchini plants producing 80 pounds of harvest! Just picked up my loads of dirt for this year!

Richard has been helping me pick out plants for the last two years. I always go looking for him when I get there because he knows so much and cares! The selection of plants are very interesting and there’s a huge variety. The plants are super healthy! I keep coming back each year even though there are other options out there.

The guy at the register was extremely rude when we walked into the establishment. Tried to ask him questions about products he may or may not have and he seemed to have an attitude when responding and didn't really want to give directions on how to get around the nursery to the plants we were looking for. The other workers seemed af bit nicer but really annoying when they kept following us.

Did our landscaping with a plan put it in a little late, but said plants would be fine. Come spring all the plants died. they did not stand behind their work said they would replace with a 50% discount on plants. would not recommend.

Great selection of healthy plants. Every staff member was sure to ask if we needed any help.

They do not warranty their ridiculous over priced plants. Paid near $200 a piece for some spruce trees... 3 of which are doing great and 1 is basically dead in less than 2 months. They have been water thoroughly and cared for great.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Great plants unique and interesting finds, high quality and beautiful! The staff is so knowledgeable and nice! They worth every penny!

Got my wife a gift card from me and our blended family children, to purchase a tree for our new construction home. She picked out her tree. We picked it up, it was planted that day by our builders professional and well known landsacping company, along with 6 trees they supplied. Irrigation system running twicea day since then. The tree from here died almost immediately, while the other trees are all perfectly healthy. Just tried to call and see what warranty they have, or what solutions we could find, and not just be out $250. I was told somewhat aggressively that they do not have a warranty and that it’s printed on the receipt. I asked if there was any compromise here given the situation. The response was now clearly passive aggressive and was told that all they could is help find out why it died. Why doesn’t matter. Having the tree that meant so much to my wife matters. They tried to blame poor watering (even though it had irrigation) and poor install (even though it was professionally installed). When I asked how old the tree was, and how long wa sit out of the ground, they got even more rude and stated that I was basically bothering them at this point.

Lovely tree and annual selection but lacking customer service to support this into a better business. Employees stood well away from me as I walked around. Despite signage of discounts, apparently the plants grouped in front of the signs weren't on sale. Employee didn't even bother relocating the sign! Couldn't figure out who to talk to or where to put in an order for bulk delivery for a backyard project and went elsewhere.

Been trying to use this place for a couple years now as it is the closest nursery to my home but after several thousand dollars and multiple bad experiences/information, can't do it anymore. I would suggest one go elsewhere for their nursery needs.

Poor customer service at this place today. They advertised a sale on perennials that brought me in and even handed me a sale flyer today that indicated 20 percent off all perennials
When I went to check out a plant I pulled from the perennial section, they told me that it was not indeed a perennial, nor would honor the sale flyer I was given by their employee today. Don't waste your time with this business, go to one that will stand by their marketing.
Update:the nursery replied below that this plant was placed on the table by a customer, but that is also UNTRUE. There were quite a few of these plants grouped together on the table, so if what the owner says is true, they are now having customers do their stocking. I think this place needs better management!

    Update:
I tried to give these people business again, and realize how foolish that was! The nursery manager refused to help me amd hung up on me. One of the rudest people ever! Don't waste your time with these people. Go to Martin's or even Lowes. They will treat you great.

As I sit here in their parking lot. Worst experience I think I've ever had! I called last week for a delivery. They're dump truck was down. I called back the other day and they said it was up so I came by here and placed an order, paying cash. I called this morning to confirm my order. I asked to talk with the manager. I was told he was in a "meeting". The girl told me the dump truck was down. I don't think it was ever even fixed but yet they took my $200 order. And then told me I wasn't getting cash back even though that is how I paid. The girl was very rude on the phone. I decided just to take my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same.

I stumbled upon this nursery looking to start a new project and the staff was very helpful. Their prices are also very competitive for great quality plants.

In my subjective opinion, this nursery has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I bought a Japanese Maple Tree from this nursery a month ago. It completely died. I called and spoke with the manager, Kyle, and he explained that they cannot replace the tree. I was astonished that he said they cannot do anything at all even though the tree died without our fault. We also bought two from Home Depot and they didn’t die at all. The manager went on to tell me they aren’t Home Depot or Lowe’s so they can’t guarantee a replacement like Lowe’s and Home Depot can. I told him I understand that however is there anything else he can do for me such as a discount on another one or something simple as giving me $5 off the next one. He offered nothing at all. Literally not even a $2 discount which is inexplicable. This is egregious. I will never buy from this nursery again since they do not offer a guarantee on their trees. I will take my business to Home Depot or to the online nurseries that give a guarantee with everything purchased. I also noticed there are at least 3 other reviews on here with the exact same experience so there’s that.
