After visiting my newly-built home and examining our setup, E3 provided a well-explained and reasonable quote for a whole house water filtration and softening system plus a RO purifier. They communicated regularly and efficiently with me in advance and answered all of my questions. During installation, Nolan and Tyler, the two installers showed up on time and were extremely courteous. They kept me fully informed of everything they were doing and finished the installation on time. They also made sure that leak detection was set up properly and educated me on maintenance options. (As someone who is not interested in doing maintenance myself, I appreciate that E3 can monitor the systems and ensure that the system is always functioning properly). I'll add that the business' owner, Erik, is extremely knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice up front when we were considering a system. He answered every one of my questions objectively and didn't try to oversell me on anything. As someone who is now using the E3 products and someone who has witnessed how efficient their installation is, I highly recommend them.

Submitted a quote online never got a call back. Called them and was told they were to busy. Go somewhere else.

Very frustrating experience. They try to up sale with scare tactics and do not listen to customer input.

Thorough evaluation. Just disappointed that our purchase offer didn’t through so that this company could’ve done work on the property

They want almost 500 dollars just to get a quote on insulation of my attic. The only contractor that wants money before they even show me the final price. They can spout all their nonsense about checking this and that, but i just want a quote before i sign or pay anything.

If you are looking for a company that truly cares, look no further. Erik and team takes the time to listen to what concerns you have and what your priorities are for your house's HVAC and indoor air quality needs. They take the time to give different options and walk through the pros and cons for each plan. Erik and team are quick to come back after the work is done to make sure things are working properly and if any issues arise they are quick to address it. We highly recommend E3 for any and all HVAC, indoor air quality, and crawlspace needs!

E3 are trustworthy, ethical, passionate, smart, kind, honest people showing up every day to help our homes transition into healthier, more efficient environments. The investment we made with E3 was a big one. And the payoff was just as big. It’s been the gift that keeps giving. It feels like we are living in a new home. I didn’t realize how much our living experience, and in extension our physical and mental health, could be improved. We used to walk into our front door and smell the underbelly of the house - no matter how many open windows, candles we lit or air filters we purchased - it bother me to no end. Now it smells clean and inviting when we walk in the house. Our traditional HVAC’s were inefficient and loud and I didn’t even know they were until we replaced them with super quiet heat pumps. Now our home is quiet and peaceful feeling. Our radon levels were way higher than I knew and I didn’t know it until E3 provided us with home air quality monitors and built us a solution. Our home “envelope” was leaking in so many areas and the quality of the air we were breathing was compromised. We had mold issues in our basement and our HVAC air was flowing through pathways that were not clean or sealed properly. Generally we tend to do maintenance and improvements to our homes in piecemeal ways and are sometimes scared to look under the hood - but from the get go with E3 it became obvious that home health, comfort, and energy savings are holistic and creative. Thus the big investment we chose to make. I wouldn’t want to go on that journey with anyone other than Erik and his team at E3. And I wouldn’t want to go back to what our house was like before E3’s improvements.

They had the gall to quote me almost $100k or almost $150k depending on the package I wanted to go with even though they admitted to not knowing the cause of the problem I wanted to solve. Turns out replacing some failed equipment under warranty and removing my attic fans fixed 90% of my problem. Cost me $900. The other 10% is something else they didn’t catch. Be careful.

Just another typical high pressure sales business model. It was like having a vacuum cleaner salesman try to embarrass a home owner into needing "their" vacuum to clean your house.
The salesman was not interested in what I wanted done as much as he wanted to up sell me on all the other things that could be wrong with my house and that I could not possibly expect for the task at hand to accomplish much or rather my "expectations" of said job and that he could not just give me a cost quote on a straightforward spray foam job without first visiting all other possible causes of my energy loss issues in my home.
My advice is to Run and don't look back!

As other commenters have mentioned, you should be extremely careful if you ever choose to hire E3. We had them come out about a month ago and do a diagnostic for a small set of questions we had about airflow and crawlspace odors.

They charged us $2500, which we were told was necessary to diagnose the issues and provide solutions. They were on site less than four hours and did a handful of airflow tests and took some photos. Kind of like a home inspection, but shorter. And more expensive, but I was told that they would provide us some really great next steps in order to improve the air quality in the home. I was getting concerned when they left after just 3 1/2 hours on site.

But then I got the report.

When they delivered their report a few weeks later the very first paragraph says that they don’t guarantee they can resolve any of the issues, especially not if we go with the cheaper options they provide.

What was the cheap option? $42,116.

What is in that cheap option? A questionable array of fixes and new equipment that they refuse to line item or discuss in detail other than that’s what’s included in the “package”. When we asked about talking about components of the proposal, they got very adamant that’s not how they do business- they don’t get into those details. They just want to shove this package in your face and talk about financing options.

Just for clarity we built this home six years ago and that is about what we spent on the entire three unit HVAC system, duct work and everything, to install brand new.

But it gets better. The more expensive packages?

    $177,480. That’s right. Almost $200,000.

For what? A laundry list of non specific items like “LED lights”—- which had nothing to do with anything we ever talked about.

I’ve been scammed before, but never like this. This was insulting.

Including a picture of their proposal, just so you see what kind of insanity this service really is. You are paying someone for the pleasure of taking your money and then being sold other incredibly overpriced services.

    Run away.

We used E3 Innovate in 2018. They put in 1 ductless Mitsubishi system and 1 ducted Mitsubishi system. The ducted one has worked well, but is definitely undersized because it cannot keep up when its the colder or warmer parts of the season We initially were going to do their whole proposed plan with insulation, but there were so many mistakes on the HVAC, we couldn't risk continuing to use them. I wanted to like them because I want our home to be healthy and efficient, but I cannot recommend them to anyone. Today was the final thing that made me write this review. Our breaker box had an issue and needs to be replaced. The electrician found that E3 had not grounded the ducted Mitsubishi unit (and basically faked it by tying it into the old system!) They also did not use the correct breaker for the box and obviously had carved into the plastic, so it could get shoved into one of the spots. I can't believe they did that. They seemed so professional and nice, but I'm glad we are getting their work replaced. We have had nothing but headaches from the two ceiling Mitsubishi units. My husband has to clear out the drainage pipes twice in the summer (which we had to get them to come out and fix because they had put in the incorrect sized pipe). Luckily we went through the installation manual early on and figured this out, but it still doesn't drain correctly and never has. I am willing to pay a fair price for quality work, but these systems were not done properly and have to be serviced by us continually.

I would not be able to recommend IES. They are reckless in more ways than one.

These guys were awesome! I had my HVAC system go out and they had me with a new working unit installed the next day at a fantastic price! Brian was knowledgeable and did a great job!

Nasty "Service Desk" person... Just waited all day for someone to come install a shower door and of course.. didn't show. I requested a refund. The nice lady on the phone didn't even say "thank you" or "I'm sorry." When I asked her if she was even going to say "thank you" or "I'm sorry" she copped an attitude with me. A true customer service specialist. Bravo.

Had a cashier who was unable to process my tax exempt purchase. When I asked politely who could help with this, she called my child around to look at her screen and affirm that what I was asking was impossible. Then she yelled at me to leave her station. I had to go find help elsewhere, which I did. A very nice manager, Nina, helped me process the tax exempt purchase without any problems
