Over the past 6 months Randy, Dave, and Hunter have all responded to problems with my HVAC system. They've all been courteous and professional. And, they've done a great job diagnosing and fixing the problems. Terrific bunch to work with!

Adkins Heating and Air has been a pleasure to work with. The owners are very responsive and offer prompt scheduling possibilities. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and professional and they have helped me diagnose and fix multiple issues with my HVAC systems. Wayne and John have been particularly helpful and have always explained the issues clearly and proposed and executed cost effective repairs/solutions.

I have a 10 year old Mitsubishi mini split high wall ductless unit in a sunroom that has given trouble for 3 years. I had several Roane County HVAC companies attempt to correct its performance issues but none that truly understood what was required. I looked up the Mitsubishi diamond dealers and found Adkins in Oliver Springs. I called and John came in a day or so to evaluate and troubleshoot the issue. He used a leak detector in all the typical locations and only found one suspicious Schrader valve core. He gave me an estimate and scheduled a return date within 1 business day. John cleaned the indoor coil, recovered the refrigerant, changed the valve core, pressure tested the system looking again for leaks in suspicious locations, evacuated the system to 300 microns vacuum also indicating no leaks, then weighed in the nameplate amount of refrigerant. The unit has been maintaining the set point temp for a week. It hasn't performed this well in years. I feel I have found HVAC professionals I can trust. Thank you!
Update:
It has been a year since Adkins visit. We have had temps in the single digits and extended periods where the temps never were above freezing. Also conversely periods with high temps in the 90's and sometimes approaching the 100 degree mark. The unit has maintained set point temp for the entire period. I was considering unit replacement based on the performance of the equipment after the other companies. Im glad I found and tried Adkins!

My gas pack unit quit working a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Called around looking for help. Randy was very responsive to my inquiry and was able to install a new unit within a few days. His team of technicians did a neat, quick and professional job using a top rated replacement unit. I highly reccomend Adkins Heating.

The absolute best HVAC company I’ve ever dealt with. Adkins Heating and Air was recommended to me by a coworker when we started having trouble with our old heat pump. Wayne sat down with us and gave us several options. We ended up purchasing an American Standard unit from them and we couldn’t be happier. Our electric bill has gone down significantly. All of the people we’ve dealt with, thanks Wayne and David, have been friendly and courteous professionals. We highly recommend!

Came out on a second visit to program the thermostat, and instruct me on the system. Awesome outfit, good price, and friendly service! Could not ask for better service, period!

We have had trouble with our HVAC unit every year in the past several years. Every summer, there was something that had to be done before the air conditioning would work. This winter the heat wasn't working and even after it was serviced (by our previous company--naming names would be in bad taste), it was never quite right. This past year, we used Adkins and it has never worked better! Cool in the summer and warm in the winter, as it should be. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone for all their HVAC needs!

Our furnace went out the night before Christmas Eve. I spent all day calling and leaving messages trying to find help! The temp in our house was 42. I found John Adkins phone number on Facebook. I called and someone actually answered, then 2:1/2 hours later our system was fixed and the price was more than reasonable. Adkins Heating and Air is by far the BEST heating and air company I’ve ever dealt with. I contacted them with a heating issue with my current system and they acted very quickly to resolve my problem. Adkins Heating and Air Conditioning installed a whole house 26 kw Generac generator. They were by far the best price. They gave exceptional quality work. They do what they say they are going to do and are very punctual. They kept me informed during the process and educated me on the performance of the generator. They also hooked up the propane gas to the fireplace in the house. This is a very personable group of owners and employees and I would highly recommend them.

We were looking to replace our furnace and ac unit, and Adkins Heating and Air was recommended. We did not have to look any further. Randy personally came out to do an estimate, and was very helpful in getting me set up for the install. Cost was very reasonable and was also offered financing options if needed.

A week later his crew came and installed everything efficiently and professionally. Our dog and cats secured in the other room barely heard anything.

We are working with Adkins Heating and Air Conditioning on our new home. David is very cost conscious, is very detailed in his explanation of the HVAC equipment, but in layman's terms. He let us know if the efficiency of an item has a good return on investment or not. We would definitely recommend him for new, replacement or repair of your existing HVAC.

Outstanding service, as always, from Adkins. Today, they replace my heat and air unit with a quality American Standard unit for a very fair price. The installation was quick and looks great.
