American Air replaced both of our units during the hottest part of the summer. Although there were a number of installations in front of us, they provided mobile air conditioning units free of charge while we waiting. They worked with us and was able to improve the installation dates. The work was on time, efficient, with friendly helpful installers who answered every question and completely cleaned up when the were done. We have used American Air of Ooltewah before and we will use them again. I highly recommend them

Update 11.13.24: I got a new unit installed (not the one that Tyler worked on). Matt and David were great with getting the new unit installed, re-organizing the wiring more neatly and cleaning up after themselves. They were both very professional and personable and I enjoyed meeting them.

Wow! You sent the "A" team to install our mini split system. We all knew this was going to be a tough job, as the install was through the floor in dedicated closet space, rather than an outside wall installation. We didn't want to compromise the look of our 125 year old farmhouse and Daniel, Mason and AJ were certainly up to the task. Professional, knowledgeable, polite and meticulous are only a few words that come to mind. We appreciate your fine work and would highly recommend them and your company for all your HVAC needs. We found a great AC company. American Air HVAC delivers professional, competent, and courteous service and expertise for all our air conditioning and heating needs. They come through when you need them NOW, and they service your equipment on a scheduled basis to minimize those emergencies. Their Friendly, Competent, and Reasonably priced service shows they value our business. Special recognition to one of their techs, Chase for his outstanding service. We have recommended American AC to our family and friends.

I purchased a 95 Double Wide that I was completely remodeling. I knew that I wanted a complete installation including, New Package Unit, New Duct, Return and Thermostat. I wanted a quality unit, great value, warranty and professional installation. Upon reaching out to American Air for a free estimate I was put in contact with Lamar. He is spectacular to work with. He was very responsive, persistent, professional and understanding. We scheduled the install and the installers were respectful, professional, entertaining and informative. I strongly recommend working with American Air! It's been almost a year and I am so glad that I went with this company and their value! I can't speak highly enough about Lamar and his ability to remain in touch, not be pushy but very responsive. This is NOT a paid review. Stop looking around and shopping prices! American Air will take care of you! Due to the outstanding experience, I will be doing the maintenance plan with them as well!!

Tyler came out to check on my HVAC because I kept hearing vibrations that I thought were from the air handler. He was great, found the problem, and everything was resolved quickly. My service call with American Air was a great experience. Our service technician was knowledgeable and thorough and got the air back up and running in no time during a very hot (and for them, busy) week. In addition to the tech, the office staff was friendly and helpful — they got us worked into the schedule within days and kept me updated on the service day when the tech got unavoidably delayed with the previous customer. Can’t say enough good things about them!

A technician was at my house within one hour of calling them on a Sunday. Super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the level of service received and the fairness of the price.

Our furnace died during the big freeze this month. Called up American Air and they had Tyler out here that same day. The time between Tyler pulling up and leaving my home was less than an hour. In that time, he diagnosed the issue, replaced the part, and had the house warming up again.
While working, Tyler has more than happy to show and explain what went wrong and how he was going to fix it. Very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Give Tyler a raise!

From the beginning to the end excellent comunication ( James Thompson was sure to answer all our questions). Price and estimate matched, no extra money needed. Installation was quick and they did final walk through after instalation to be sure that all is working right. After instalation they submit rebate for us with utility company. I wish all companies work sufficient and honest like American Air.

Had an issue with an air duct. The owner BJ came to our house and got very smart and hateful with my wife in our house and kept talking over her. The system they put in is great but the owner. Supposedly he crawled the crawl space but we had a contractor working on the house and he said he did not crawl the house. He said we has water puddled and muddy in one area of the crawl space. Went other and checked this out and found out he lied .

We called American Air HVAC in Ooltewah after waiting 2 weeks and being charged more than quoted for an initial visit by another company to diagnose an A.C. that was blowing but the air was lukewarm (see my reviews to find which one). That company misdiagnosed, incorrectly claimed the faulty part was not under warranty, and tried to sell us a dual unit when our heater was just fine.

We called American Air and were provided with an accurate quote that included the visit, initial labor and potential freon use, with an appointment scheduled for the very next day. This company correctly diagnosed our issue, worked with a partner company to get the failed equipment replaced under warranty, and stuck to their quote for labor.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough! This interaction occurred last summer (I can't believe I didn't leave a review earlier) and a year later our unit is still working beautifully!

This company is the best of the best!!! They had came out and looked at mine and my fiancé’s unit and when they discovered what the problem was not only did they make sure that the problem was fixed immediately, but Chuck also went above and beyond and offered to write a $200 check out of their pocket to put towards our light bill since the bill had increased some due to the problem with the unit. We have personally never had a company offer to do anything like that before or go to the lengths that they went to all because they genuinely cared. Chuck had the check ready for my fiancé Marcus Smith to pick up the very next day. They were on top of it. Chuck was very kind and professional when i spoke to him and you could tell that he genuinely cared about our situation and took pride in the work that he and his team provide. The technician that came out and fixed the unit was also great and went above and beyond! They care about the kind of work that they provide and are truly honest people. After our experience with them, we will continue to only use this company in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Chuck and his team!! They’re the best for a reason!
