Wasted hundreds of dollars on other companies to have my fireplace serviced. Still wasn’t working properly. American Air came and found the issue. It sure does help when a company has trained their employees!!! They know what they’re doing. I didn’t have to wait months to get someone out. Quality and fast service!!

AJ ans Daniel showed up on time. They went right to work. They took pride in their work. They wanted the generator to look good and everything around it to look good. They were very polite. They asked if I had any questions. They cleaned up the work area very well. Chuck came up to see how they were doing. Chuck was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. This is the first time I have used this company and they have really impressed me. I would highly recommend them. They take pride in their work.

We had both a repair call and a new equipment installation. REPAIR CALL: Repair technician called when he was on the way to us and arrived on time - at 8:00 AM on the coldest morning of the year: 09 degrees outside. Went straight to work ;and found a tripped breaker inside the unit right away. Unfortunately, as he continued to check out the unit, he found other issues with the package heat pump that had caused the breaker to trip. This unit was just over 20 years old so we agreed that it was time to replace it. The technician was able to get the emergency heat to work for us, so we were able to start getting the house warmed back up. The sales manager was out later that same day and we agreed on pricing and he scheduled our installation for 6 days later. He insisted the we allow him to bring over 2 space heaters just in case the unit went out again. We were impressed with both gentlemen. Dave, the repair technician was polite and gracious, was obviously very knowledgeable and thorough. He worked diligently on the unit for 2 hours in the 9 degree morning weather. Likewise, Lamar, the sales manager was also polite and gracious, worked with us on some access issues for the second floor unit which we decided to replace at the same time since it was the same age. He gave us what we felt like was a good price and also credited the cost of the repair bill from that morning. All in all, good people, good work and good price. NEW INSTALLATIONS: The installation crew for the new units were likewise a pleasure to work with in every way. They know their business, went right to work and got it done. We were impressed that an installation manager came out each of the two days (one for each unit), checked their work, helped them finish us, and test the installation thoroughly. Again, we couldn't be more impressed with both the crew and the work they did. We did have one issue (not having to do with operation) with the indoor part of the second floor split system. Lamar came out, worked with us through a solution and had it installed first thing the following week. We would highly recommend American Air HVAC for either diagnostics and repair of a problem or with installation of a new system.

Had a difficult time finding a hvac company that knew how to replace vent floor and wall vent ducting in an old house (1930s). This company was able to figure it out and do the custom work needed to have it be completed correctly. Professional and friendly throughout! Could not be more pleased with the work done and the great crew! Will definitely recommend and use for any future needs.

American Air is a locally owned company which does not mean it is Bobba and his little brother. They are a professionally operated business with skilled employees, good equipment and competitive prices.
Our 30-year-old heat pump was on its last legs, and I Solicited estimates from two HVAC installers. One from a regional company with a service area from Nashville to Chattanooga and one from a local company, American Air. The American Air proposal was much less costly for equivalent equipment.
The American Air installation team of Daniel, AJ, and Miquel were efficient, courteous, and took pains to protect my house during their work.
The new unit is working fine and is covered by American Air’s warranty. If you have HVAC needs I suggest giving American Air a chance to make a proposal.

American Air installed a mini-split in my new sunroom and replaced a water heater with a tankless system. The team was terrific! They were prompt, neat, and did an excellent job in exactly the time specified. The crew went over the system so I understood it and thoroughly tested the system before leaving. I couldn't be happier from start to finish ... very professional team including Becky, Lamar, Jack, and Dave. I appreciated the quick turn around and their meticulous work. Thank you!!
