They have been over to fix my AC probably 4 or 5 times. Each time after they left something else went wrong shortly after. I should have learned my lesson after the first time they came out and called someone else. The last time they came out they said my AC was shot and I needed to replace it for around $3,500. I was fed up and called someone else. They found that the real problem was it was low on freon (or whatever they use now) and the remote to the fan was busted not allowing it to turn on. Cost me $125 and my AC is working better than it ever has since living here. Way better than replacing it for $3,500. Denny mechanical clearly doesn’t know what they are doing or are trying to scam people for more money. I’m not sure which one it is or if it’s both. They send young guys out in the field who don’t know enough and need more training and shadowing. They are also very expensive compared to other repair shops even if they did actually fix it right. Don’t waste your money here.

I see other good reviews on here for them. Sounds nice. Wish I got that kind of service.

Denny Mechanical is an incredible company who you can trust to do good work, respectful of you and your property, and won’t try to sell you what you don’t need. We had 2 a/c units go out when it was 100 degrees. They came out same day and was able to repair 1 unit that day and came back the next day with parts for the 2nd unit. Waylon, our technician, worked hard, was respectful, made the repairs as economical as possible, and was concerned about us being without air. We have used this company for about 10 years and we would not use anyone else.

My AC was not working properly. I contacted 3 companies and they all advised that I needed to have a new compressor installed. The other 2 companies could not give me an exact install date, but told me it would be about a week or so. Denney was able to get to my house and install a new compressor the very next morning. I chose Denney because of the quick response time, even though their quote was a bit higher than the other quotes. However, when the work was performed, the actual charges came in less than the amount quoted and less than the other 2 companies, which shows true integrity. The people are friendly and honest and I will never have a reason to shop around for HVAC services ever again. I highly recommend Denney Mechanical.

Waylon did a great job! Polite, professional, and took extra steps to make it a cost effective repair. Another “happy” company wanted to charge us considerably more without even understanding the problem, seeing if it was covered by warranty, or being able to answer any questions, so we called Denney instead - so glad we did!

Came out same day I called. Unfortunately they didn’t have the part needed to fix my A/C, but it came in the next day and they had me up and running. Christian was great very friendly and professional. My wife is now happy which means I’m happy.

You will either get a tech that knows the units inside and out and can fix your problem easily, get someone who knows absolutely nothing and can't fix your problem even after making multiple calls to people who do know what they're doing, or get a no call no show.

They also have no issues spouting lies.
They will claim they have tried to reach you when they have made absolutely no attempt to do so.
They will lie and say the unit is electrocuting them and when you have an electrician look at the unit they will determine there is no charge coming from the unit unexpectedly and no reason a tech to be making such claims.

Do not use this business, they are not reliable or trustworthy.

Used them to do a very minor repair, as I was selling my home and needed my gas line addressed quickly. Denney Mechanical was understanding of my need for urgency and responded sooner than even I expected. The Technician was professional and knowledgeable, got the job done and saved the day. I would recommend them for any of your HVAC needs. Thank you again.

I called Denney Mechanical for service when the heat would not come on in my gas HVAC unit. Francisco came to look at it and immediately could tell what the issue was. A part needed to be ordered so he came back the next day and installed it and I have heat now. He is a nice young man and very polite. I will always recommend Denney Mechanical to anyone searching for a reputable company.

David was prompt, professional, and got our system up and running faster and cheaper than the competitors! 10/10! Will definitely keep his number saved for next time!

Higher Standard installed our new AC unit in April '22, since our old one broke. They did exceptional work installing the new unit and making sure everything was done correctly. The few days before Christmas, right when the cold front was coming, we had an issue with power not going to our thermostat, so we had no heat. Their tech, Gerald, came out and was able to fix the problem and we had heat again, which we were grateful for because it got down to negative 20 with the wind chill. Higher Standard is a small business and their customer service and work is great! Highly recommend Higher Standard if you are looking for an AC company in the Clarksville area.

I had some issues with another AC company and they told me my air conditioning was unfixable. Higher Standard dropped everything and came right over on one of the hottest days of the year and got things fixed in less than an hour. Very genuine and honest people could not recommend them enough.

I couldn't recommend this company enough. Mr. David Green answered the phone, even when he didn't have to and was incredibly polite and helpful. Like many have said, the very next day he was at my house and had us back in heat within 20 minutes. Mr. Green is incredibly experienced & knowledgeable and took the time to explain details to me that were even outside the scope of his repair. Not to mention, his prices are beyond fair for the services received. Mr. Green is a great representation of the type of man this world needs more of and it shows through his work. He will be my 1st call everytime I need HVAC help in the future.

I had such a good experience with this company. I called late in the evening expecting to schedule a visit for the next day but they offered to come that evening and fixed the A/C in under an hour. I will definitely use them again in the future.
