Wow! We recently received a quote from what we thought was a reputable local vendor who insisted we needed a full AC and furnace replacement for our upstairs because it needed a new evaporator coil, and replacement coils for our unit were no longer available. Though we totally trusted their diagnosis, the quote was painfully high, and we decided to get a second replacement quote from Hylton (because the smart wife wisely insisted). You can imagine our shock when Billy discovered that not only was a replacement coil readily available, in actual truth, the existing coil (the one that we had been told was beyond help) was actually working perfectly fine! Billy was a HERO! Needless to say, Hylton is our wonderful new HVAC service provider.

Total savings due to having married a smart woman, and choosing Hylton:: TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!

Our lake house was not cooling. We called after hours and a technician arrived within an hour or so and after a couple hours of checking and repair, we were up and running. The charge was very reasonable. I've used Hylton in the past and will continue to do so.

After a long day I got home and my husband said the HVAC wasn’t working. It was late eon the evening so I didn’t think I’d get help that same night. I googled and Hylton came up. Hylton picked up on the first ring—didn’t have to leave a voicemail to just play phone tag the following day.
They were at my house within 30minutes given I didn’t live terribly far from them. They replaced our capacitor within 30minutes also. No ordering/waiting for parts! By far one of the most professional, accurate, and fast companies I have ever worked with! Very impressed, and very thankful for Hylton!!!!

Called on the day my unit failed and like clockwork they arrived at 9am the next morning as promised, they offered to come out the evening of the failure.
I appreciate people that back their words with their deeds. I too am a small business owner and when my heat pump has issues it can be uncomfortable for our customers. I usually panic because I don’t like unhappy customers.
Hylton showed on time, was able to diagnose not only the current issue but also an issue that has plagued our heat pump for over a year. 2 different techs had looked into that issue and both had been wrong as to the cause. Hylton nailed the cause within minutes. His knowledge alone saved my small company around $1500 in repairs. When Hylton presented the final bill I was greatly relieved to see the total. I happily paid it. As long as this company is in business, they will have our business at Smoky Mountain Escape Games.

Joe was pleasant. He did the repair in a timely fashion. Noticed something wasn't sounding right after he left. He pleasantly came back and corrected the issue. Now, Works great! Also want to thank Billy and his wife for being so accommodating and Cindy for all the hard work with the warranty. Thank you all for going over and beyond, its nice to know how it feels as a customer.

This is a great service oriented company.
We needed fast service for a displaced family. It was a very hot two weeks and the house had no air conditioning. We replaced the entire system ductwork air and heat.
They were terrific. The schedulers were diligent The owners very involved. We got very accurate notices of when to expect them. The technicians were fantastic.

This company is great. Everything from their office staff to the techs that come out. They are thorough and do not try to upsell you. Their prices are great. Kevin was our tech last time and he came out because we are on their maintenance plan. He was very friendly and gave me a very detailed debrief on the status of our older unit. Told us what we needed to do and what could wait. Very reasonable pricing. Better than any other quote I was given by the last company I worked with. I have a quote for a replacement unit after this one finally dies and it was the best quote I got out of 3. I will not use anyone else going forward. This place was recommended to me by someone in the roofing/construction business as the best no nonsense and honest heating and cooling company in the Knoxville area. I couldn’t agree more.

Was using Hylton for hvac system maintenance on my 19 year old unit when they discovered a problem. The decision to replace the aging unit was made. Hylton ordered the new system and was ready to install it the following day (talk about fast service,Wow). As always their technicians were courteous, professional, answered all my questions, and installed the heating and air system in less than a day. They also cleaned their work areas so good you couldn’t tell they had been here except for seeing a new unit. Also, the office staff knew how to deliver exceptional customer service by keeping us informed of every step of their progress and answering all questions in a professional and courteous manner.
