Can find some of the more popular rare plants here. Not many shop the garden center so I usually get lucky.

Keeping with Wal-Mart's latest inventory levels, the Garden Center has evidently decided that no inventory is easier to manage. Being in the height of people wanting to garden or work in their yards, you would think that someone as large as Wal-Mart would understand that in order to sell the products that their customers are looking for in order to complete their yard work, they would need the actual products. Yet, here we are. Just like my visit to this exact location on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend in which they didn't have a single pack of hotdogs or hotdog buns to sell, the garden center has followed suit with their gardening supplies during the height of summer. As you can see by my photos, they didn't have a single bag of top soil. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures inside the garden center, but there were absolutely no fertilizer, (the type you hook up to your water hose) and no plant food sticks or bottled plant food. Also, the very few live plants and flowers they were selling looked like they hadn't been watered in weeks. They were brown and dying. I was shocked that they could even think someone would buy something that looked like those plants/flowers did! As far as the two ladies working in the garden center....let's just say their customer service skills and personalities were just as dried up and dead as their flowers. One of the ladies was stocking or moving products around in one of the aisles. I was attempting to look at a product that she had her large cart in front of. I tried to reach over it to get a product off the shelf, which I was unsuccessful in doing as it was too far off. She never once asked me if she could get something for me or that she was sorry she was blocking the aisle. Nothing. No acknowledgment whatsoever. So I went down the aisle in front of that one so I could go into the aisle she was working in and see if I could get the product from the other side. By the time I had done this, she had moved down the aisle, which again put her directly in front of the product now from the other side! Again, I attempted to reach it. Again, I couldn't, and again, she didn't offer to help me. But this time, she looked at me with a very noticeable look of aggravation and a very exaggerated sigh. Her way of letting me know that I was in HER way. The other female employee was doing something in the other aisles. She was back and forth between several (I couldn't see anything in particular that she was doing. I am pretty sure she was attempting to act busy) At this time, I was looking for the birdhouses. I went up and down each aisle. I know that I was wearing an expression of "I can't seem to find what I am looking for" She caught my eye a few times but she never once acknowledged me or asked me if she could help. I know that I could have asked her. But at this point after dealing with her coworker and their out of stock on everything Garden related, I wanted to see...maybe hoping to see if this particular visit could be turned around by one employee who would go a little bit out of their way to make this a more better experience. Yet she didn't. She was just as unhelpful and just as uncaring as her coworker. Walmart has gotten to where they think they are the only place in town to shop. But I am here to warn them that with their lack of inventory, lack of helpful and friendly employees, and the lack of quality products, they are heading in the direction of having the lack of customers who are willing to shop at their stores.
