Absolute Merit Roofing handled our house restoration from a recent hailstorm in March 2025. We required a full roof replacement, new gutters and much replacement of exterior trim pieces shredded by the large hail.
Through the leadership of Shane, Scotty and Rose, our project was started and completed in a very short time span (about 2 weeks in early April). It has been amazing watching their talented teams repair damaged parts of our house.
If you need a professional, talented team of craftsmen to help with a similar project, I would highly recommend Absolute Merit Roofing.

After a heavy hailstorm came through recently, I contacted Absolute Merit Roofing after receiving a referral from a friend. From the start, the president of the company, Shane Kinnaird was professional, incredibly helpful, and transparent about the process. He provided a detailed quote and answered all my questions. Shane contacted and worked with my insurance company from the beginning to completion. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and finished the project much faster than expected. The cleanup was impeccable. My new roof looks amazing, and I am so happy with the quality. Shane made certain that the job was completed properly. It was a pleasure working with Shane. I would definitely recommend Absolute Merit Roofing to my friends and family!

I want to give a huge thank you to Shane Kinnaird and the team at Absolute Merit Roofing for such a quick and seamless roof repair! From start to finish, the process was stress-free and professional. They even came out and installed a free tarp right away to protect my home before the repair — that kind of service is hard to find these days. 👏

Absolute Merit Roofing did an outstanding job from start to finish! Their team was professional, on time, and extremely knowledgeable. They walked me through every step of the process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with the work being done. The crew worked quickly but with great attention to detail, and the finished roof looks fantastic.

What really stood out was their honesty and customer service—no hidden surprises, just quality work at a fair price. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend Absolute Merit Roofing to anyone in Allen or the surrounding area looking for reliable, top-notch roofing services!

We had a great experience with Absolute Merit Roofing. Shane and Kale (Owners) were super friendly, showed up on time, and kept us in the loop the entire way. They finished our roof faster than we expected, and it looks great!

They also did a great job cleaning up afterward — you’d never even know they were here except for the brand new roof. The price was fair, and there were no surprise costs or headaches.

If you need any roofing work done, definitely give these guys a call. They made the whole process easy and stress-free!

Shane and the crew did great work. They replaced the roof in a single day, even stopping for a quick break when we needed to let the dogs out for a potty break without anything falling on us. They handled the insurance company and got them to cover hail damage to the fence that instance at first said was only cosmetic (it wasn’t cosmetic). All the crews were very respectful. The roofers, garage door, and gutter crews were particularly good. All involved were very friendly and professional. Even when my husband was out of town, I was comfortable with the crews doing work while I was home solo. Highly recommend them. We’re planning on using them for future upgrades to the house as well.

Professional movers and very thorough and careful and respectful. Appreciate doing business with them

The movers arrived over two hours late with no call or explanation. Several items were scratched, and one box went missing entirely. Customer service was slow to respond and offered no real solution. Very disappointing experience.
