General Contractor reviews in Amarillo, Texas

Great company to work with.

Great job on working with us on a complex project. Many moving parts and owner changes. They make sure contractors do the job they were bid/assigned to do.

They are building a McDonalds behind our house . The work site is the trashiest work site I have ever seen. Before this rain when the wind blew the dirt blew straight into the back of our house and neighbors. They had a water truck but would not use it. Trash blew into our yard , the fence blew into the alley. There is garbage all over the site. They are supposed to have truck entrances but they use the alley. Now they are fixing to do another two projects near us. I hope they clean this up or I will be contacting the owner of the McDonalds and see if he has even been to look at this project.

I've been working with CKP Construction for my commercial retail store and couldn't be more thankful to have found this company. When my project began, I cold called the 3 best architectural firms I could find and asked them for their 3 favorite builders to work with. CKP was on everyone's list (and usually ranked #1). It's been a 5 star experience to say the least!

Warning-Do not do business with CKP, Warning
They have hired multiple different contractors and upon completion of work they refuse to pay them for the completed work and contracts. Then they continue to dodge the contractors and workers trying to get paid and resolving the issues. They will not return calls and will not respond to messages. The local news and the BBB have been notified as well as numerous other businesses and contractors in Amarillo and the Panhandle. We will be making all information public once the lean and courts have resolved these issues. I highly recommend one of the many other reputable companies in Amarillo,Holmes Construction,Amarillo Builders,Plains Builders,N&B Homes,Looby Homes.

Horrible. Lazy. Unreliable. They messed up my pipes, and they didn't even fix my walls

Seems like some of their employees need lessons in safe driving, courtesy, and professional behavior.

Tri-State General Contractors are very professional and outstanding to work with. They made our working relationship very successful. They get the job done and make sure the job is completed perfectly and in a timely manner. Hope to work with them again in the near future.

I am pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for Tri-State General Contracting Group, Inc., based on their work with the Hereford Independent School District.
Hereford ISD has utilized Tri-State General Contracting Group for four separate projects, and on each occasion, their performance met—and often exceeded—our expectations. Their workmanship was of high quality, timelines were well managed, and their crews demonstrated professionalism throughout every phase of the projects.
In addition to the quality of construction, Tri-State’s communication and responsiveness have been exceptional. They were proactive in addressing questions or concerns and provided outstanding follow-up and aftercare once projects were completed. Any issues that arose were handled promptly and professionally.
Their job-site organization, materials management, and cleanup were also noteworthy. Each site was left clean, orderly, and safe, reflecting a strong commitment to professionalism and attention to detail.
Based on our experience, Hereford ISD would not hesitate to work with Tri-State General Contracting Group again in the future, and we confidently recommend them to any organization seeking a reliable, high-quality contracting partner.

Awesome company

This is an amazing company with the most genuine, professional crews I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Attempted several times to contact this company and was never able to get in contact with anybody. I dial the extension for their ESTIMATOR, but get put back into the queue. I dial "0" and nobody answers. I'm looking for a contractor in Amarillo and found them via Google, but unfortunately I had to go elsewhere as I wasn't able to get ahold of anybody.

Pleasure to work with our project went according to plan and finished earlier than expected!!

Dewald homes LLC built our dream home. Victor and his crew were informative, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and professional. I love my new home! We will definitely use Dewald Homes LLC for future plans to build.

I had Dewald install a through the wall dog door. I cannot express how awesome of a job they did! They were professional and courteous. They did a better job than it could have imagined! 10 out of 10 stars!!!

I can not say enough good things about Victor and his crew. I contacted him solely on the outstanding reviews on his website and he did not disappoint! I wanted a shower remodel for my elderly mother and his office manager Nick came out to access the project. I was concerned about the cost as she is on a very tight, fixed budget. Not only did they give me a fair cost for the project, but as issues came up along the way as they always do with construction, Victor did his best to correct these issues with quality and cost in the forefront of his mind. This is only the beginning of the ongoing relationship with I have established with Victor and his crew.

I have called on Victor numerous times since the beginning of this project to help me with issues in mom's home. She fell a few weeks back and broke her hip and now we have had the stress of attending to her through hospital, surgery, rehab and now home health care. I have had to call Victor for another plumbing issue, a separate roof issue and an electrical issue. The first plumbing issue was a faucet that I could not get turned off. I frantically texted Victor at 9p at night with my problem. He told me that he would come personally early the next morning to fix it and he did! We have also had ongoing roof issues (with a flat roof) that Victor has had his roofer come and look at and we are waiting for a bid on that. We lost electricity in the bathroom and master bedroom after mom came home from the hospital and Victor would not rest until it was taken care of. I have called Victor my hero a couple of times and I meant it!

Sorry for the long winded review, but I am so impressed with the professionalism and honesty of this young man and his company. You can rest assured that when we need work done in the future, Victor Delwald and his crew are the ONLY ones we intend to contact. We couldn't be any happier with his work. He's one of the good ones. Bonus----he's about as nice as they come also! Thank you over and over, Victor. You're my hero!

Let me just start out by saying Victor is the most patient and professional contractor we've had in our home bar none. Me and my wife didn't exactly have a set plan as far as how we wanted our bathroom remodeled and designed. One thing was for sure what I wanted was different from what my wife wanted. Victor took the time to go over all of our options and patiently set by while me and my wife came to a mutual agreement to the design of our bathroom. What easily could have turned into another nerve racking remodel turned into the best experience I've had thus far with remodeling my home. The bathroom was beautiful and me and my wife could not be more pleased with the cost. We will be using Dewald Home Repair again.

From the initial start the demo guys treated my house and my family like it was there's all the crews were awsome from the plumbing to the time they walked out my door

I highly recommend these guys! Vic and his team took such good care of my wife and I with our bathroom remodels and most of all I trusted them In and with my home. Solid 5 stars I will use them on the next project! Great Prices as well!

I could not have asked for a better crew to do a full remodel. Victor, Nick and the crew's workmanship is great. We made some changes along the way that I decided I wanted to add and Victor was fantastic to work with to give me ideas to consider. I kept a running total of my add ones, and at the end of the project, my total was -.10 different. Lol He was on budget, and I couldn't be happier with the finished work!! Thank you Victor and Nick and crew at Dewald LLC!!

DeWald Construction did some exterior fascia and soffit repair and replacement on my home and repainted to match perfectly! Will definitely use them again for future projects on the inside! Thanks Victor and Crystal!
